Great variety of products, from food to toys to electronics and cards. Great opportunities to make real bargains. Made quite a few really great ones. The only negative is that it gets addictive. ☺️

Keep getting the same advertisement shown to me over and over again! I’ve reported this multiple times! It’s the same advertisement shown multiple times a day! Absolutely disgusting behaviour! I don’t care about your company! Stop trying to shove it down throat! Avoid at all costs!

I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before using Whatnot.

My experience has been consistently poor when it comes to buyer protection. I’ve received multiple items that were heavily soiled, damaged, or simply not as described — in some cases not even wearable or resellable. Despite this, my refund requests were automatically rejected, often with no meaningful explanation.

What’s particularly concerning is that decisions appear to be based on “refund history” rather than the actual condition of the items. In other words, even when you provide clear evidence (photos, descriptions), your claim can still be denied without proper review.

Customer support repeatedly directs you back to the same process, but that process doesn’t function in a fair or transparent way. Once they’ve made a decision, they label it “final” and refuse to engage further, regardless of the evidence. I’ve had 2 past refunds for defective goods in 10 months, which I provided all evidence of, so hardly ‘abusing’ the system.

To make matters worse, I’ve now been warned that continuing to raise disputes through my bank — which is a standard consumer right when goods are faulty — could result in my account being restricted or banned.

So to summarise:
- Faulty or misrepresented items are not being properly addressed
- Evidence submitted by buyers is not meaningfully considered
- Claims can be rejected based on account history rather than facts
- Buyers are discouraged from using legitimate chargeback protections

This creates a situation where buyers carry all the risk, while sellers face very little accountability.

I wanted to resolve issues directly with Whatnot, but the system simply doesn’t allow for fair outcomes. I’ve had to rely on my bank to recover money for items that were clearly not as described. They won’t even allow you to go through a complaints process!

Until Whatnot improves how it handles legitimate refund claims and treats buyers fairly, I cannot recommend using this platform.

Lots of different shows for different budgets, and I’ve had a good outcome on all of my purchases after delivery!

Horrible customer service! They don’t care if your packages come damaged and your missing items! I’m having to dispute charges on my card and I thought this site was good because I have found some good deals but their customer service has ruined my experience! Horrible experience

Whatnot is a great app. Whether you want to get some cheap trading cards, some new HotWheels, or just some cool snacks Whatnot has it all and everything in between. The community is nice and the live auctions make it all better. Whatnot also doesn't just sell cheap things either, some items sell for thousands of dollars and it also very easy for someone to start selling themselves. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, awesome.

Good items for the most part,sometimes high quality sometimes middle of the road,and some lower end. Something for all. The only criticism I have of the platform is when sellers post a show at a time schedule and then they don't start their show for 10 or more minutes later,sometimes not at all. I think this should reflect on their status of a seller. Buyers ti.e is as valuable as the sellers time. But very pleased as a whole of the site and how it's run.

Great products , great price

Pretty responsive to issues with sellers. However, they ask for information when it was already provided in my original request. Do they not read our requests before responding? Would like to be able to submit seller reviews on my PC. Hate typing on my phone. Would also like a way I can contact them with suggestions to improve platform.

The bidding is easy good experience so far for me. Only reason not getting a 5 stars is because of the shipping cost let the seller pick the shipping cost. Plus shouldn’t have to pay more than once for shipping if you buy multiple things from one seller!!
