Wickes - Nuneaton Reviews 

We arranged for Ruth to visit our property at 9am to discuss a design for a new Kitchen. At 3pm we went to the store in Nuneaton and sat down with Ruth and after a very short period and a few tweaks we ordered and paid for our new kitchen and sorted a date for delivery.
Ruth was very helpful and listened to our needs and ideas and guided us all the way through the process.
All in all a very successful day and two very happy customers.

We wanted some units for our utility room and called into store and spoke with Marika Smith who was very helpful and spent time going through our measurements and designing a space with us. After a another visit to clarify, we purchased and Marika was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with

We arranged an online appointment for a bathroom installation. Gary Measom came out (at a time that worked for us) and took some time to understand what we were looking for. After some quick measurements and rough ideas (although it seemed like we had 100's of different ideas in mind), he took away the detail to build a design for us. After visiting in store he went through all the selections he'd made, which were fantastic and gave reasons why he'd picked some of the options. He was able to show us specific fittings and options in the showroom and give advice on what would and wouldn't work together. After agreeing on the design which he shared with us, it was a quick and easy appointment to arrange the deposit and finance. This process couldn't have been made any easier!

Gary will help you find what you need. We visited the showroom twice to make our choices and then one final time to arrange finance. The rest happens at home. We are now just waiting for a start date and are really looking forward to our lovely new kitchen

I have really had an excellent service from our local Wickes shop from designing the bathroom Gary was a star to delivery of the items Customer Service was excellent in communicating updates of deliveries, bathroom installation Paul Rigby was outstanding. If you want a perfect job done for you contact Wickes.

We have in the last couple of days ordered a new bathroom from Wickes. A big thank you to Gary Measom the Design Consultant for his patience with us. He came to ours and planned our bathroom but a couple of things we were unsure about and got in touch with Gary who listened to us and changed what we asked. He was always polite and professional, thank you Gary for making this experience stress free. Can’t wait to see the end result when the bathroom is fitted, would definitely recommend Gary to our friends and anyone who is thinking of having a new bathroom.

Gary Measom accommodated all of our needs, we had never ordered a kitchen before and he took us through every step.
He showed us different design ideas and each time we went away and had time to think about it, we could go back and make changes with ease.
He talked us through all the worktop ranges and different styles of kitchens.
I would highly recommend Gary to anyone, especially how comfortable he made us feel with the experience.

In January 2025 with sketch plan in hand and having already decided my choice of kitchen I sat down with Gary Meason one of the kitchen designers/ experts at Nuneaton. Upon sitting down and I saw a kitchen display right in front of me and that was the one that completely change my mind.
Gary was an inspiration, with his experience, in-depth knowledge and expert advice, together with his patience, as It took a couple of appointments to finally purchase my new kitchen, I now have a kitchen that I have always wanted.
Gary is a credit to Wickes and gives an exceptional customer experience in a professional manner.

We just bought a kitchen from Wickes, and Maria Smith was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. She was friendly and helped us to tailor different options as we were quite hesitant. Her advise was spot on and we really appreciated how smoothly everything was from start to finish. Thanks to her we now excited about our new kitchen which is coming in few weeks🤗 Highly recommend her!!

I've used this store for many years, today was a vile experience.

I purchased an item that did not measure the size it states on the box, to verify this I took in the tape measure to prove that it is not the size that it states on the box.

The Manager offered a refund which was acceptable but then decided to see if he can get another colleague to help me out as I wanted a solution if possible to which I was greeted with refusal, no acceptance of the issue and advised I was in the wrong.

The colleagues name was Alan, far from useful and completely argumentative advising a customer that there is something wrong with their toilet if the item didn't fit.

I have the same product in my current toilet which measures what this item advised but the item wickes sells does not measure the same as it states in the box.

This employee clearly lacks customer service skills and the Manager did not step in to send him off, instead he stood there until I asked if I can speak to a Manager.

I spend my time dealing with difficult situations and complex needs for children, not to mention I'm heavily pregnant, patience is something i take pride in. I don't expect an attitude from a customer service employee in Wickes on my day off especially given the item I was returning was advised by a plumber!

Wickes is not somewhere I would use again, perhaps some customer service training is required for the argumentative employee you have based in Nuneaton.

