Four months waiting

Four months waiting, no car, no date, no communication.

I ordered an OMODA SHS Self Charge from the New Malden, London dealership in April 2026 (4 months ago). At the time of deposit, the sales executive was very helpful and professional. He checked with his manager, and they both confirmed a maximum 3-month delivery timeframe. I specifically arranged to hand back my previous car based on that promise.

Fast forward 4 months – I have received zero updates. No calls, no emails, no letters. Nothing.

Today I called to check if I could collect this week, only to be told:

The car has not even been allocated to me yet.

They cannot give any estimated delivery date – not even a rough one.

When I pressed, they said it could be "2 months, 3 months, or longer".

What angers me most is that they are still taking deposits from new customers right now, despite knowing there is a shortage. That means they are deliberately taking people's money with no intention of giving a realistic timeline.

Because of this, I am now without a car and forced to spend hours daily on public transport to get to work – a direct consequence of their broken promise.

I had a similar issue with MG previously, so this is now a pattern I cannot ignore. I would strongly advise anyone considering OMODA to think twice – or at least demand a written, legally binding delivery date before handing over a penny.

Crooks and thieves

Crooks and thieves. Please do not buy the cars from them. You will end up with massive repairs bills for the hidden faults and painful legal process.

My Range Rover Evoque broke down

My Range Rover Evoque broke down, and I decided to take it to the official service. Unfortunately, what started as a £192 diagnostic fee gradually increased step by step—first to £1,077, then with an additional £1,333—reaching a total of £2,700.

I collected my car, but just two days later it went back to the same condition and is no longer working. This feels like a company that not only causes inconvenience but also tries to charge more money again. Please stay away. Once you go there, you really regret it.
