Janine Bateson helped us with designs and quotes for a new kitchen and bathroom. She was super helpful and and worked hard to come up with some great creative ideas and solutions. She was kind and patient with us and responded quickly to our many enquiries! Thank you Janine for all your hard work. Highly recommended.

In Wickes branch in Lancaster/Morecambe I needed three things and didnt have much time to search for them. An assistant named Vicky helped me right away and saved me a lot of time. Great service.

I came in today looking for some exterior mildew cleaner and upvc cleaner and Vicky at the morecambe branch was very helpful in taking me straight to the products I needed.

From our initial query all the way through to our kitchen design the service from Wickes has been entirely professional throughout.
Our initial contact, and designer, Wayne has been outstanding in the way he visited our property, did the early design, then proceeded to fine tune until we reached the end product. Wayne was creative and helpful throughout. Highly recommended by me & Allyson

Communicating well and being clear about pricing and payment options

Wayne was punctual and professional in his approach. He provided a thorough assessment of what needed doing and was informative and polite throughout. He was also very open and honest with us around some particular aspects of the work which gave us food for thought.

Had a great experience with Wickes. Wayne did the design, came out and measured our bathroom. Offered some good advice and various options. Went into store the following week to see the design on screen and finalise the plans. No pressure given a few weeks to decide. We decided to use our own installer, electrician and tiler. But Wickes offered a delivery date to suit. They made changes to some deliveries to ensure we didn't receive them too early. Then the actual delivery and installation went fine. Couple of extras we did not use (toilet roll holder, grab bar). These were returned and refunded, without any hassle. Wayne stayed in touch throughout and we cannot fault him or the Wickes Team. Thankyou!

Wayne made getting our new kitchen a very relaxed experience. He wasn’t pushy, he didn’t pressure us in any way to commit. His design was really good and he helped us to create our perfect kitchen based on our room and personal preferences.

We were treated very well from booking our appointment for a home consultation to us booking to have our bathroom done. Our design consultant Jonathan Green went above and beyond to get us the bathroom we liked, can’t wait now for the work to be done. Thank you .

I have recently moved house and needed a new kitchen to fit into a small space. Jonathan Green from the Lancaster store came to my home to take measurements and a week later I had an appointment with him at the store to see the final design. He had it absolutely spot on, I had a change of mind about the worktop and he accommodated it without a problem. The 3D plans brought it to life and I now cannot wait to install it!

If I come across anyone looking for a new kitchen I'll certainly recommend they give Wickes a go.

The whole journey was simple and stress free , From looking at samples In store and choosing the colour schemes and kitchen range to booking an appoint for measure and design the kitchen , Simon then took over the process , visited the house , listened to what we wanted and offered us advice and suggestions , He went away designed it for exactly how we’d imagined , got us the best possible deal and the order was placed a couple of days later , After a poor experience elsewhere Simon restored our confidence and we can’t thank him enough 😊

I dealt with Janine from Wickes, and she was genuinely brilliant from start to finish. From our very first appointment, she took the time to really listen to what we wanted, asked the right questions, and made sure she understood both our needs and our budget.

Her design ideas were thoughtful and practical, and she was able to suggest improvements we hadn’t considered, without ever pushing us in a direction we didn’t want to go. Communication throughout was excellent — she was always approachable, responsive, and happy to explain options clearly.

Janine made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free, and her attention to detail and professionalism gave us real confidence in the final design. We’re absolutely delighted with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone planning a new kitchen.

Janine Bateson from the Lancaster store designed a great kitchen for us. She listened to our ideas and needs and addressed them really well. We now have a fantastic kitchen which we are really pleased with.
She was quick to respond when we had any queries and helped us all through the installation process.
The fitters did a brilliant job, responded to our requests and we are really pleased with the finish on our kitchen.
It was not easy to get in touch with the customer experience team but with Janine's help we got everything sorted.
The area which was not positive was the delivery. The 2 men arrived on time and unloaded the lorry quickly into our basement. However there was no organisation to the many boxes which meant the fitters first job was to find things. There was also damage to some doors as they were not placed on the battens provided to keep the boxes away from the floor.

Simon was great in helping to design our new kitchen and bathroom. From the initial visit we felt listened to and he was able to reconfigure the designs to fit our needs and our budget. Highly recommended service.

Wayne has gone over and beyond expectation in assisting in designing an accessible kitchen. His knowledge, professionalism, compassion understanding and patience is second to none. Nothing was to much trouble. I was not pressured in any way to make a purchase. There was no hard selling. No mention of credit agreements and he and Janine went the extra mile. I have no hesitation in recommending Wayne to assist you in designing your kitchen. He is an asset to Wickes and his design team. A decent, kind, approachable , friendly, professional guy that made a challenging kitchen design, workable, practicable and affordable. Thank you Wayne.