We had our kitchen supplied by Wickes. Everything was very good. I reviewed the design and purchase a couple of months ago. We've now had it fitted. The fitter, Peter Bailey, was excellent, going out of his way to ensure everything was done properly. The kitchen looks superb; we are extremely happy with it.

Gary Measom - at the Nuneaton branch - was absolutely fantastic. My family and I could not speak more highly of him. He understood exactly the purpose for which the kitchen we designed was intended, and helped us so much along the way. He even came in on his day off to make sure we were able to process our order within the timescale we needed. I’m so incredibly grateful. What a brilliant credit to Wickes.

We recently ordered our new kitchen from Wickes in Nuneaton. Our consultant Marika was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for her.Even when I completely changed our design and kitchen. She made choosing our kitchen hassle free. She was so pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you are thinking of getting a new kitchen to go and speak to Marika first. I cannot speak highly enough about her. Thank you so much.

Marika was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to our ideas for the kitchen and her own thoughts and experience. We are very much looking forward to seeing the kitchen she designed as a reality.

Had our kitchen designed by Gary M in store and he was brilliant. From our initial meeting in store looking through kitchen designs, the home visit to see the space, hear our ideas and gain measurents, through to finalising the design. There was not any pressure and nothing was too much to ask. He took on board all of our requests and helped us to achieve what we had envisioned with the budget we had. Great experience all round, we will definitely see Gary again when it is time to upgrade the bathroom.

Gary at Wickes Nuneaton was brilliant. Professional from the start to finish. Gave sound advice. Nothing was too much trouble even when I changed the design lol. 10/10

Wickes Nuneaton, Gary's attention to detail during the design of our kitchen was exceptional, his visited our house and discussed options available to us. Then invited us to the showroom, to show us how it would look on his computer.

And when it came to the installation, we were allocated
Pete Bailey Installation (Nuneaton) who also visited us to plan the installation, who arrived on time during the set installation time, him and his right hand (Rick) were cheerful very friendly and approachable, answer any questions, and the quality of their craft and skills are exceptional, they built us a kitchen to be proud of. Thank you very much .

The shop had what I was wanting and Gary Measom was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much for him. Also he had to reassure me for months, actually nearly 9 monhts, the sale of the property took 10 months and it worried me that he might cancel my order but he did not and yesterday I could finalize my kitchen order. Happy days

Gary really helpful in getting my bathroom delivered in time for the work to be commenced.
In fact when the delivery driver couldn't get the bath in my house - Gary and Martin (from Wickes store Nuneaton) went above and beyond by coming out and unpacking it of the pallet and getting it into the house.

We purchased a fitted kitchen from WICKES & initially had a problem with a faulty appliance which took 6 months to replace. We also have an issue with the Quooker Tap leaking. It would appear that its been leaking since installation & has caused water damage to the cupboard below. I contacted WICKES on discovering this issue & was advised that has an electric socket was located in the cupboard that this issue would be treated as a matter of urgency & I would be contacted to rectify the problem. Over 2 weeks later Ive heard nothing, so I contacted Wickes again. WICKES couldnt offer an explanation why the person who stated he would look into the issue had not called me back & refused to allow me to speak with him. WICKES have refused to send anyone out to look at / repair the leak. I'm being told to take photos of the issue & forward them to WICKES, I did this with the faulty appliance & it made no difference. There customer representatives still refused after receiving the photos to replace the appliance, making every excuse under the sun to avoid doing something. They just didn't care. The stress of trying to get the faulty appliance replaced made me really ill but I perceived & eventually had communications with an individual who took responsibility for the issue, stating that I would receive compensation for the way WICKES had dealt with the issue. To date I have not received a penny & when I try to contact the individual who promised to pay compensation every person I speak to is obstructive & will not transfer me to him or states they will request a phone call to be made from him but cant guarantee it. So now I've got to go through the same again stress again to try & get WICKES to fulfil there statutory obligation . The kitchen we purchased from WICKES including the cost of fitting was over £50,000. My previous review on trust pilot regarding the faulty appliance was acknowledged by a computer generated acknowledgment but WICKES don't /wont do anything else in relation to that review. My advise to anybody considering buying a kitchen from WICKES is don't because once they have your money they just don't care & will be as obstructive as possible, hoping that you will eventually drop down dead so that they never have to rectify any problem or fulfil there legal obligation.
