Really impressed with the care hire process! Every bit of the process - including the price - was brilliant.
Hiring a car over Christmas is painful. Most of the "standard" car hire companies offer prices of ~£60/day for a small car. VWFS quote was ~£45/day for a family car - a brand new 21 reg model too!

Picking up the car was smooth and convenient - friendly staff, I was offered a hot drink, no upselling insurance, low deposit (compared to other companies) and I was on my way after the usual checks and paperwork.

The car was a dream to drive - perfect for taking a Santa sleigh's worth of presents on a long road trip to visit family.

Dropping the car off was just as smooth - a quick check and I was handing the keys back to another helpful staff member.

If I had to be constructively critical, I'd prefer to have picked up and dropped off with a full tank (it's always tricky judging how much fuel to put in if not), but that's not the end of the world.

I'd definitely use these guys again for car hire, especially for Christmas journeys!

We had two weekend rentals from Rainworth's in Sheffield. The cars were in excellent condition and performed flawlessly. Prices were lower than most of the competition, for a more substantial vehicle. The dealership is convenient to a Supertram stop. But mostly I appreciated the service. Everyone (especially Katy!) was professional and friendly, with none of the double-talk you get from most car-hire companies trying to sell additional services or insurance that you don't really need.

Excellent service from start to finish. Promptly showed me to the car, clean and tidy and only 6 months old. Just what we needed for the journey we were doing. Returning was painless, check for any damage and given back over. By far the easiest rental experience I’ve had.

After finding a well priced deal at VWFS Rent-a-Car via the internet the online booking was very straight forward as was the pick up (same day). Friendly, courteous staff who made sure I knew all the basics before heading off. I'd secured this rental because my car was in the garage having diagnostics on a fault that was proving difficult to isolate. VWFS were very accommodating making it easy to extend my rental if necessary, as it was my car was repaired within the week. Drop off was simple and I was off within two minutes - definitely use the service again if needed. Also liked the Skoda Octavia I rented, certainly a consideration when I seek a replacement.

It was my first time to drive a rent-a-car and the experience was great! The car was in very good condition and properly cleaned. The staffs were friendly and always wore a smile on their face willing to help.

Unexpectedly found ourselves without a car a few days before holidaying in Scotland. A quick search on the internet found this place and at a couple of hundred pounds below the cheapest competitor. The car was reserved online and the pickup was quick and simple. Excellent rental throughout the two week holiday with no problems and a very nice drive. The swift drop off at the end of the rental was most welcome, I would use VWFS again without hesitation and recommend to others.

The pickup and drop-off process are very smooth as well as phone call to extend my drop-off date.
One comment would be the pickup even though went smoothly but if took sometime 5-10mins for the front desk to clicking stuff. Maybe they're not used to the system yet.

Great service. The team were super friendly and helpful. The vehicle was in great condition and I got what I reserved. Will definitely be using them again on my next visit and would highly recommend to others.

Just used VWFS again and have to reiterate that the service was teh same as my initial experience so will continue to use them for all future needs and have already referred them to some friend to use.

Another straight forward uncomplicated experience renting a car from Rainworth Skoda in Sheffield, easy pickup and drop off. Friendly first class service. Highly recommend as an alternative to the dedicated car rental companies. Will use again.
