Order and delivery of Hotpoint compact dishwasher
Whitebox offered by far the best price for a Hotpoint compact dishwasher. Ordered on price and being in stock. However website was incorrect as item was not in stock and we had to wait for delivery about 6 days before delivery directly from Hotpoint. Communication cannot be faulted and we were advised at all times when to expect delivery. Would use Whitebox again but would confirm availability before ordering

Great Customer service. (When I placed my order I was informed the next day that there would be a delay due to stock unavailability, and offered an immediate refund. I declined this and within 3 days I was contacted to arrange a 2 hour delivery slot at my convenience.) Cheapest price, free delivery. What more could you ask when buying online

Truthful & reliable
I ordered a dishwasher and was immediately contacted to be told that there was a delay on delivery so if I wanted to change the order or have a refund they would be happy to do so. They gave me a tentative delivery date which I accepted. The delivery will now be 4 days earlier than their predicted date. I was happy to wait and was pleased with their honesty and am even more than pleased with their reliability. Thank you Whitebox.

I am happy with the purchase. The delivery was quick. Firstly the washing machine was out of stock but White box customer services kept me informed when this can be delivered and it delivered before the expected date. Whitebox processes, people and ethics are strong. I was very happy with the way the recurring stock problems were handled by them. It would have been better to know there was no stock up front…. but given what occurred it was very well handled by empowered smart people

I bought an oven on whitebox because the estimated delivery date fitted in with the dates my oven was to be fitted. I did not receive any communication from Whitebox so 5 days after ordering I emailed and was advised my order was out of stock and it would be another 7-10 days. I emailed again later to chase this up but still no oven. I had to cancel my order and money was credited back to me. Whitebox were very apologetic and did tell me that the problem was with the supplier but this did not mean that I got what I paid for on time so unfortunately I would not use whitebox again.

Thank you for taking time to write the review and please accept our apologies for not being able to get the appliance you wanted quickly enough. When there is any problem with stock availability and we are unable to make the delivery estimate, we get in touch as quickly as we can; if there are suitable alternatives we make these known and so on. We try and make it as painless as possible if we aren’t able to deliver quickly enough (we don’t take payment until delivery is made, taking a pre-authorisation of payment with order but not actually taking money at that stage) and obviously to give people the earliest possible news to allow them to cancel or find alternatives. We did get back within a couple of working hours albeit over a bank holiday weekend although we understand it was with news we’d rather not have been giving; we do tell it as it is as quickly as we can. Unfortunately, in your case the stock was further delayed by a few days, which, again, we let you know as soon as we did. We understand how frustrating this must have been. We can only apologise once again; we will continue to say it as it is as quickly as we can whilst striving to improve and reduce the number of times we have to say sorry we can’t deliver ‘on-time’.
