The bottle kiln

Place, food, location are what you would expect! The low score is for the staffs attitude to the disabled facilities!! My wife, unfortunately, has to use a wheelchair. On entering she needed to use the facilities which are conveniently located near the entrance to the building. The door to the disabled toilets was open!!! We went in, she did her business and on leaving I made sure the door was closed. I was berated by a group of men using the window table. They moaned that I had locked the door.
After a little while I went to the bar to order drinks. I spoke with the bar staff, told them what happened, that there was urine all over the floor that my wife and I had to wade through to use the commode, and asked what is the point of having disabled facilities if it was just used as a downstairs toilet? They have a lift to take you to the regular ones upstairs!!!
I was told it would be taken up to a manager. In the approximately 2 hours we were there someone WALKED to the bar, got the key, opened the door and then walked back to give the key back, left the door OPEN, so all and sundry could use it. Staff must have passed the OPEN disabled toilet door a hundred times back and forth and IGNORED it.
It is DISABLED, not a downstairs facility!
Staff should ENFORCE the disabled part by making sure the door remains CLOSED, not left open for an easier life.

Visited the Great Western in New Street…

Visited the Great Western in New Street station on Tuesday 8th October at 1pm. Placed a food order at the bar for a Ham and Mushroom pizza and a small fish and chips. Advised by the barman that it would be a 15 minute wait. Fine. However the fish and chips arrived but no Pizza. After waiting a while I enquired where the pizza was. After a look of puzzlement from the waitress and her checking with the kitchen, she had delivered the pizza to the wrong table. By the time this was sorted out and I was still waiting to receive my food, my husband had eaten his fish and chips. Eventually, I received the pizza, which was nice, but it would have been much better if we could have eaten together and if an apology had been forthcoming.
I would also comment that the waitress when delivering the fish and chips stood fir at least 5 minutes with the plate in her hand whilst she had a good old chat to another customer and the food she was about to deliver was going cold.
Visited this establishment many times and on this occasion it was not at all busy, so no excuse for shoddy service. Will think twice before eating here again.

The Globe Hotel in Kings…

We stayed at The Globe Hotel in Kings Lynn. A little apprehensive as a Weatherspoons establishment but we were pleasantly surprised. Location was central, quality of room was excellent and the staff were really helpful. Easily comparable with Premier Inn standard, if not better. Will stay at a Weatherspoons hotel again. Great for a short break.

William Adams Gorleston ordered ham…

William Adams Gorleston ordered ham eggs and chips, the ham looked grey and eggs were hard, took it back to be told eggs were a preference , and all the ham was the same and they could not change the ham but would cook 2 new eggs, so i asked for money back and was told as it was a customer preference I could not , so i asked for a different meal, and was told i could not so i asked for the duty manager, she came and after a discussion i ordered new meal which i paid the difference . to be told this was a one time offer and I could not do it again, I thought if you were not happy with a meal in England you could get your money back if you did not eat it .

Been few days ,on 20/05/ at WeatherSpoon at Market Harbourgh ,usually I am regular customer of this venue ,most of the time the venue is very well maintained ,indoor and outdoors during busy days ,I had the most unpleasant experience ,it was around afternoon time .The state of the pub was appalling ,all around the bathroom ,men's toilest ,I have checked the cleaning rota been signed but nothing was c leaned ,door handles , toilets area ,all marked around the door ,toilet paper t on the floor went to was my hands and when I exited the men are and sit on a table ,I have notice I had on my short trouses men's faces.Totally gutted, went and told the staff of the bar and women ignore it saying sorry .I suggest the standards of cleaning were below any decency and customer service was 0.

Just had the the most appalling…

Just had the the most appalling experience I’ve ever experienced, I took my friends to Weatherspoons the glasshouse Norwich whilst visiting from the new forest, one of whom is disabled and needs a working dog , we ordered and payed for our food and were seated only to be approached by a member of staff saying she could not able to bring her dog in , he was told about my friend’s disability and he took it upon himself to ask the manager who I understood to be someone called Claire where she confirmed we had to leave,my friend left the premises, once she left she had an epileptic fit on the street all caused by the way we were treated I’m disgusted and appalled I intend to take this further it’s discrimination of the worst kind

Would not give one star my daughter…

Would not give one star my daughter went to the Turls Green Bradford today beware of thieves, she takes a child with Autisism to Weatherspoons as he likes the Pitzas and his routine. She was targeted by a theif right in front of of the cctv camera. The person behind the bar was no help, as when she asked for cctv checking the staff member said it was blocked? The matter has been reported to the police and also lodge as a complaint keep your valuables close if you dare to venture here!

Wheatherspoon White Hart Todmorden

Called into Wheatherspoon White Hart Todmorden for lunch with my daughter and wife. I ordered their chilli with chips. The food was served on a stone cold plate, with a tablespoon full of brown mush served on top of a few chips the cold plate was loaded with limp lettuce leaves. It was the worst food I have ever had in a British pub or restaurant since the austere Post-War days when Britain was notorious foor poor food standards. I have used Wheatherspoons in Fleetwood and Blacpool where their chilli was served piping hot I a hot dish with chios served in a separate bowl. I will not be using the White Hart again a y day soon, my daughter paid for my lunch so I was reluctant to complain or send the food back not to show her ingratitude

Poor food and horrible staff member

Ordered food after checking if we were ok with the dog on the outside table area and was told fine , So we ordered food and drink.
When the food arrived someone on a Job power trip said dogs aren’t allowed on the premises.
Food was average , Luke warm and didn’t enjoy clad I’m only at this pub today in Wales.
I would not recommend The Sussex pub as it didn’t live up to Weatherspoons that I’ve been to before very very disappointed.

CCTV conveniently not available

I went and alas the internet and such places were not prvalent then. I have been to the Great Keeper of the Seal in Oadby. They have a serious attitude problem serving Indians. Everyone at the bar got served before me. I mage a scene and wrote to HQ, I said watch the CCTV footage. Low and behold they sadi the CCTV footage had braoken down. I saidyou had a Miss S that day, they said she was never there that day. What a buch of Liars.

Oh my god

Oh my god. Hit and miss with different places. Hatfield is a poor, sad depressing place. Staff are so unbelievably unhelpful. Nothing was available when ordering food and drink.
I’ve had to come here over the years for work and it’s really not improved.
Shame as so many other weatherspoons are outstanding.

Bad Breakfast

Went for a breakfast at the Square Bottle on Foregate Street Chester and it was awful ,everything was cold asked to change beans for mushrooms and got ONE mushoom, bacon wasn't even full slices and one side of toast wasn't toasted and the smallest egg I've ever seen, sausage and hash browns were tasteless.Only gave 1 star because no option to reward no stars.

Food Allergies

Sadly, I’ve never had a good experience here. Food is often cold and appears to be reheated from days before. Customer service isn’t good and the restaurant doesn’t cater for people with allergies appropriately. My daughter has Celiac Disease and can’t eat gluten or it makes her very sick. She was given food that was contaminated with gluten and became very poorly as a result. I’m surprised they are still allowed to remain open!
