Avoid

Purchased a car for 7000. After leaving the dealership and returning to my house the car overheated.
I called Westside autos over 100 times with no response or call back.
I rejected the car under the consumers right act and told them to recover the car via email.
They ignored my phone calls for 2/3weeks.

After issuing a email stating that I was going to be taking legal action the said they would collect the vehicle and issue me a refund. I took 2 days off work and they let me down both times. 3rd time lucky they collected the car and issues me a refund. All in all took 3 weeks to get car collected and money returned.
Do not use this company.
Probably the worst company I have ever had to deal with.
AVOID like the plague

Dodgy, avoid at all costs!!!

Financed a vehicle from this dealership through a broker.

Started badly, car was registered as Motability. Fine, easy enough fix. Car then threw up faults within the first week of ownership. Bad brakes, non-functioning reversing sensors, then the turbo dies.

Independant mechanic declared it as unsatisfactory and I rejected the car based on Consumer Rights.
Instead of doing the right thing, the dealership immediately went dark and wouldn’t cooperate with me or the broker, claiming there’s nothing wrong with the car, not picking up calls etc.

8 weeks later and still no resolution from the dealership. I’m not the only one in this position with the broker, and they’re not the only broker dealing with this!

Disgusting behaviour. This is why no one trusts dealerships and the second hand car market is full of scrap!!

Reported to trading standards - Dangerous, Keep away

Seemed OK until the sale was completed.
The car was handed over with 1 key missing (paperwork shows there were two keys when the dealer bought the car). The key handed over was falling to bits, when I informed my finance broker of this the dealership denied all knowledge and said the key was perfectly fine.
Pick up was also delayed as the car was “being serviced”. Within one week the oil light appeared on the dashboards. On checking the vehicle the car was completely empty of oil. The car was put into an independent garage who informed me the engine will need to be completely rebuilt and the dealer would have known that when they sold it to me. I have rejected the car in line with my consumer rights but the garage are not returning calls and pretending this is not happening despite having a legal obligation to do so. The website also gives the impression they are a reputable dealer with a good location. However in truth they own a piece of muddy land with a port-a-cabin down a dark unpaved road and use a virtual office with a good location.
If you cross reference the reviews on their website with the actual reviews on google you will also see that every single one is fake. Avoid these cowboys at all costs, I have reported them to trading standards.

Avoid avoid avoid

My last review was removed for some reason.

Avoid this company at all costs.

I bought a Mercedes B class from them. It quickly became clear it was not as advertised.

After getting nowhere with the company about the issues (advertised as having Full Service history when in fact there was none whatsoever, a DAB radio which was untrue and a hole in the fuel tank meaning petrol splashing on my feet when I first refilled) I requested a refund under the Consumer Rights Act, which was ignored. Therefore, I took legal action.

Fast forward to March 2026 and there is a hearing at Croydon County Court next week to resolve this.

Please do not deal with this company. Their warranty is also not worth the paper it’s written on

Awful Customer Service

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the appalling customer service I have experienced with your dealership. Initially, I enquired about a car when it was first listed and was assured that I would receive a call back. Unfortunately, this promise was not kept. I followed up with a message, only to be met with the same empty assurance, yet still no response.

When I resorted to calling for the third time, I was finally provided with the boss, Adil’s, number. I messaged him as well, but once again, there was no reply. After a week of persistent attempts to get a response, I called one final time, only to be informed that the car had been sold. This lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable and has left me extremely frustrated. I expect a prompt explanation.
