Amazing service. Sent an Omega planet ocean to them and I was constantly kept up to date. Watch is back and working like new.
Highly recommend.

Great service as usual from Christian, Johannes and Ray. Have had three watches serviced with them now, and have been delighted each time. Their website allows you to see what stage in the process your watches are at and allows you to see photos of your watch parts. A superb feature.
Highly recommended! Just had my Omega Seamaster Special Edition fully serviced by the Watchguy's. From start to finish the process was excellent - great and regular communication with informative updates and reassuring pictures of your time piece as it goes through the process, and the pricing very reasonable. Will use them again for sure.

I had a 1970s Buler Jump Hour watch repaired. 2 years later it still runs perfectly. It was only cheap when new, but it received the same attention as if it were valuable antique. No high street jeweller was interested in repairing it. I would thoroughly recommend The Watchguy.
A sentimental watch now completely ruined. At a cost of £347
I wanted to be a pilot my whole life and when I realised my dream was actually going to happen I bought a lovely pilot watch in April 2005! The watch has never let me down, never faltered, and certainly never leaked.
And then I sent it to Christian for a service.
In all my dealings with Christian I have been made to feel that I should be honoured he is taking the time to service my watch. It is a honour, and you are not a customer. When I confirmed I wanted luminous compound reapplied to the hands as I work on an often dimly illuminated flight deck. The response was something along the lines “congratulations on being the first person who actually wants this done”.
A short time after the service I went surface swimming/splashing with my children (not snorkelling or diving) and couldn’t believe that water had got into my watch. I was genuinely saddened. When I contacted Christian the response was not what I expected. After a lecture on how silly I was to swim with a chronograph (a chronograph that has never ever ever leaked in 16 years) we agreed I would return the watch to him, at my own expense, and he would take a look. I then received an email to say “I have a watch that tested waterproof when it left my workshop, and it tests waterproof now, so what do you want me to do”?
He opened and dried the watch and sent it back to me, but I had no confidence to swim with it ever again and even took to removing the watch before showering. Again, something I had never done in the 16 years prior.
And then to top it all off, several months later, one of the pushers has fallen off! To have one of these replaced and fitted is going to cost me hundreds of pounds. In a cavalier email reply Christian accepts no responsibility. I’ve contacted Trading standards and the Citizens Advice bureau, and they advise I have a case under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but quite honestly I can’t be bothered to waste any more heart beats on this guy.
Trying to be subjective and take emotion out of the equation, it is possible these problems are a complete coincidence. But factually, I did have a watch that worked perfectly for 16 years, all be it it lost a bit of time, and now my watch is worthless following a service by Christian at a cost of £337 …..plus £10 for a new waterproof gasket!

Ray recently serviced my Precista watch from 2005. Friendly, professional service from the outset - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent communication throughout. Great to have found a watch servicing company that I can trust.
After reading reviews online of the watch guy, I was keen to get my watched serviced here.
After an initial enquiry, I was asked to send my watch in and given a price beforehand. Watch was sent away, I was notified when the watch arrived and given constant updates throughout, via email and also the picture updates were a great feature of the service.
Honestly a fantastic service the whole way through, even the nice touch of a travel case when I received the watch back.
I wouldnt use anyone else going forward. Fantastic experience from start to finish.
Great service and pricing, just a pleasure from the booking procedure to the photo gallery of the whole process.
I won’t go anywhere else in the future, big thanks to Christian and team.
I sent my Rolex to Christian expecting it to take ages to do. I was surprised to receive it back within three weeks with a service, replacement of mainspring and glass for a fraction of the price of a London Rolex specialist. This is a team that loves what it does and does it supremely well. Yes, Christian has Continental sense of humour but one can tolerate that knowing your watch is in very safe hands. A superb company
Great service all the way...from beginning till the end.
After an exchange of emails to make sure that my two old and broken Omega Chronostops would be accepted, I applied to get them on the waiting list and heard back with positive news after a couple of weeks. The price quoted was very reasonable - not cheap but less than competing High Street services (and hugely less than Watches of Switzerland!). Ray kept me informed throughout the renovation process, explaining what new parts were needed and sent photos showing progress. After a couple of weeks, the watches returned to me, beautifully restored to life and keeping excellent time. They came with a 1-year guarantee and a little bag containing the parts that had been replaced. Highly recommended and I wish I had known about The Watch Guy years ago.
I sent my Poljot Sturmanskie 31659 to Christian for a service as no other watchmaker in the UK(that I could find) would touch it. Christian did not sell me a complete service even tough I was willing to pay it, he just adjusted and lubricated some of the watch as that is what was needed. Excellent watchmaker, great communication, the job tracker on his website is an awesome feature. I hope to deal with him again! He is booked ahead for weeks, that on its own has to say something.
I have had a number of watches serviced by Christian all at a very reasonable price and with first class service.
I thoroughly recommend him.
Watchguy probably doesn't need my review as the only downside I found is that he receives so many requests it's hard to get your watch to the top of his list. As his website says, if you log your watch on the waiting list and they haven't been able to accept it within 4 weeks, you get an email saying this and need to rebook the watch. I had to do this a couple of times, but when the watch was accepted and I sent it in, they turned it round very quickly and so far, a month later, it works perfectly. I emailed Watchguy before logging my watch, to check they could handle it, and at a few stages during the process and post the service and always, without fail, had a speedy, courteous and helpful response from either Christian or his colleague Johannes. My watch is nothing special itself (not a Rolex or anything like that) but rather old, >40 years and with high sentimental value. It was hard to find anyone who would service it properly but Watchguy did a great job and I would recommend them without hesitation
I had a very rude response from Christian when inquiring about a service. If they take the same lack of care servicing watches as they do dealing with customers, I had a lucky escape.
