Its SAD

Its SAD, I dont accustom writing reviews. But, the company can benefit from them.
I was very disappointed, when picking up photos, there was no one at the counter.
When I able to call an associate " through the 2 way glass" she came out and told me that someone would right away. As I glands
Over, THAT someone, walked right by in front of I said, I'll be right back. WELL, a total of approximately 10 minutes when by.
NOW, there's 4 other customers waiting.
I raise my voice to ask for help, then a gentleman finally helped. I will NOT return to this store.

Terrible service and customer…

Terrible service and customer attention. The associate in the photo department at Walgreens 42 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073, has a very bad attitude. This has happened several times. They should replace this associate; he treats people very poorly.

This is more of a product review

This is more of a product review. On your instant toothache and gum pain relief. (cream). I find this product gives better and more long-lasting relief than the National brand who's name starts with O. Thank you. It is taking me a week to get to my dentist, and your product has allowed me not to miss any work and, more importantly, not need to take any other form of pain medication.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible! Fiance did a Walgreens telehealth visit to get a prescription, paid out of pocket for the telehealth visit and there was no where to put in his insurance information so figured ok fine whatever he pays a copay anyway at his doctor's he'll just pay this telehealth fee then update his insurance info by calling Walgreens pharmacy before we go in to pick up his prescription. Called the pharmacy for them to tell us his insurance is only covering 10 pills not 90 days and the reason why is because it needs prior authorization. The damn Walgreens telehealth doctor obviously authorized his prescription prior to sending it into the pharmacy or it would've never been signed off and approved by the doctor and sent to the pharmacy. The pharmacy tech says she needs to send it back to the doctor for prior authorization. Wth??!! How does this happen when it was Walgreens Telehealth and Walgreens Pharmacy Just makes no sense to me. Find another telehealth company. Run far away!

I I have been going to this Walgreens…

I I have been going to this Walgreens for years. And I must say that the customer service has gotten worse everyday. Today, for example Ms Yelian. Was not to say the list insulting. I got some stuff that were on sale. I took a picture. I say courtesy to them so they when I got to the front desk course it was not on sale. I have to get off the line go up back there with her because she kept saying to me. Oh are you sure you took it from there and then away the other thing that didn't Mark the price? I also have to go with her to find where did it say the price which was right in front of her. Very bad customer service. And at the end of the day she did not give me the stuff for the price that was marked that I have a picture for. Instead she went on to something about the BOGO and I paid from $3.99. I paid $14.99 for an item.

Beware of Unexpected Prescription Transfers!

There appear to be some friendly and skilled people working in our local Walgreens as well as at the Corporate Customer Care telephone center, but some pretty inept people elsewhere in the chain of command, perhaps especially in the IT department or whatever department is responsible for the pharmacy's internal operations / patient electronic medical records.
Just about anytime that a prescription cannot be easily filled at our closest location, (and that problem happens far too frequently!) pharmacy staff recommend sending it over to a different location that has the med in stock. Drive a little further, wait to pick up the med and bring it home. Not too much extra inconvenience... well, not until it's realized that the next time any of your other meds get filled, they get sent to that other location!!! This has happened to us multiple times, so much so that now if a med is not in stock, we'll wait for it to show up rather than to have to go through the hassle of having ALL our scripts at the other location! They cannot transfer a script within the Walgreens network of pharmacies for one-time or one med only! What an INSANE way to manage prescriptions! Oh, and it gets worse ... we recently learned that if there's a snag with insurance and one of the staff finds an attractive out-of-pocket price by using Good Rx or some kind of coupon... POOF! There goes your insurance information! Yep, the system 'captures' whatever change is made to it and keeps it there! We found out about that when asking one of the techs about the prices for our meds! The situation caused us to wonder whether we may have been overcharged for some of our meds a couple of months ago because the system may have run ALL the scripts through Good Rx, rather than just the med that is not covered by the insurance! OUCH! How stupid does someone have to be to design a system that will capture changes but has no capacity to indicate a temporary or 'one-time' variation in the system?
Oh, and while taking the time to complain about Walgreens' idiotic Prescription Transfer practice, I'll add that our local Walgreens Pharmacy department is now closed on weekends... yes, closed on SATURDAY, TOO!

