Wickes - Stoke On Trent Reviews 

I recently had a fantastic experience at Wickes Stoke, largely thanks to a young woman working there. I was completely clueless about door handles, hinges, and locks, but she was incredibly helpful and patient. For such a young woman, we were astonished by the depth of her knowledge. She went above and beyond to explain everything to me and helped me find exactly what I needed. Her customer service was outstanding, and she made the whole process so much easier. I highly recommend Wickes, and especially this helpful employee for anyone needing assistance with their home improvement projects!

Wickes supported landau stoke in our community project. The staff were friendly and helpful and found our products quickly and efficiently. The learners enjoyed their trip to wickes and are looking forward to starting their new projects .

Had an issue that I needed to discuss with the store, regarding the wrong fitting for a unit in a kitchen insulation while one staff member was rather rude and dismissive - Sky was amazing she had a sunny disposition and was super helpful and a credit to the store in terms of taking all my details to pass on to the Manager.

We approached Wickes regarding a new bathroom installation and met with Hinal Mehta, their design consultant. We discussed at length our requirements. She was very thorough and professional considerering all the time us as customers. We are very pleased with the outcome. The fitters too, Danlar were meticulous in the work following Hinal's planning.
We had a few glitches regarding late and non-delivery of items for the installation. Some chasing up for these had to be done (hence the 4 stars). Hinal turned out to be our 'go to' person to sort things out, and she did, swiftly. (She gets a 5 star).
Overall, Wickes missed out because of deliveries and mix ups which were from linked bespoke manufacturers.

I called into the Fenton depot in Stoke on Trent today to pick up 40 packs of laminated flooring. But they only had about three quarters of my order on the shelf. So I spoke with a guy called Ryan who said he would check in the back of the warehouse to see if there was any more. He later came back to me and said that if I go and pay at the checkout for my stuff. I then could then drive my car around to the delivery and collection area, and then load up my vehicle straight from off a brand new pallet of delivered laminated wood.

Also lovely lady called Kathryn served me at the checkout and she was absolutely incredible and a wonderful lady to deal with, the exact same as Ryan was. Both staff members are a credit to the company Wickes.

Skye was so so helpful. I hadn't a clue she guided me through picking the right size wood for a curtain rails Nd the right kind of gloss and even which paint brushes work well with gloss

We booked an appointment in store through the website which stated "Meet a Design Consultant and be inspired by our ranges and products and start your 3d plan design", we had an appointment time and were given the name of the person we were meeting.

We turned up to store, there was nobody in the bathroom area, we went and asked a different member of staff, who radioed somebody else to come and help. The next member of staff came up to us, stinking of cigarettes, and told us the person we were supposed to be meeting isn't working today and that today isn't the start of 3D plan designs and that it's just for us to look around the store and the sort of bathrooms they can do. This member of staff was apologetic and said there's often confusion around what this appointment contains and that they've asked head office to amend the wording on the website.

The store did have our contact details though and if this is a frequent occurrence they could have called us in advance of the appointment and explained this.

This was particularly frustrating for us as we'd arranged for childcare in order to attend this appointment.

Visited your store today and was helped by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady.. I think her name was Kathryn.. a fab asset to the store!

We applied for a community grant towards our community garden. The communication with staff was excellent and the staff were very friendly to deal with . Many thanks for all your support

I ordered a kitchen base cabinet online and it was a complete nightmare. Delivery said “in stock within 3 to 8 days delivery” however once a few other items from a local store has been delivered the app marked the order as complete. I called Customer services on day 5 to enquire what was happening. I got cut off after 20 minutes and had to call back. After another 12m wait to speak to someone I was then transferred to the kitchen Team who advised me that the delivery was scheduled for three weeks time they seemed uninterested that their app said it had been delivered and complete and assured me they would get the courier DX to ring me back in the morning with a more expedient delivery date. The morning has passed and no phone call has been received. My project is now on hold pending some kind of resolution.

Went in other day and Liam helped me with my Online order I was struggling with on my phone and good service from Jack too been in a couple times before and he helped me find stuff I needed

Lauren and Hadleigh at the Fenton store were very friendly and helpful. What I wanted wasn't available so they went out of their way to help me find a suitable alternative and I left the store feeling like a valued customer.

Kathryn is super friendly and helpful. Easy to deal with and very knowledgeable also.
Overall I’ve had a great experience at this store, staff seem to be happy and are willing to provide advise.
I’d give everyone in that store a raise for the service they provide.

Book a kitchen design appointment with a representative. When i arrived i was told that it's not a design appointment it seamed to be only a chat, what for an hour. I was told this by i don't know who as the person I was supposed to see wasn't even there! Some appointment. I was told that head office had had been told that the booking system didn't work but refused to remove it a sorry excuse. I wouldn't advise anyone to try and book an appointment on line as they obviously don't work. So a total waste of an hour of my life, they did offer to book me another appointment i turned the offer down. I've now booked with Wren was asked for a measurement plan of my kitchen and had a call to discuss what I want before my appointment. Wickes you really need to get your act together very poor!

Couldn't find some of the items at first then I asked Kathryn a cheerful member of staff (and a good sence of humor) who showed me around and Everything I needed was in stock.

Truly appalling customer service from Alan Pibworth at the Stoke on Trent Wickes branch. His desk was empty when I arrived for my kitchen design appointment and eventually he arrived 8 minutes late. His attitude from this point was dreadful, myself and my partner were made to feel an inconvenience for taking up his time. The appointment was over in 20 minutes because we both walked away. This is by far the most unprofessional experience I have endured when looking to make a major purchase. I will not be returning to this store
