Tried to checkout with a bottle of alchohol and they asked to see the ID of EVERYONE I was shopping with.

Since when do you need to see 5 IDs for 1 person to buy alcohol? Since the employees and the rules are stupid beyond comprehension they turned a regular pleasant experience into a nightmare and we had to shop somewhere else.

If you value your sanity, time and energy shop somewhere else. You will be harrassed by employees for nothing if you shop here.

Best place to get your fresh produce and best bakery products.

Wegmans in Charlottesville Virginia has some of the most uncaring workers around, I use to shop there all the time, until I walked out and found four workers Laughing looking at my car I found a note saying the very rude f-word on my window, I showed the note to the store management and got no place there, I then called the police to report it and got sorry we can't do anything about it there too, then the store main office called and a management person said we have the video tape but because the parking lot is not owned by wegmans we can't do anything about it, then I asked to see the video, they said I can't see the video, Why? I ask? Then I got more red tape talk. and that is why I have stop going to Wegmans in Charlottesville Virginia.

I cannot believe the number of poor reviews posted here. There are several Wegmans stores where I live, and I shop at 2 of them...regularly. Their staff renders the BEST customer service anywhere, yes, better than Trader Joe's, where I shop occasionally for 3-4 products only. I always feel welcomed at Wegmans. To those who complain...Stop whining and appreciate what we have. You could have been born in Burma!

I have been a Wegie girl for a long time now! Today simply confirmed how happy I am with their customer service. I have never left a comment anywhere about products but today 8 feel compelled to do so. In total, there were 3 items I couldn’t seem to find. Two in produce and the gentleman who was busy working there took time to look around with me to find what my items, and when he couldn’t find them, asked me to wait a moment while he checked the back… and voila, came back to me with a smile and a few boxes of the items I was searching for. He was immediately going to shelve them too.
Then I was walking in the seafood department and asked a young guy behind the counter tee a question about an item « not related » to his department. He asked his colleague and that man told me they were out but foe me to hang in so he could check of the delivery truck had arrived yet. And voila! He came out with my item!! All with smiles and hopes to fulfill my search! I love Wegmans!!!

I am a highly qualified candidate for the position I applied for but I always say what is meant to be will be. I would probably be better off that I was not selected as a candidate the interviewer I spoke with I believe was not very qualified. She was like a robot she sounded like a snob was not down to earth or no bedside manner I just wanted make you aware of this thank you for your time

This is about the Wegmans on Niagara Falls blvd. The cantaloupes were rotten and they wanted $2.99 for them!

I shopped at a Raleigh NC Wegmans and happily found some foods from the north. It was a pleasant experience and I had a very good burger there, but the store is far from my home. A store opened a little closer to me in Wake Forest NC, so I decided to try it out. I found that the brands I found at the Raleigh store were no longer carried by Wegmans. That is reasonable as they need to cater to local customers. However, it is not reasonable when a 67 year women is purchasing wine, for her to be confronted by a rude “manager” and told that she has to follow the rules and go to her car to get her ID. It turned out that the “manager” was a front end manager and I asked for store manager. Another “manager” arrived and told me that it is uncomfortable for them to ask, but we have to follow the rules. I asked again if she was the store manager and she said that she is an assistant manager and the store manager is not there today because he needs to spend time with his family. This is a most ridiculous situation that disrespects customers by setting asinine “rules,” and tag lines to say to customers. It makes for ex customers; like me. BTW, the burger was NOT good in Wake Forest—greasy mess with the wrong toppings and grease saturated bun.

This is about the Wegmans Organic Chicken Noodle Soup. It is a bug disappointment! It contains chicken that is very tough! Does not show good quality! Apparently it is chicken that is put through some grinding process and then appears to get pressed so that it looks like pieces of Chicken. But it doesn't even taste like chicken. It's more like pieces of wood!

