Horrible customer service, will not be returning as a long time customer. You can't return any real food. Crazy.

I had placed and order for a boutonnière about a week before I needed it. I called the day off to make sure it was ready and as I was about to give my name I was rudely interrupted and was told everything was ready. I go into the floral department and they don't have my order. They are still being rude to me while looking for it. I ended up having to buy a premade one that didn't look as nice. very disappointed.

My husband and I went to Wegman Hanover NJ for small grocery shopping. Eventhough the cashier “Cheryn” had finished the transaction with the customer in front us, she was still with him on his phone. Cheryn did not even acknowledge us that we were waiting. We waited for about 5 minutes, before my husband said to them that we have been waiting. The mail customer said a nasty remark that we didn’t have patience and can’t even wait for two minutes and added we were terrible people. By the way my husband is a 75 year old Hispanic and I’m an 72 year old Asian, and the cashier, Cheryn and the male customer in his 40’s are both White. He questioned my husband if he is Cuban. I responded to him that was none of his business. He looked at me in disgust and told me that I was very ugly three times, and continued telling us we were terrible people at least five times. Meanwhile Cheryn told me that was enough but didn’t say anything to the man. We were so stunned and humiliated by their insults and disrespect. While we were paying I mentioned to Cheryn that she should had acknowledged that we were waiting. Instead of apologizing she dismissed us and said she didn’t want the customer next to us to wait and so she just want us to get out of there. My husband and I are still traumatize by the insults and disrespect we experienced by Wegman’s customer and cashier. We have never been treated like this before in our life. I don’t think we will come back to Wegman again.

I’m a regular customer at wegmans, love the store, great employees, food always fresh, I have been to many different locations. They never fail to please. But today I felt that I was racially profiled. ( I am an African American older woman )
Went through self checkout line I was the only one checking out on that specific side. There were other customers checking out in the other self checkout line on the other side. The employee came and stood directly in front of me as though she thought I was not going to scan all of my groceries mind you in the past there have been times when I overlooked scanning an item and made it a point to take the item back into the store in order to pay for it. I’m not the one to steal, Felt very disrespected. I’m sure over the past years I’ve spent thousands of dollars at wegmans. Not a good feeling and disappointing. I did watch for a while to see if anyone else was watched, but after I was all checked out the employee who was watching me walked away. I’m an honest person. So while she was watching me someone was probably stealing.

Received watermelon that was way too ripe on the bottom with recently cut pieces on the top. Will end up throwing away most. Also, within 5 minutes of receiving the delivery, some company was soliciting me on the exact line as the Wegman’s delivery person. Did the sell my number???

The owner of wegmans may have bought their rating on Forbes list. Besides it being a grocery store with a lot of fancy bells and whistles meant to distract you. They fall short when it really matters. They have multiple locations filled with “bullies” as coworkers. I’ve spoken to multiple workers all throughout the DMV speak so passionately about how they had to transfer stores because the harassment was so bad and instead of HR and management getting rid of the harassers and helping the one who is trusting them to do the right thing they either fire the good workers or just transfer them. Leaving the bullies to continue their reign of terror on whoever they deem necessary.

This is a huge problem for me because there is no way a store on Forbes List can be so dismissive of their workers. I went to one location and met 2 really nice girls who never gave me any issues always helped customers find what we needed kept the store clean and I never saw them talking to other coworkers. I asked them why and they shared with me that there is this girl named Shaniece Johnson at their location (Carlyle) that along with her department, Self Checkout, Pricing, and some Front End Coordinators bully them and look at them as the problem whenever they stand up against these bullies.

At the end of the day I say all that to say this, if you are thinking about working at Wegmans and you are the type of person who stays to themselves and gets the work done you are at risk of being put into a toxic work environment and I do not recommend working at wegmans. Your children shouldn’t work there. With everything going on in the world today life is short and you shouldn’t spend it working somewhere where management cares less about your happiness and will allow your coworkers whom they can “at will” get rid of but never do from what I’ve heard and witnessed as a customer to treat you any type of way and have a suck it up attitude or a you have to go attitude with you. IT’S NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.

I’ve never seen those sweet girls ever again and they were great workers one kept the store cleaned I always knew when she was working because she kept the bathrooms in excellent condition as a flight attendant I’ve seen a lot of nasty bathrooms, now the bathrooms are always dirty there stuff gets hidden everywhere in there hair and pee is always on the toilet when I go to use it. The other sweet girl would help me out whenever I went to self checkout and would make me smile and laugh despite my rough days and these are the people wegmans gets rid of. You can bet money that Shaniece and her bully buddies are still at the Carlyle location and bullies just like her are at the other locations in the area I know them by name too. I’ve only mentioned this young ladies name because I’ve witness how nasty and hateful she is towards her coworkers and she needs to be fired. I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to notice and speak up on it. That day me and 2 other customers talked about how terrible it was to see how she treated that young lady. Every time I see Shaniece and her other toxic friends that work there I turn around and don’t even shop there and I have encouraged others to do the same as well.

The toxic work environments needs to stop. I’m not sure if the one young lady took her life or not but she hinted at it last time I spoke with her she looked so hurt and defeated! You never know what someone has went through in life to get to where they are now. You never know what someone is internally battling. That’s why I’m so passionate about this because you should never allow something so damaging to go on and be on Forbes list and continue to keep the wrong people there.

I witnessed everything on February 20, 2023, I’m not sure why it won’t let me select it. That was the last day I saw the sweet young lady.

