We have bought from Wholesale carpets before and had an excellent experience. We bought a hessian stair runner and it lasted six years. Mostly because we are a child fostering family and the wear is higher than most households. This time we bought the wool stair runner as we converted our loft space. Wanting the two sets of stairs to look the same. The service from purchase to delivery is perfect. You are kept informed at every step and can choose the binding colour.

Such a wonderful personal service from Julian and the team. I was a little anxious ordering and being unsure of the service but I can honestly say I am super happy. Julian took time to clearly explain everything and explained when there was a bit of a delay with the order , but keeping me updated was really helpful. I managed to fit it myself and I am so super happy with the quality and service . I would not hesitate to recommend.

From start to finish, Julian and his team have been wonderful. We received our first stair runner within 2 days of ordering but unfortunately it did not go with our colour scheme. Not to worry though! Julian to the rescue!! He agreed to a swap to another stair runner as well as coming to fit it himself, all well within budget.

Our wider family have had many stair runners from Wholesale Carpets (this being our first) and I have been so impressed. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Excellent carpet fitting service from start to finish. The fitter arrived on time, worked efficiently, and paid great attention to detail. The carpet was fitted perfectly with a neat, professional finish, even around tricky edges. Everything was left clean and tidy, and the result looks fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality carpet and carpet fitting.

After studying various options on the website I called Julian for a bit of advice as I was considering fitting the stair runner myself... I was so impressed by his open manner and honest advice that I elected to go for the fitting service that was offered rather than risk the unknown quality of what I could do myself!
Despite the tight timeframe Julian was able to come and fit it for us on Christmas Eve morning so that we were ready for the big day!
My wife and I are over the moon with the result which really is the crowning glory of our Victorian staircase that turns through a whole 180°.
We will be back for matching runners for our landing as soon I have finished the decorating!

After spending a long time looking for a stair runner that I liked the look of, Wholesalecarpets.co.uk had a good selection , after receiving the samples in the pist I ordered the Herringbone Twill with Striped Edging along with Antique Brass Stair Rods and Eco Wool underlay. I cannot thank Julian enough for his help in getting the order to me so that I could fit it for Christmas and his advice and support whilst I fitted the runner. I could not be happier with the results, it looks as good as the photos on the website :-) would recommend to anyone interested in a quality stair runner and professional service.

Wow where do I start? An absolute wonderful experience dealing with Julian and Whole Sale Carpets. From using the website to getting samples, we knew we were dealing with professional, experienced and friendly customer focused people and company. So much great advice from Julian in emails, WhatsApp and over voice calls.
We ordered the Herringbone Twill with Eco Rod Black Stair Rods and went for the Eco Wool underlay. Delivered very quickly with great communication and tracking.
We ended up fitting ourselves which was easier than we thought, but a lot to do with Julian’s help and advice. Great quality and looks absolutely amazing on our stairs and we are so pleased with the results.

I ordered my stair runner in advance with wholesale carpets with a 10% discount and it was explained that he had recently placed an order for a new shipment of my runner.
I’ve recently had it fitted and purchased the wool underlay and stair rods too and I couldn’t be happier with it. It looks amazing and the quality is top notch. Although I waited for the delivery, Julian kept me fully informed on the process and always responded to my emails. They also give you an extra piece of the border to make a rug from the excess runner so I have a matching landing rug too. Very happy!!😃

I just had my stair runner and a matching runner fitted on my landing and could not be happier. The customer service was above and beyond and nothing was too much. I would highly recommend and will be using them again for sure. I dont write reviews often but it is well deserved here.

I ordered a stair runner in September (it is now March) and was promised delivery in about 3 weeks. But then a succession of excuses were forthcoming, the major one being that our carpet (supposedly in stock) was on a ship coming from India. It finally arrived in the UK (allegedly) but then there were further delays which required me to re-send the original sizes and specifications of the carpet ordered, which suggests the order had been lost - although it was sent by email. Finally, I requested delivery immediately or a refund, but then all communications ceased.

Throughout the attempted purchase, responses to queries have been very delayed. In addition, 2 weeks after the initial order was lodged, I was told that what I had requested (a particular border colour) was a special order, even though it was shown clearly on the website. This meant the order had to be changed which also required a second order to be sent.

This company is either a scam or so totally incompetent that they should not be trading. Do not be tempted to order, even though the things that say they supply look good.
