Wickes - Burton Reviews 

Been looking for a new bathroom and after speaking with Susan at Burton-on-Trent store she gave us brilliant advice, booked in to do a view of the space available and created our vision for our new bathroom. Definitely recommend when it comes to designing your new kitchen or bathroom

We recently purchased a new kitchen and bathroom. The design consultant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She came up with great ideas that we wouldn't have thought of. She made it an easy and enjoyable experience.
We have yet to have them installed but we are very happy with the experience so far.

Very quick to book an initial appointment. From that point Susan in the Burton on Trent store was fantastic with advice. Communication and the ability to listen to what we asked for and able to honestly say what was possible and wasn't.

Susan was very accommodating to our fitter we got on board and I was able to leave the professionals to it whilst being included in correspondence.

The quality of the kitchen has been fantastic and the whole experience from start till end was made easy with the great help from Susan.

Collected some roofing sheets kindly donated by Wickes to go towards repairing our primary schools chicken enclosure.

I needed some products for tiling. I wasnt sure what would be best. Fortunately a member of staff was very helpful and took his time out to advise me and discuss the products. Made it all so much easier.

I came in for a price on a bathroom. The bathroom furniture I viewed in the brochure isn’t available for pricing yet (brochure has been available for a month) Complete waste of my time and your attentive staff, who were apologetic but unable to do their job properly.

That does not help me price a bathrooms does it?

I called in to get some paint mixed up and was helped by a young lady called Robyn. To start with, she was very friendly and approachable. While waiting for my paint we had a general chat about painting (as you do).
I then asked for a second colour to be mixed. Due to Robyns product knowledge, she told me it was already a stock colour and didn't require mixing-this saved me a fair amount of money.
All in all, Robyn was an absolute pleasure to talk to and it's refreshing to see staff so knowledgeable and passionate about their job. She clearly enjoys her work and has exceptional people skills.
Robyn is a credit to the store and a good example for future staff training.

It was Very easy to book an appointment online. Within minutes I knew who my appointment was with. I also got a phone call of Susan herself explaining the different services she could offer us. Online would only book an hour slot and she advised for 2. We did the 2 hour appointment and I’m so glad we did. We knew the style we wanted just needed it to fit into the area. Susan was sublime and we got what we wanted and more in the kitchen. She listened aswell as advised and I must say we are thrilled to see what Susan achieved for us. Can’t wait to see it come to life. Thanks for all your help Susan bower-khan.

Susan was so helpful and patient when I was unable to make my mind up. The only negative was the IT which played up a bit.

Staff at Burton upon Trent always helpfully and nothing is ever too much trouble Rachel especially good and knowledgeable and kind.

Jake helped me from start to finish, helping me work out what I needed and even helping me get them into the boot of my car. A lovely young man!

We used the Burton-On-Trent branch for a bathroom. The one star is for the the employee who oversaw our order and also the fitter who were both very good. However, after very little use (it is for guests so rarely used) I noticed a tiny crack. We contacted wickes who told us to contact the claims department who, clearly, were not going to admit to any fault. After sending a photo that could not show much, they said you must have dropped something. (No one had). We have just paid a professional to mend the cm fine crack who looked very puzzled and told us that the damage was not from something being dropped because of where it was, the direction of the crack and it was on the strongest part of the bath so a shower head falling (which it hadn't) would not have damaged it. Having seen it, his experienced opinion was that the damage was on the other side of the bath and would have been there at installation. We have spent a lot of money, and now more, so we will not be using Wickes again and certainly do not recommend them.

Today I returned 1litre or outdoor pain which was cream but not brilliant white as stated on the tin. Tom sorted it out immediately and I was refunding in 30 seconds.
Then I bought 1litre of Dulux white weathershield and Tom knocked £5 off the price!
He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful so I strongly recommend Wickes! First class service indeed.

Went in for an item that I could not find I was approached by Jason and was told they do not sell that exact item but he showed me better alternatives and was very knowledgeable young gentleman Bernard on the till was very polite when served good service from all

The young lady who did my delivery order was an asset to the company. Just the right side of cheeky. Even when I left the store n realised there had been a miscommunication n we had to re booked the order remained calm n friendly n was sorted out quickly. Burton store keep hold of this member of staff. You have a 12/10 worker here if only all front of house staff could be this good 😁😁😁