Hurry up and wait. You don't matter

Walgreens pharmacy (Sharon Rd Charlotte) is where most of the income in the store is derived. I know this from buying a Walgreens (they lease) as an investment for a company I worked for. You would think they would answer the phone in under 15 minutes (so far) during business hours. The message is "we don't need your money" and you are not important. We all know "insurance" is what drives costs for medicines and doctors costs. Until we are treated like we matter, as the customer, vs the insurance company I see little changes. Publix has been much better and answer they're phone.

The Worst Security Gaurd of All Time!

Just stopped by the Walgreens Store at the Parkchester location in the Bronx. It was approximately 1:30-2:00pm. I asked the security officer on duty a very simple store related question, I believe he called me a derogatory name under his breath. Not sure if he was having a bad day or not, but his conduct was incredibly unprofessional & totally unacceptable on a multitude of levels! He seriously needs to be investigated! Are these the type of employees you hire? I am deeply disappointed and super dissatisfied with this dehumanising treatment!

Why is it hard for people to have…

Why is it hard for people to have common sense?
I came to drop off two prescriptions and to pick up one. Courtney, the heavy set caucasian girl they had working the window, was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. I tried to ask three simple questions.
1. When will they be ready for pick up?
Her answer: they'll be ready later. I don't know when.

This isnt a clear answer. So I asked;

2. Would it better if I take them somewhere else because I am going to need them tonight?

She got rude and started overtaking me mid question, her shift in tone displaying a distasteful attitude of annoyance towards me simple stating that I would need the medicine tonight, because they were immediately necessary.

In response I asked for the prescriptions back and to pick up the order that had already been filled.

Instead of listening, she threw the prescriptions into the ben and walked off.

She ignored us for six minutes, clearly seeing us at the window. She didnt come until the store manage "Heavenly" was called.
Courtney then would make an excuse claiming she thought we drove off. How did she think we drove off when she was looking at us constantly the duration of those six minutes?

Her attitude changed immediately when she realized that we were on the phone with corporate filing a complaint.

When it finally came time to get the prescription that was ready, she tried to hold my debit card hostage to force us to listen to her. My son, who is a Deputy informed Courtney in that moment that she was now committing a felony, which unlawful possession of a debit/credit card is a Class D felony. That is the only reason she gave it back.

It is ridiculous how entitled and unprofessional people are. Half the time this Walgreens doesn't even have the antibiotics nore pain medications in after they claim they just had a truck. That makes me wonder if someone is taking them Where are the medications going?

This is the Walgreens located at 2940 West Main street Dothan AL, 36305.

Classic Bait and Switch

I ordered four bottles of face cleanser and within 15 minutes Walgreens substituted three of the four with a brand I don't even like. I called them immediately (this was inside of 30 minutes of placing the above online order) and the woman I spoke with said there was *nothing* she could do. She stated that I had "agreed" to allow them to switch out any product if the product I ordered was unavailable. I did no such thing, at least not knowingly. Walgreens, I sure hope this bit of unscrupulous corporate malfeasance is worth losing my patronage from now until the end of time. If Walgreens had been consciously *trying* to drive me away forever as a customer, they couldn't have done a better job. Goodbye, Walgreens. You were once great and now you're just a bad memory.

Poor management

Every time I have gone to this pharmacy, there has been issues. This pharmacy rarely has your medication ready. They will often put your medication on hold rather than filling it when called the in. You either need to request it filled through their app first, call and wait on hold to request it filled by the phone, or go i and request it be filled and then come back an hour later.

