I went into Wickes South Shields with a desk lamp bulb which needed replacing. With different screw fittings, wattage and white types I had no idea which one to get. I asked a lady at Customer Services who showed me to a man called Glen to help me. Glen explained the correct screw fitting, wattage and white type to get so a few minutes later I walked out the shop very happy with a new desk lamp bulb.

Was looking for an item, a young lady called Tanya assisted me to find the item ,didn't want to put her out her way ,she said not a problem ,helped me purchase the vinyl flooring I needed , appreciate the polite ,efficient service I recieved ,will be back at the south shields store , very rare to get such dedicated assistance with good knowledge of store ,thanks tanya

Staff at South Shields branch are always friendly and helpful. Yesterday Brian helped to select and load very heavy bags of bark chippings to my car. Nothing is a bother for him. Thank you.

Great advice and help from Brian at south shields store yesterday.
Came straight over and ordered our tiles for us with a convenient delivery date.

We where helped by a member of staff called Jean she was so helpful telling us what was the best things to put a bench up and took us to everything we needed excellent customer service

Went in store to purchase some wooding flooring, the staff member Jean went over and beyond to help me and my wife out and worked out exactly how many packs we would require and also showed us the different options for beading and underlay. She went over and beyond to help us out and defiantly requires recognition!

Cashier Dawn was excellent, brightened my day.

Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a very pleasant experience.

Audrey on the checkouts always has a smile and happy to help. Nice to see staff at the checkout rather than self scanners like some of the competitors. Well stocked and maintained store.

This morning picked up 6 large packs of Cavity Wall Slabs from South Shields store. Weather was horrendous, however Dave collected them from the yard and brought them in for me. Thank you Dave for your help, it is much appreciated

This is the third review that I have written for the wickes South Shields store over the last few years They are all positive and all highlight areas of excellent customer service .As anyone knows in business , consistency is the key and their customer service is definitely that .
Today I was helped by Dawn who was excellent. I had a struggle to find the right colour match and she took time to compare all options . She helped me to find items without actually being asked . It is always a pleasure to go into Wickes I have never had anything but good customer service. Today was no exception

I use South Shields store almost everyday and have done for years. Staff are great and helpful. Today I was served by Kerry and she was really helpful and professional.
