I came into store to get a understanding of wickes kitchen ranges, I came across gentleman by the name of Jordan. I found Jordan very helpful & knowledgable took the time out to explain the kitchens ranges and there benefits,I left the store feeling good & confident that my future purchase will be with wickes.Many thanks Jordan for all your help and look forward to seeing your consultant in the near future.

Recently popped in to Wickes in Letchworth to buy some timber and a few other little bits for an ongoing project. The young lady Natalia that helped me couldn't have been anymore helpful.

I’ve used Wickes Letchworth for 20 years as a professional decorator. They are 5 mins from where my business is based. Luck would have it they stock professional trade Dulux paints. For my business that means less travel as other stockists are a journey away. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable of their stocked products. With a bad back (me) last wk one of the staff (Gerald) volunteered to help me load my van with 4 x 10l tubes of paint. Thankyou Letchworth wickes and Gerald

On my visit to the store, I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure what it was called or whereabouts in the store I could find it, I approached a member of staff called Gerald who helped me find exactly what I needed and gave me advice on the product. What brilliant customer service, at this store, I would definitely return here with confidence in finding what I need. Thanks Gerald I appreciate your brilliant help.

Wickes letchworth my local branch I use this branch most days in the mornings a lovely man who I belive is the manger he name us gerlad he will fo out of his way to help you and anyone always happy to help as I say there is also a nice young chap I think mate is jordan who will ho out of his way to help you also as I say overall nothing is a problem a good bunch of staff aways happy to help

I came into the store the other day, and couldn’t find the item I was looking for, I approached a lovely young lady called Jess who happily helped me. She went far and beyond! Excellent customer service!!

What a badly run outlet, went to get some more flowers and they are nearly all dead due to bad organisation. Not watered very disappointing that something as simple as that can’t be done, says a lot for the people responsible for organising.

Great service today from James at Letchworth. Helped me find the product I wanted, carried it to checkout and then to my car. Self assembly box now constructed and as described. Thank you

The whole process was straight forward. The designer was friendly and very professional, and nothing was too much trouble. We felt there was a genuine care and interest from our designer, Martin. We were given an instalation date and the work was completed to a high standard and on time.

We were using the Wickes Kitchen Planning service. Laura was excellent with her advice and patient with all our questions.
Although in the end we did not choose Wickes, Laura's help and expertise was first rate.

I bought a tin of paint some weeks back, when I opened it, it had curdled and was not fit for purpose.
I took it back to where i bought it from Wickes Letchworth and I explained what had happened.
I did not have the receipt as it was in March and we are now in May.
But i had the transaction on my banking app of £18.00 the price of the paint.
The person I spoke to didn’t want to help, he said no receipt no refund or exchange.
I will never buy from Wickes again and nor will anyone that works for me in the trade.
Thankfully a B&Q has opened up the road in Biggleswade,

As a want to be DIY, I need a fence panel and only had measurements , spoke with two agents and they tried their best to help but then was handed to a manager who took her up to most effort to understand my project and then worked out what I need and how to get it, it wasn’t easy because also the company didn’t have the product in single peace , but she was patient and exceptional

I am writing to lodge a serious complaint regarding the disgraceful treatment I received at your Letchworth branch. I purchased several heavy bags of gravel and was assured that staff would assist with loading them into my vehicle at the designated service area.

When I arrived there, the staff member was engaged in a lengthy, casual chat with a trade customer he clearly knew. Once he was finished, I asked him to assist with my order, only to be dismissed offhandedly, as he said "he had something else to do," and then simply walked away.

With no help forthcoming, I returned to the front of the store to ask for assistance, where I encountered the manager. His attitude was shockingly rude and confrontational, dismissive, unhelpful, and entirely devoid of any professionalism. Rather than resolving the issue, he told me to wait even longer, with a tone and posture that could only be described as macho and antagonistic.

As a customer well over the age of 70, I was treated with a complete lack of respect or concern for my physical limitations. The staff and manager showed no regard for my situation, and I was ultimately forced to phone my neighbour to come and help me.

The entire experience left me feeling disregarded, humiliated, and angry. And I’ll be honest, had I been 30 years younger, I would have had a very different kind of response to that manager’s smug attitude.
He should thank god that age has brought me patience, because his behaviour deserved far more than just a complaint.

This is not just poor service, it’s simply disgraceful. Due to my illness I had not had the time to write about this incident, as it happened a few months ago.

I do not expect any apology or response, as to me it is clear that this is the mindset of your company. Here is written for potential customers to note, and not fall for misleading adverts.

They responded with some more cliche that nowdays freely available on the net. But bottom line is This is not the old Wickes that we used to buy our stuff from. The only thing has remained is the name.

Im trying my first ever DIY job -prepping and painting a room at home. No idea what I'm doing but armed with info from friends... then I felt a bit overwhelmed when I hit Wicked. Thank goodness for their staff member, James who was such an amazing help (both visits this weekend!) He gave me hints and tips and useful advice about what to get and how to use it!! So grateful!
