Went into Wickes with some rough measurements from my husband for some wood to surround some cupboard doors. An assistant went above and beyond to work out what we needed, he helped us find the best wood, opened a new pack as one was bowed. Checked sizes for us and then found the rail and fittings we needed for a clothes rail. Very pleasant, professional and helpful as we didn’t have a clue what we needed. Well done to Kyle at Snedshill Telford store.

I was in the Telford store and Joshua Owen came to my assistance and stayed with me until my order was sorted. Very very helpful.

Richard Hunwick dealt with my enquiry and he was the most helpful polite salesperson you could wish for. He offered us an amazing deal on a new kitchen which beat Howdens by £900 yes £900. Thanks Richard. Oh by the way when I told my daughter about this fantastic deal she has booked Richard to measure her kitchen too for a new one.

Great experience from start to finish! Richard was perfect, no pressure or hard sell and designs your kitchen around your needs rather than his sales. Couldn't have asked for more, always easy to contact and quick to reply.
He takes the time to get to genuinely know his customers, professional, but relaxed with a great sense of humour. We honestly could not recommend enough, even if you don't want a kitchen, just call in for a chat!

As a member of staff from a local primary school, I have found the customer service at Wickes - Telford amazing. As part of a community scheme they have provided a range of resources that will be used to build a sensory/STEM garden for children to use. Michelle at Wickes has been fantastic in organising this. Upon collection, staff were friendly and approachable.

Needed help and advice went to Wickes and met Phil at Telford he sorted my problem almost immediately could not have been bettered anywhere needs to be awarded a gold medal thanks a lot

Wickes gave the provision I work for £100 community grant to purchase resources to enable us to set up an allotment. They kindly gave us much needed equipment including trowels, manure, gloves, buckets, hose. Michelle the manager was extremely helpful and communicated very well with me.

Made an appointment for Richard Hunwick of St George’s Telford to come out and give us some ideas as wasn’t sure what I really wanted.
He was so helpful, polite and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour!
Richard went back made the plans up and we arranged another appointment to view. He showed me different things I could add to improve my kitchen and offered honest advice which I was impressed with.
He then showed us a breakdown of costings which at first was more than we expected but after saying we could go a little cheaper on certain things but in the end we went with the original quote because he’d been honest and really helpful.
I will definitely recommend Richard if you want a kitchen. Great guy!

Friendly staff, issue with delivery tracking- store called and resolved the issue promptly.

Ordered shower panels today, quick and easy no hassle transaction. Would definitely recommend Steve for all your bathroom or kitchen requirements.

Two years ago, I spent somewhere close to £16,000 on a new kitchen with Wickes. At the time, the service and installation were excellent from start to finish, and quality of kitchen was fantastic, which makes what happened next even more disappointing.

Very recently, I discovered that Wickes had shared some of my account information with a complete stranger (to them). This individual was making enquiries because they were interested in buying our house, which was for sale at the time.

After I raised this issue, Wickes reacted very quickly and conducted an internal investigation and formally admitted that my data should not have been shared, and that GDPR procedures were not followed correctly by a consultant before any disclosure of any information.

For some reassurance, Wickes stated that my case would be used as a training example for staff going forward!

While they acknowledged their mistake, I was more than happy to try and settle without legal proceedings, Wickes offered £50 gift voucher as a goodwill gesture. This was deeply insulting, given the significant stress and financial loss their negligence caused me, never mind that we had spent over £16k with them as a customer. As a direct result of this mistake caused, I incurred circa £1,000 in additional costs related to the complications this caused and to secure our house sale.

Wickes attempted to justify the data disclosure as a “safety precaution” because the individual claimed to be buying a house with a Wickes-fitted kitchen. This explanation is completely unacceptable.

Sharing customer data with a member of the public under these circumstances shows a serious failure in data protection standards - Wickes website states, that personal information is only shared with Wickes account holders.

This matter has now escalated into a legal dispute, which could have been avoided if Wickes had taken proper responsibility and offered an appropriate resolution from the outset, we feel totally let down by Wickes following the outcome of this issue.

My situation could have been a one-off (a very costly one for me), however I would caution anyone when dealing with Wickes to consider how safely and responsibly they handle Customer data.

Wickes Telford gave us an amazing donation of compost and tools for our community garden. The operations manager Michelle Phillips was really helpful and friendly. It was a really smooth process to apply and collect the items. Highly recommend!
