I would definitely recommend Workr Umbrella Limited. Polite and knowledgeable staff on the phone always able to help with queries. Always paid me on time. Easy to use portal to view my payslips etc., and they provide a health benefit! Top marks from me!

This company keep messing with my…

This company keep messing with my husbands wages. They cease every month and set up as a new employee causing my husband to pay emergency tax. He gets paid for 3 weeks work at a time but never gets paid the same figure per week. It's an uphill fight every month just to get his wages, which are never right. AVOID WERE POSSIBLE

This company is the worst company that have ever been with it’s Customerservice it’s ridiculous.

They wright so many different figures down to fool you they try to make simple things complicated and I truly believe they rob you

Absolutely bully company

Absolutely bully company. If you really need to work whit an umbrella company, don't make the mistake to chose this one.
They call you from different numbers, you don't know anymore how is how they keep scaring you that is you don't do this or that you will not be paid and they keep you in permanent fear.
THIS UMBRELLA COMPANY FORGOT HOW ARE PAYING THEM BECAUSE THEY MAKE THE PAYSLIP FOR YOU, AND YOU ARE PAYING THEM.
YOU, THE EMPLOYEE, ARE THEIR CUSTOMER.
THEY NEED TO REMEMBER THAT OR MAYBE TO FIND OUT .I DONT THINK THEY UNDERSTAND THAT.

Nothing but good words to say about my…

Nothing but good words to say about my time spent with Workr. Customer Service team were always spot on with any queries I raised. Knowledgeable, professional and courteous at all times. I have only left because lucky to have secured a full time position, but would not hesitate to recommend Workr. Thank you and all the best for the future

Have been with Workr for over a month…

Have been with Workr for over a month now and am blown away by their professionality and their on time payments. I also love that their payslips give you a breakdown and rthey are happy to further explain any questions you have.
Jodhi was great when it came to signing me up. I was having so many issues with a previous umbrella and was eager to move ASAP; she did everything so quickly, it was amazing. 100% recommended!

Brand new to this type of working…

Brand new to this type of working (umbrella). So far I have encountered nothing but a completely professional attitude. I had an initial issue with not receiving my first wage. This was totally my fault as I had forgot to forward my "Proof/Right to work in UK" documents. One call to Katie and it was sorted. I forwarded my documents and James even managed to pay my owed wages into the bank that evening. Top stuff!!! Looking forward to a great and lasting working relationship with WorkR.

Been looking after my pay for months…

Been looking after my pay for months absolutely bang on never had a single problem with them always paid on time always the wage I’m expecting also texts day before money in first thing Friday morning amazing head and shoulders above most out there

UnProactive and unprofessional business Approach!

UnProactive and unprofessional business approach for contracting! Awaiting on agreed weekly payment from last 3 weeks and they're now telling me their representative (Jodhi) is on holidays till 18th Aug who has signed my paperwork and then they'd only be able to send invoice to client once she's back however, until last week their customer service reps were telling me they've sent an invoice and awaiting on payment from client but, once I've asked from client Workr changed their position to another*!

They've also promised Friday on call they'd call/email me to update on payment to make an exception however, haven't heard anything back till yet!!

3 weeks

Worked a few days for them recently, £12.90 per hour, kept with holding my payment (they had my passport and N.I, proof of address etc) and underpaid me by nearly £200, from the text I recieved, absolutely fuming with them; "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE"

Wouldn’t even give them one star if I had the choice absolute joke of a firm can never get your wages right then ring u up saying that your the one who made the mistake I need to pay them back what I owe even tho it says on my wage that it’s correct underpaying you for hours worked even tho u done the same hours the week before and picked up a different wage avoid at all costs these are a joke I am leaving them myself absolutely hate them!!!!!

Not up to speed on computers,was told to go on a new portal absolute nightmare. So many letters numbers capitals high case low case WHY is this so so difficult I only want a wage slip very poor service

We changed our online portal recently to provide a number of benefits to our contractors so I'm sorry to hear you have had trouble logging in. The portal we now use is quite technical when it comes to passwords to ensure client data is kept safe and secure. However I appreciate this can cause confusion. They are taking a big chunk of your wages.

My wage is around £448 after tax and their fee is £51.70. They are taking double than the HMRC. In the begging they promised me it will never exceed £15 but when I called them back after I received my first payslip they told me it was not true!!! Just avoid...

Service okay but fees unfair

Service was fine when I needed it, but when it came to putting my company into dormancy and eventually closing it down the advice they gave was purely to make more money. Throughout the experience they kept coming up with new and unexpected charges for no value at all.

Late payments over three weeks

I had ten straight weeks with Workr Group where everything was fine. However, three weeks ago, they went off the rails, and I did not get paid for two weeks. I rang them and was told they would get back to me but never did. My agent managed to get through and was told they had mixed up the remittances advice with another client of the agency who was with Workr Group. I then got paid two-weeks late back pay. Last week again, I had not been paid. I decided something was a miss and it was prudent to change umbrella company. And yes the agency provided me with evidence they had paid the remittance in good time
