Over the years I have had Warranty Direct policies on various Fords. By using their website, I was able to obtain a quote which was £170 cheaper than Ford's own extended warranty quoted, this is great as Ford actually uses the same Warranty Direct underwriters. The quote seems to be based on the car's mileage at time of taking the policy out. So a low mileage is less risk, and a lower premium.

Online application form was easy to navigate and cover offered just what I needed for a hybrid family car nearing the end of its manufacturers' warranty. I compared the benefits with those offered by other warranty companies and none of the others could offer anything near it. Also the annual premium was divided into 12 equal instalments at no extra cost. All very impressive!

Just renewed my policy for the 4th year. Great price and excellent cover. So simple to arrange.

I’ve got some extended warranty with this lot, not because they are the cheapest but significantly less expensive than Volvo! Like the car insurance the annual cost doesn’t go down but because things are made to be increased suck it up. On the good side they let you drag out the misery across a year without any interest, just the annual cost chopped into 12 painful instalments! I will probably stick with them until it gets so expensive I will question my sanity!
