I have had Webroot on two MacBook Air Tablets for 8-10 yrs and initially loved the program and the ease of use.
Recently I began to believe that the program was not running on schedule and I was unable to use the Program Optimizer.
So I contacted the Best Buy Geek squad for help. (that is where I bought the Mac and the Webroot program).
After communicating with at least 5 different agents on three different occasions and over 6 hours exchanging information and viewing my monitor I was informed that Webroot could no longer be installed on my computer, currently running the Monterey 12.3 version.
I had loved the program until recently, just renewed it infact, and am really bummed that it began misfunctioning a while back and now no longer available.
What's the scoop?????

It took me 3 written requests to advise I was overbilled twice. The first billing was credited. The second billing of 62.66 still remains on my bill. I hope this is cancelled or I will have to contact my credit card company and complain. What a waste of precious time!

Twice, as it will happen on the internet, my computer got hijacked by a virus that tells me to call a number to Microsoft (yea, right) to fix it. Within seconds, I turned off and rebooted the laptop, went to Webroot and performed an immediate scan. Bing, bang, bong... I was fine. ....... Also, when I changed computers after one got too old, Webroot help made the transition easy and seamless.
I love my Webroot virus protection. It runs behind the scenes, never slows me down, and gives outstanding protection from the nasty stuff your devices might encounter. I have complete confidence and trust in this product.
I keep getting pop ups from McAvee. Why if I’m paying for webroot to keep that off my computer.

This has to be the fastest and most unobtrusive antivirus program out there! It has blocked and destroyed more things and sites than any other major antivirus program out on the market. Runs quietly in the background and doesn't hamper the computer it's on even if the computer in question is an older one. I have tried Norton, Kaspersky, AVD, and Viper, and of all of them, Webroot is number a, American owned, and number b, effective. Get this program and enjoy not having Norton try to have you buy a more expensive version and be a system hog at the same time. Your computer will thank you.
I have used other services and frankly, Webroot is the best. It is the best protection and best value. It gives me updates and is user-friendly and easy to understand.
I highly recommend it.
Webroot keeps my pc running good and will fix it to keep it that way
Been with Webroot for a couple years now, I have often questioned whether its working well or not but I suppose the truth is I've had no problems and they must be protecting my computer. I've bounced back and forth with some of the other antivirus software but this seems to be fine. There's never any malicious threats so I can't report on what happens when there's a virus.
I have used Webroot for many years, I wouldn't use any other program..
Since I signed up with Webroot, it has been running in the background without impacting my day-to-day computer use. I get reports showing any problems they have found and fixed. It's simple to load and reasonably priced. I would recommend it highly.
It works great on my desktop. However, recently it keeps hanging up on my older laptop which is Windows 10, the same as my desktop. It used to work fine but now has trouble connecting.

Installing Webroot was very simple. I feel safe navigating the world wide web without my information being used by cybercriminals. The price is excellent and the antivirus software is worth having. Thank you Webroot!
I practically live in Mexico. Webroot has always protected my computers from viruses and cyber attacks. Mexico is one of the WORST countries for this.
Thank you Webroot....
We are very satisfied, and grateful, for the service received from WEBROOT in all these past years.
But, since the beginning of our last subscription, we have not been able to use this program, such as scanning.
Something is wrong, and maybe you can help us from there.
Soon we will be carring our computer to B.B. for a "tune-up". Meanwhile, please, we need your help.
Thanks!!!
Webroot is a good solid program that works very well.
I have used this program for many years, whenever I get a new computer, first thing is to load your program.
All the computers at the non profit I run also is on all our systems. When new things come along, we don't use them because the history of using Webroot serves us well. I like we can set up when we want it to run and I like the feedback of what is found.
Webroot came with the computer I bought over 20 yesterday ago. Windows came with a program I needed to renew but I couldn't get their attention so I go to renew Webroot and got a human being on the first try and was told their security programs offered what I was trying to renew with Windows. I always renew for multiple years. The websites I go to shows it is accepted as safe with the Webroot logo in the upper right corner. I have had a few more desktops since and just change over to the new one. My household has several computers and webroot takes care of all of them.
One of the best programs I have used. Reasonably priced and it does all the work.
