Hired a van at the weekend and had outstanding service from Ian, genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful, and his Transporter knowledge was spot‑on.
Highly recommend their services.

I needed to clear a flat of some furniture so I rented from VWFS Speke a Volkswagen Transporter Short Wheelbase (SWB) with a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine and 6-speed manual transmission. Using the website is really easy and Sean sorts all the admin stuff out quickly and efficiently at the desk. Each time I rent a vehicle from here Sean’s customer service is top notch, the vehicle is spotless and smells new. And the price always seems relatively reasonable. All in all, excellent service and great value.

We took the decision to rent one if Thier shuttle vans with 5 seats to attend Camperjam this year, and boy did it do the job well.
From the very beginning when we first spoke with Shaun he talked us through the whole process, even showing us the van prior to booking ensuring if met our needs...
We went for the auto version which in my opinion is the perfect choice when traveling with the family in busy traffic..

Everything we needed fitted in with no need to surround the children's seating area.

Our drop off was once again a friendly smooth affair, all that ngs checked and we were on our way...
We shall definitely be booking with Shaun and his team in the future.

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. After purchasing a vehicle, I encountered an issue that I believed should have been addressed more professionally. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, I felt that responsibility was placed entirely on me as the customer.

What frustrated me most was not the issue itself, but the lack of understanding and customer support when I tried to resolve it. The responses I received felt dismissive, and there appeared to be little willingness to find a satisfactory solution.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

First time hirer with VW Rent-a-car and cannot fault them from start to finish.

Their staff (Liam I think? Apologies for not asking your name at the time) he was pleasant and welcoming with a friendly smile. He explained how the VW hiring process works from the paperwork to showing us the Transporter Shuttle which we hired to how to use the in van equipment.

We hired the Transporter Shuttle for our family trip down south and it didn’t disappoint. My kids had enough room not to be squashed and the boot space was excellent for all our luggage and additional equipment.

I will definitely be hiring from VW again in the future for my next family trip or house move.

Really good and honest place to hire from. Liam and Sean have looked after us for nearly 3 years never had any problems. Very fair on minor damage unlike some places. Prices are very good
