I like the model of small investments in different casks. I've also interacted by phone with Charlie, who has been very professional and helpful.

After a quick tutorial on how to buy/sell I made several orders and all went smoothly. It allows me to diversify my investments in the Spirits industry with a clear view of the price and fees. I recommend it.

Have invested using WID since the start, never thought of it as a ‘get rich quick scheme’ rather as a sensible form of diversification. If you know something about whisky I’m sure it would help, I don’t and I do not feel disadvantaged. The ability to hold a range of whiskies at any one time is great and the diversification that results increases the probability of useful gains and reduces risk. Underlying the whole thing is a real expectation that whisky is a potentially sound investment with a probability of being a hedge against inflation; as such it is, in my opinion, a sensible place to invest cash. This is especially true when taking into account the ability to rapidly trade your holdings and release cash. I see it as a minimum 5-10 year investment strategy.

I have used this platform for years. There appears to be an influx of new investors to the platform causing problems which are not being addressed. It is near impossible for the platform to fill a substantial bid (say 100LPA+) due to the number of bidders.

How can you sell an investment tool if you cant even get past the on-ramp? The staff at WID need to get more distilleries on board and look at Ireland and Japan. Its turning into a waste of time.

Delighted on doing business with WDI. They are very professional and always provide up to date information about opportunities in rhe whisky market. Small hiccup when transferring cash to my account but the law is very strict with respect to money laundering issues and at the end it does benefit everyone.

very low revernue around 1.3 per cent per year... and then with their fees to hold the whiskey plus the fee to withdraw money ... happy they make me not to pay for their own profit... closest to scam that I have seen

I had to change my bank link because I moved to another country.
The representative was very efficient, helpful and polite: 100% satisfied.
However, their policy to change the bank is complicated. I hope they can come up a little easier way to do so...

Very efficient and safe way to invest in Whisky.

To be honest, my validation experience with WhiskyInvestDirect was quite complicated. But i think that is pretty much up to the laws they have to follow to act transparent and legal. Seen from that perspective, they couldn´t have made it much easier for me to validate my transferwise account and the support through mrs Tedde was excellent.

Excellent service, great support team that helped me very carefully through complicated procedures and even reduced my fees! Fantastic work!

Thank you for quickly resolving the issue of transferring funds. The service is very good and easy to understand in different languages. I propose to supplement the agreements between the client and WhiskyInvestDirect with an investment agreement. This formality will simplify transfers for clients from countries such as Russia. Since local credit organizations in Russia require a copy of the contract to make the transfer. Thank you for your cooperation.
