Wedge 3D are now the fastest growing 3D printing accessory company in the United Kingdom. As a family business, we have removed the corporate nonsense and tried to build a business based on good, honest, home-grown values. We knew the UK was missing a 3D printing business that really cared, so that is what we have attempted to build.

Excellent purchase experience! Recommended

I purchased a few items for my Prusa from Wedge3D a few days before Christmas. I had a query about one of the items so used live chat in the late evening and spoke to a real and friendly agent who was very helpful.

The world was super busy and supply chain delays were being experienced due to Christmas and Covid, but Wedge3D still did their best to get my order delivered before Christmas Day; which, to my surprise, they achieved!

And how great to finally have a company in the UK that sells Prusa parts! I hope they continue to add more parts to their stock list.

All in all an excellent purchase experience. I’ll happily use them again and I’m pleased to recommend them.

Highly recommend Wedge 3D - great guys

Wedge 3D have not solicited this review, so it definitely comes from the heart... I have not even received my shipment yet (ordered late last night), so will come back and revise my comments if necessary.

Firstly, Wedge 3D is a company run by Real Human Beings. A small local business. So already we're in the right ballpark.

How do I know this? How many times have you placed an order and received a phone call first thing in the morning from someone who is knowledgeable about the product you want, just checking a detail? And then listens to me whinge about Royal Mail (who are currently failing to deliver in West London - as in, week-long delays) and ensures the shipment is sent out via another means? No? Me neither. Never. It never happens. That's because these days we rely on enormous faceless logistics companies (Amaz**.com) and it would never happen. Wedge 3D are using what they have to their advantage: humanity!

Secondly, the strapline on the website is "if it says in stock, it is in stock in the UK"... which is actually really good because I have definitely experienced sites before that accidentally on purpose say they have stock of something only to find that they don't, and that's how they get your order, and you regret it and always wonder whether it was a genuine mistake.

Well, I am sure mistakes happen, but the fact I received a phone call from a Real Human Being after placing an order means to me the following: even if mistakes are made, possibly more likely of a small business than a large logistics company, it's how you deal with them that matters. So yes - I'll take the tiny possibility of error (NOT that this happened here - I'm just musing...) and support a small business.

Secondly the website was the only one I have seen that actually confirms compatibility of certain parts with my 3D printer (apart from Prusa's own website, which by the way had sold out of three of the important things I actually needed).

So yes - humanity, communication, stock levels, oh - and reasonable prices. Got the order out the same day.

Finally, there were some products on the site that I didn't realise I wanted (metal extruder cleaning brushes, reamers, and a replacement print fan) and picked those up as well.

Thanks to the Facebook 3D Printing group that recommended this company to me, I will *definitely* be using Wedge 3D again. Hope they go from strength to strength. 10 out of 5 stars so far!

Fast, Easy and with a good selection.

This was my first time ordering from these guys, and it won't be the last. A fair sized selection of filaments from some of the big brands at a great price too. And also tricky to get items here in the UK. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Oh and the Rainbow drops went down a treat...