Great Customer Service. My only complaint is the prepare Grilled Chicken. It was NOT chicken as I use to get from Weg. it was like clay. It had no texture, no taste. It was disgusting. The seasoning was great but it was NOT chicken. I called to tell the butcher and they said they'd refund me (appreciated). I believe they switched from a more expensive ie Tyson to a cheap brand. I wouldn't even give it to my dog. They were very nice but I will not buy or eat their prepared meats anymore. I hope this is heard by Corporate, they will lose alot of $$$ if they cut corners on quality. Aug 8th, 2021

The crostatas - apple, strawberry rhubarb, and peach - are perhaps the finest baked goods to be found anywhere on earth today. Bravo to the bakers who have created magic. I eat a quarter of a crostata every single day and for some strange reason, I've even lost a little weight! But it's the unique taste that makes this the best "pie" I have ever had - the fruit, combined with an unbelievably delicious crust, a hint of almond, well, I could go on and on. Please make the crostatas a permanent part of your lineup. For me, they even beat out the exceedingly yummy chocolate cake and carrot cake, and that is saying a lot because I love those, too!! Great job, Wegmans!

Wonderful grocery store chain! I’ve shopped at many Wegmans stores over the years (I live in Rochester, NY, their home town), in several cities, and they’re all great. And their prices are a lot more reasonable than our local competition. A their produce cannot be beat, even Trader Joe’s!

I visited Wegmans in Erie, PA May 29 2021 I had a fresh sub made and asked for extra meat while she was making it she asked if I would like extra cheese I said ok, I live 60 miles away and when I got home I didn't get extra meat or extra cheese and paid for both, what am I supposed to do?

It is always a pleasure to shop at Wegmans. It has a very wide variety of high-quality groceries including health foods, and reasonable prices. They did an excellent job during the Covid-19 pandemic of keeping customers and workers safe. This relates to the Wilkes-Barre Township (Highland Blvd.) store.

I miss Craig at the Geneseo NY store. He was always so helpful and present in the aisles. The 20 somethings don't look around to see if they can help. You have to hunt them down. And then the google and tell you what aisle to go to. When you tell them you've been there already they just give you that deer in the headlight stare. Miss Craig.

I took an order that totaled $180. I paid an additional 12.95, 5.50 and 10 dollars in additional fees. I thought that was too high but my husband said it was worth it to avoid a crowded market.
I chose not to allow substitutes since I could not select acceptable subs (e.g. Whole Foods). Allowing a stranger to select items for me was unappealing.
The order was delivered and the cost of the food was $140 since their stock was low. But the other charges remained the same; I paid 20% of the order to have it delivered.
As I scrolled down I saw something I had missed. Food delivered costs 15% more than food purchased in the store. That means I didn't have $140 worth of food, I had $119 worth of food.
SO, I paid $28.45 to have $119 of food delivered. And I think I can say without exaggerating, they are price gouging during a pandemic.

I placed an order on the Wegmans web site and they subbed out the delivery to Instacart. When the delivery didn’t make it to my door but they claimed it did, Wegmans wanted nothing to do with it even thou they received my money for the transaction.
Gentlemen that answered the phone at Wegmans Westwood was completely useless.....didn’t want to help. Extremely poor customer service after the sale. Won’t use them again and will tell many others to avoid them as well.

Good store with honest and good intentions. They're always upgrading/adding to their health-oriented products to reflect the latest nutrition research. Wegman's brand quality is good. Prices are good for food AND non-foods items unlike other supermarkets who make profits on non-foods items.
Two complaints: For having a health oriented mindset and previously being fruit and vegetable company, their fresh/loose ORGANIC produce section is severely lacking with regards to freshness and selection with the exception of their prepackaged /prewashed veggies. For the store overall, they have sporadic issues getting certain items in stock. You'll see holes in shelves for weeks. Still however, my favorite store.

Easy online ordering with 2 hour window of delivery.

In these times it’s hard enough trying to navigate ...not our usual everyday routines much less going to a public store without worry.. These past 8 months I have .. like everyone else get most things delivered.the services are all good ..Whole Foods...Walmart.. but .. my last couple of transactions at Wegmans/ instacart has been exceptional.. they follow delivery instructions and keep you updated throughout the process..
