Very pleased with supply of the kitchen and all the help from Azhar who was great all the way through

Store standards were great and all the staff really helpful and chatty

My wife and I recently visited Wickes to design our new kitchen and had the pleasure of working with Anthony Garnett. From the moment we sat down with him, it felt less like meeting a salesperson and more like speaking with a trusted family member who genuinely cared about helping us create our dream kitchen.

Anthony’s knowledge and experience were immediately obvious. He guided us through every part of the process with patience, insight, and incredible attention to detail. He really took the time to listen to what we wanted, understand our lifestyle and needs, and turn our ideas into a design that felt both practical and exciting.

What stood out most was how kind, approachable, and patient he was throughout. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured — instead, he made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. His expertise gave us confidence in every decision, and his suggestions helped elevate the design far beyond what we had imagined ourselves.

We left feeling genuinely excited and extremely happy with the outcome. Anthony’s professionalism, warmth, and passion for what he does made this an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Excellent design and quality. The fitters were competent and very helpful. The work was completed in less than 2 weeks so disruption was minimal.

We needed to replace our kitchen. Neighbours recommended Wickes.
We found a property person in charge, Anthony, who not only understood our needs ,but made very savvy proposals/changes.

I arrived to the store and met a lovely designer called Anthony. The creativity and knowledge that this designer has is unreal. Made it really easy from start to finish and was trilled with my experience throughout!

Very Professional, informed and clear understanding of the subject and the advise provide by the Design Consultant : Mr. Azhar Fajudeen ( Azee ) and from the Installation team of Mr.Omran Abu Rajab.

Worse experience ever.
Went to order a garden shed in store as website wouldn’t display delivery.
On arriving apparent the shed box would not fit into any car type. Asked at desk to arrange delivery of item. Was told delivery was not an option, no reason why or any help at all. Was informed if it isn’t for delivery on website they use same website so can't arrange it.
Tried to call customer services 10minutes on phone and still no answer.

We went to Wickes in St Albans looking for a new kitchen and bathroom.
After having visited our flat Anthony came up with plans for both rooms. We were very happy with his understanding of our requirements and accepted both quotes.
The bathroom was completed earlier this month (May 2026), what a great experience, Adel, the installer and is assistant were both caring, friendly excellent at their craft, nothing was too much trouble.
We are looking forward to our kitchen installation early in June.

My bathroom was designed by Rae in St Albans. I am so happy with my bathroom and my design experience was amazing. I am quite hard of hearing and take some time to make decisions but Rae was very kind and understanding. She spoke clearly and was very patient with me. This is the first place I visited that I did not feel pressured into sales. She took so much time designing with me and showing me my options. Rae enjoys what she does and has a kind heart and want to help others that is clear. A big credit to Wickes and I cannot recommend Wickes St Albans enough. The shop floor staff and management are also very helpful and kind. My bathroom were fitted last year however Rae recently checked in with me and I find that very courteous and different to make other companies in terms of customer experience and care. Thank you Wickes.

Anthony Garnett and Omran did a brilliant job designing, planning and installing my new kitchen. After visiting to measure and discuss my requirements, Anthony showed me a design on the computer. I was amazed that my kitchen could look like that. A few months later, it did! Throughout the process Anthony was very helpful explaining options without being pushy. He made tweaks to the plans, answered my questions and spent time with me to make sure everything was as I wanted and made best use of the space.
Omran and the team at Softwood Beech were fantastic. They expertly installed the kitchen to a high quality, including adding a new wall and pocket door.
Also Eve and the installation team at Wickes made it all run smoothly including arranging the worktop template and install.
I am very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Wickes together with their partners.

We recently undertook a major bathroom renovation for our first home, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Raeanna as our Design Consultant at the Wickes St Albans branch. From our very first meeting, Rae was absolutely phenomenal.

She didn't just try to sell us a bathroom; she genuinely took the time to listen to our ideas, understand our vision, and translate it into a stunning and highly functional 3D design. Her attention to detail, endless patience with our questions, and brilliant eye for aesthetics made the entire planning process a joy. She guided us through the product selections with impressive expertise.

Super professional designing by Azhur, who helped create the right bathroom for us, and in trusting his judgement we had exactly what we needed. Installing team were excellent, very respectful, efficient and considerate for us a their client. Process was very efficient, and far less disruptive that we anticipated. Would highly recommend.

We recently purchased our kitchen through Wickes in St Albans and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Azhar was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. From the initial design consultation, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his work. He really took the time to understand what we wanted and came up with a design that we genuinely loved.

What stood out most was how supportive and transparent he was during the process. He worked with us to find the right balance among design, quality, and budget, and went the extra mile to help us reach a position we were comfortable with.

We ordered a 17000.00 kitchen last year which was supposed to be finished in November 2025. The reason we didn't wait for after Christmas sale because our dad was dying and our last Christmas was going to be special and he bought this for me and he wanted to see my face ect. Anyway we are still a work in progress six months after our dad died in January. All I can say is the stress and turmoil this has caused our family is beyond ridiculous and we are still waiting for completion of all of this amazing kitchen we were promised and paid a lot of money for is incredible disappointing and upsetting.

Azee made all the difference - friendly warm and efficient

Went in and arranged a home visit for the following day and then went back later that week and sat down and went through the design and placed our order. We were given good advice and everything was fully explained. There were no problems changing a couple of things on the order further down the line. All in all a good experience.

I cannot commend Wickes St Albans (and particularly Raeanna) enough for their help with the products for our utility room. We had a bad experience with B&Q but as soon as we went to Raeanna with the same request, the whole process was a dream from start to finish. Extremely easy and smooth design process, excellent communication, reasonable prices and to top it off, extremely fast delivery. Cannot recommend the Wickes St Albans design and installation team enough, you were a lifesaver! Thanks again!