Besides that issue, even when my prescription shows ready, many times I go through the drive-through and see the staff inside talking and despite seeing me in the window, they’ll stand around or walk around before attending to you. This has happened several times. It is not just a one time thing that has happened to me. Again, knowing my prescription is ready when they ask for the patient name to look them up. They often will spend 10 minutes at that computer, tapping as though they are having to feel your prescription. It is my belief they are actively working other peoples prescriptions and just making you wait. Again, this happens a lot of times depending on who is waiting the window. There have been times with certain staff that it does move a little faster than that.

The final issue is they do not tell people in the window to circle around if their prescription is not ready, causing drive-through to back up and causing longer wait times for individuals who prescriptions may already be ready. I have sat in a drive-through for 30 minutes at a time due to other people waiting for them to fill their prescription and not being asked to circle around the building so other customers can be waited on.

I have also witnessed them close curtains down in the drive-through on customers who were lined up before they closed but unable to pull up until after closing time due to staff not asking people to circle the building when their medication is not ready. The staff refused to wait on them due to it being time for lunch breaks or closing time. Despite the customers being in line prior to those closing times and having to wait because they do not ask individuals to circle the building. Had they asked customers to circle the building when the medication was not ready they would have been able to wait on those other customers before the closing time.

Lastly, I will note I have used this specific pharmacy even when it was a Rite Aid pharmacy. The customer service when it was under Rite Aid management far exceeds the service that you receive now that it is under Walgreens. I am not sure if it is due to a change in procedures or staff members however, the lack of customer service is greatly noticed.

Walgreens

When I was a young girl Walgreens was my favorite store
Fast forward til today and Walgreens is not like it used to be
Pharmacy is horrible
Pharmacy calls and sends a message that prescription is ready for pick up
Soo I go there wait in line to hear oh no we have to order it well that is a three day wait
If a pharmaceutical item is prepackaged why does it take three days to fill
This is a small town unlike Chicago
Chicago fills same day with double the amount of orders

I called the pharmacy at Walgreens in…Robbinsdale, MN. 4100 W. Broadway Ave, Robbinsdale, MN.

I called the pharmacy at Walgreens in Minneapolis (address: 4100 W. Broadway Ave, Robbinsdale MN. phone: 763-537-9487). I was put on hold. The recorded message said, "There are more than three customers ahead of you." Once a minute, the message repeated.

After about a half hour, the recorded message said that there were two customers ahead of me. This message then repeated for about a half hour. After about an hour, the message changed to, "There is one person ahead of you."

After more than an hour, a different sounding recorded message said that the pharmacy would be closed for a one hour lunch break.

I was put on hold for more than an hour. After the hour wait, I was told that the pharmacy would be closed for an hour. The recorded message said that I could either hold for that hour or call back later.

I feel that this is extremely poor service.

Get your meds someplace else

As of the writing of this review, I am switching over to the Amazon pharmacy that my wife has been using without issue for years. I am doing this because Amazon does 3 things walgreens doesnt:

1) actually delivers it to your house when you select that option. The last 3 times I tried to have this done through the walgreens app, it took my money and then just dropped it off at the store and didnt tell me.
2) I dont have to wait in line behind 2 people that for some reason takes 45 minutes to get through.
3) An app that actually WORKS. The last 2 times I've tried to simply refill my medications that still had refills, it popped up a message that told me a "problem had occurred and to call the pharmacy," just to have the pharmacist fill it with no issue. It didnt tell me what the problem supposedly was. It's just BROKEN.

Good riddance walgreens.

Don't buy gift cards from Walgreens, EVER!!!

Don't buy gift cards from Walgreens, ever!! The Walgreens in Lake Geneva, WI sold me a $100 Lululemon gift card that did not work on the Lululemon website. The card was listed as not activated, even though I had the activation receipt from Walgreens. A visit to the store to try and get the card activated again was disastrous. The manager and assistant manager basically threw us out of the store. "They have no obligation where gift cards are concerned." If they don't work, then it's "let the buyer beware". The activation receipts are worthless. They don't mean anything at all, per the management team at Walgreens, Lake Geneva. They refused to help us in any way. Make sure to buy gift cards someplace else, never at Walgreens. And if you are in Lake Geneva, keep on going if you need supplies. Target is just around the corner.
