Great service from initial contact until work completed. A rat problem was traced to a broken sewer in the garden. The team, Ben Cartmell & Martin Lye, were excellent. From lifting my patio, digging... See more

Returning from holiday last week we discovered the previously dry stream at the end of our garden was full of raw sewage. Neighbours had contacted Wessex Water and were visited by a member of staff who decided it was surface water running off the field, and there was nothing he could do. The 5 stars definitely do not apply to this employee. However, on Tuesday 18th September, Will and his team turned up,and couldn't have been more efficient and helpful. The problem was a blockage in the sewer coming from the new Taylor Wimpey estate, consisting of building materials. Will kept us informed at all times, arranged for the stream to be cleared and the field cleaned. He and his team were on site for a few days and were polite and professional throughout.

We had a sewage/waste water blockage at the boundary of our house which we partially dealt with ourselves. Wessex Water came out within 5 hours to check on their end of the problem & sorted it there & then. The engineer was pleasant & polite & carried out the work with a minimum of fuss.

The tech phoned with an appointment time, turned up on time and was very polite. He listened to all that I told him and examined all points noting the partially blocked foul sewer which he cleared and tested for leaks in the rainwater drain, which was sound. He gave his opinion for the back filling of the hole around the drain and marked the incorrect inspection cover which he reported for replacement . Excellent work, unhurried and professional in his manner. Roger Sutton

I reported a broken manhole and it was replaced on the same day. They also replaced another 2 manholes on our property that were old and damaged. Dave & Josh were really good and went above and beyond. Job number - 6638442

After receiving 4 unsolicited texts giving tips on saving water, a ban arrives and no communication. I had to be informed by a friend who watches the BBC - I do not.
Do better for your customers and that includes hitting your water loss targets - you didn't @ 20% loss - and not awarding your CEO a 14% pay rise - against govt., advice but due to 'market realignment'; with bonuses £791,000.

Denying us access to water whilst they take bonuses. Dishonest and irresponsible.

Very good repair completed by Sherborne Utilities. I had a wait for the job to be initially inspected. I only knocked a star off as my job number wasn't recognised on the app and my job was not showing on the map either. I made a phone call in to check the job had not been forgotten.

No water for 36 hours. No communication from WW. Pressure is often low but no one is any the wiser to why.

Charging huge amounts each month to costumers but nit seeming to put anything back into to renew, replace and upgrade. The money should go back into maintenance of the system not on boosting someone's private bank balance. That is how it feels as a customer. Reported leak one week later still not been to site, yet I'm told to conserve the water I'm using at home.

The engineer was incredibly accommodating, prompt, courteous and competent. As ever, I cannot fault Wessex Water for service.

Writing this on behalf of the support home I work for-we had a leak at the home and Ollie and Wayne turned up-staff have informed me they were very friendly, dealt with the leak promptly-they were mindful of the needs of the people we support-five stars all day long!

I complained and only gave wessex water a 1 star after complaining about all the leaks in the upton /hamworthy area. They replied to me and told me . They were aware of 2 of the leaks ,but not aware of the rest. Then they would look into to the rest. Ive gone from 1 star to five because in the last 3 weeks they have repaired all of the leaks I complained about and more in the area. I must admit I am very impressed with wessex water. Well done to you all ,working in this immense heat you have to endure this summer . Also we'll do e to all admin as well 🫴
