getting worse started out 13 months ago, now sales are down to 50%, people are looking for freebies in and out in 1 sec, trolling, we have new items, our setups are all organised, we offer nice deals etc. really disgusted, and to mention we have a variety of different items

Since leaving my original review, the situation has worsened significantly.

Whatnot have now blocked my account entirely, preventing me from accessing my own purchase history. This is highly concerning given that I have ongoing disputes relating to those transactions. I have formally requested access to this data multiple times, yet these requests have been ignored.

I have also repeatedly asked for a response to several substantive issues, including:

- The gambling-related concerns I raised regarding “breaks”, randomised spins, and buyer-linked giveaways.

- The fact that buyer giveaways requiring payment for entry, alongside chance-based mechanisms such as spins, appear to fall within UK gambling definitions

- Why they believe UK consumer protection laws do not apply to these transactions

- Why transactions continue to be facilitated despite clear and repeated concerns being raised

- To date, there has been no response to any of these points.

- The complete lack of engagement, combined with restricting access to my own data, raises serious questions around compliance with both consumer protection and data protection obligations in the UK.

At this stage, I believe accountability is required. I would strongly encourage other UK consumers who have had similar experiences to consider taking collective action. I am exploring options to bring affected individuals together with a view to pursuing this formally, and will be looking to raise wider awareness in the coming weeks.

The platform is easy to sell on with a little trial and error.

i love this app and the communities most sellers have formed most everyone is so genuine. the only thing i cannot express enough is the latest app change i can no longer swipe left and get rid of the auction buy bid portion that i cannot stand accidental bids happen and when very few will cancel an order that was a safe spot for me to listen watch and not worry about any type of accidental purchase
change it back to the old way😘

This app is absolutely amazing even tho I end up broke most of the time the products are good quality and many vendors auctioning different items I love it and the shipping is one fast and product is delivered sooner then estimated arrival date

Customer Service asked for a review on there help they gave so i said unsatifacty. Then I thought it would ask why but it said the ticket was now closed. So I couldnt explain why. I still dont undrrstand why as a byer they would think i had access to the sellers proof of payment for postage? I think its another way of a customer not getting a refund like asking for an order number. There is order id. Please tell me where the order no is. But they would not except ordrr id either. So I lost out on a refund.

Avoid the seller Candy chaos they took £40 off me before easter after I placed an order for 7 bags of sweets. I contacted them the next week for an update as they were meant to be easter gifts. Well they never arrived not for 2 weeks. My delivery came and the order was completely wrong and I was missing 3 other bags. Seller refused to fulfill my order and said I needed to contact whatnot for a refund and it took a week for whatnot customer service to say I needed to send the sweets back which is impossible because my children have eaten them. They refused to refund me any of the money so I was conned out of £20 and its disgusting customer service I am a single mother and money isn't easy for us. Its ruined the easter holidays for my children. I tried to reach out to the seller while he was on live streaming selling more sweets and I was called rude for asking for someone to contact me after I didnt receive the correct order. Never in my life have I been treated like this by a seller. Its a real shame because alot of sellers on whatnot are amazing and always sort out the orders if there are issues. Ive now been blocked by the seller Candy Chaos after he ripped me off and he also owns the stream for wagpack which sells dog treats and stuff. I LOVED WHATNOT BEFORE THIS BUT THIS EXPERIENCE HAS MADE ME NOT TRUST OTHER SELLERS SO I WILL BE DELETING THE APP AS OF TODAY.

I love everything about Whatnot except for the form fillers. I don’t even care that they are getting the giveaways but it disrupts the entire show. Almost everyone in the show can tell when a form filler wins. The whole chat gets upset and it ruins the experience. You guys really need to come up with a solution to this problem. The giveaways are a great idea because they keep people engaged but there has to be a creative way to fix this issue. Please find it! If you do, you deserve a 5 star review.

Absolutely the ultimate experience and the most fast-paced auctions I’ve ever been through

Whatnot has been a blast since I joined just 2 months ago. Being able to interact with others who have the same passions and hobbies that you do while shopping for great products is great. Speaking of products, you can find so much of it here, at a good price and quite a variety of it across so many different categories. You would think this would be terribly complicated but honestly, from the moment you open the app till the moment you receive your purchase, Whatnot makes the whole experience easy. Whatnot is like a cross between Ebay & Twitch... if they had a baby but way more fun!!!

its been a few very sketchy vendors so far. but we have found a few good ones as well. We love the experience provided. However the product Received doesn't always match the Quality of the items shown