I recently purchased ground hamburger meat and it was not good. Whoever was doing the processing must have ground in a lot of bone cartilage. Could not finish the burger, kept biting into hard chunks of non edible parts.
On another topic, what is the deal making me pay for worthless paper bags? I won’t get into the weeds on the energy cost and environmental destruction to make a paper bag vs a plastic bag, don’t get me started. The upside for me is I’m limited to purchasing only the items I can loosely fit into one bag. The idea I should take my own bags into a store to tote out the items I purchase seems ridiculous.

Just stopped by for lunch. Paid over $20.00 for lunch. They now want 5 cents for a bag. Come on, you don't need to nickel and dime your customers.

Stop with the pop-ups; if I want to buy your chicken wings, I'll order them. Every time I click on one item on your site, the chicken wing ad pops up - MAKE IT STOP; it is out of control!

I addressed this issue to wegmans directly and they did nothing in return. There was maggots in the broccoli cheddar soup from the hot section of the market. I submitted the photo on google as well under google reviews. It’s actually horrific, the customer service rep told me a gift card was being sent since November that never came she claimed it got lost in the mail not once but twice … impossible I think she is pocketing the gift cards and scamming the company. I have told multiple people and passed around the photo truly horrendous

I bought 2 of wegmans prepared Italian Wedding Soup in plastic containers. The soup was just awful! And soo expensive.

I have been a Wegmans Customer for about 10 years now and I regularly shop there once a week. The first five years that I went there, I used to get brochures in the mail with many coupons that saved me at least $25 every week. Then those started getting fewer and fewer, and the coupons were getting down to about three or four dollars, until they stopped altogether. But of course inflation set in and prices went up with it, I didn’t blame the supermarket. Now the latest thing that they do is they don’t have any large sizes of anything except for their own brands. I don’t know always like their stuff. And now the latest is, they do not give you any plastic bags with your paper bags to support the paper bag any longer. The paper bag is not strong enough to support your stuff at all. On top of that, there’s a 5 cent charge for every paper bag you use, forcing you to buy their plastic carry bags. I always recycled those plastic bags and paper bags. The paper bags we use for garbage, and the plastic was recycled. Now I really don’t wanna go back to that supermarket, because I need my bags for my garbage. Not only that, but I can’t buy grain fed beef there anymore. Everything is grass fed, and I’m not fond of grass fed beef. These are things that need improvement. Needless to say, I’m not really sure I wanna go back. I think Whole Foods is looking better and better all the time. Sorry Wegmans.

This is in regard to the mechanicsburg location. As they have done away with complimentary bags, I took 4 adtic bags. I get to the checkout and cashier says "I see you have your own bags." She proceeded to check me out and place items on the counter, no move to bag my groceries. I proceeded to bag my stuff and said "so you longer provide bags and customer has to bag their own stuff." By this time I was almost done bagging my stuff. All the while, there were people lined up behind me and the cashier was on her cell phone! So disappointed in wegmans!

Bought a sub at the Ithaca Wegmans today. Lets say to be gentle it was a total rip off. Large assorted sub, 2 slices of cheese total, and 2 each of the meat (ie 2 slices of roast beef, 2 slices of turkey and two slices of ham) all for the low low price of 14.99. Also asked for italian on the side and was given one small packet of dressing for a large sub. I understand inflation is through the roof, but paying that kind of price for that product is assinine. Don't buy Wegmans prepared food is my recommendation.

Wegmans. What happened? USED to be great, now so-so and below. But still OVERPRICED. I purchased a LARGE sub sandwich yesterday. These was 2 slices off cheese total on the large sub! And 4 ounces on meat. Don't believe me? ask the sub maker how much they put on. Every slice is measured. W T F they charge top dollar and give sub standard product now. It did NOT used to be like that. Sad. Wegmans has gone money hungry :(

We recently purchased and tried the Wegman's brand of organic breakfast chicken sausage. Were it not for the title we would not have known what we were eating. Bland all the way to tasteless. We have noticed that Wegman's seems to be implementing a process of removing other brands and then stiocking the shelves with Wegman's brands alone. Often these new items can be disappointing. This has led to us shopping elsewhere. It is a bad strategy to increase your profit margin by turning off your loyal customers.

So unfortunately if you have like Autism or some other mental or psychological disability or anything else, they won’t help you out. Whistleblowers they don’t like and management will make your life hell and eventually even fire you. I was lied to several times by management, was followed, stalked, and almost didn’t receive my accommodations in order to perform my job properly. They were going to put me in dishwasher but that was a slap in the face. I could even give you the names of the people that would throw out an autistic person out a job and lose weeks of pay due to me speaking up for my rights but I won’t do so because that’s not ok.

One third of my 15 items weren't delivered. That is inexcusable. Wegman's thinks it's OK because they will refund my money in 5-10 days.

Hey Wegman's, four of the five items you neglected to deliver were the reason why I shopped at Wegmans. Everyone I know loves Wegmans. Sadly, your delivery people suck. There's a reason Acme fired InstaCart.

I don’t like shopping here customers are disrespectful, in hurry I had customer beeping at me pull in plaza fast that person was shopping at wegmans., it’s always crowded and most importantly expensive.,

Received gift card two years ago order pizza there pizza sucks it’s thin crunchy taste like card board, and pizza sauce they put on pizzas it’s not pizza sauce it’s salsa like runny thin pizza sauce is thick not thin runny off pizza., and there bbq sauce sucks ask for bbq sauce on sub it’s runny ketchup sticky like bbq sauce is not runny goes drip drip and there subs suck more bread less meat they closed sub I saw no meat on sub it was all bread there chicken fingers are dry tasting give cotton mouth.,

You want good thick sub for cheaper price with meat showing in middle go to subway, tops markets there subs are better and cheaper and thicker
