Wickes - Waltham Cross Reviews 

I visited the Waltham Cross store today with a paint tin with paint covering the mixer paint label. Aina asked roughly the date of it being mixed. She looked on the mixing machine data base and by elimination found my original order with a picture of my colour, was able to order another. This took about 20 minutes. Aina went above and beyond what I expected and in a friendly manner.

Vanesa from Wickes at Waltham Cross came out to carry out a kitchen design. When Vanesa arrived and completed the kitchen design I was so impressed with her & her knowledge & excellent customer service. I then made the decision for Vanesa to design my bathroom. My refurbishment on my apartment has now been completed & because of receiving first class service I went on to ordering tiles & flooring for all the apartment. I am delighted with the finish. The quality of Wickes products is excellent. I am very impressed but it was Vanesa & her professionalism that made the whole 3 month experience a pleasure.

Had a really good experience at Wickes Waltham cross. I was helped by Travis to sort out my click and collect order which was initially causing problems. He was very friendly and made the process easy. Top customer service.

I had a fantastic experience working with Vanesa on my kitchen design. From start to finish, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She quickly understood my requirements, provided excellent advice, and designed a layout that perfectly matched my needs.

Her quick turnaround and attention to detail made the whole process smooth and stress-free. She also guided me through placing the order, ensuring everything was correct and on time. I truly appreciate her dedication and expertise—highly recommended!

Very happy. Tom was a great help when choosing our kitchen and appliances. Deserves a pay rise.

Over bought paint, as you do just incase. Ended up being ill so diy project took a little longer then anticipated.
Went to return so pain unused and was refused a refund as was over 30 days (36 days) even explained my situation just came out of hospital and did t want to know.
B and q give 90 days so why are they so strict on 30 days its a joke in this day and age!
Waltham cross branch manager a joke even after contacting online support who said its up to the store managers discretion still wouldn't help.

EDITED REVIEW, UPDATED VERSION BELOW.Ordered a shed online. Firstly the wrong shed was delivered amd a day at home to receive the item was wasted. I then eventually received my Keter Darwin Apex Shed which not only took me 4 hours to assemble due to poor instructions but also was faulty and the remaining shed could not be assembled. Called CX for an exchange who booked in a collection of the faulty item. Collection did not take place on date as agreed (3rd day wasted at home). Tried to sort this out with CX on the phone which wasted another 45 min of my time to be offered £4 compensation. I have requested wickes to dissemble to faulty shed for collection which they would not do because of a H&S issue which clearly they then left with me. And i was not prepared to take the H&S risk or pay a labourer to do this job for me. I had a call form the Waltham Cross store manager and advised him I am recording the call which upon he rudely hang up. Issue still not sorted and will not purchase anything from wickes again due to the poor and disrespectful customer service. Avoid if you can and want to stay sane.

WICKES DECIDED TO CANCEL THE COLLECTION OF MY FAULTY ORDER WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME SO AGAIN, ANOTHER DAY WASTED WAITING AROUND FOR THE COURIER! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND OVER CUSTOMER SERVICE

Tom at the Waltham cross branch at wickes was absolutely fantastic.
Tom’s great personality really one is over and he is the main reason we have purchased our Kitchen with Wickes.
Noting was too much trouble and his advice and experience have been superb. I would highly recommend Tom and Wickes for your kitchen or bathrooms.
Thanks for everything Tom. We will be back to discuss bathrooms soon.

I have just tired to return a lutec pir outside light to wickes after it stopped working in less than 4 months. Wickes Waltham Cross were totally unhelpful telling me it wasn't their problem as it was over 30 days old.I had to purchase a new light and will now have to deal Lutec for a refund, highly likely they will only offer a new light which I no longer need.I could not be without a pathway light.I have just read the Lutec warranty guidance and they suggest it is returned to the retailer for help with claim or refund.Not a chance of that happening at Wickes Waltham Cross.

I went into the Waltham cross Wickes. I needed some fence paint and the store only had around 5 in stock. They weren’t on the shelves so the girl at the till went to check out back. Couldn’t find any and they didn’t have any. I needed the paint as the guy was doing the job on that same day. The girls said she’d looked and couldn’t do any more.
The second girl on the till next to mine said they might be stacked at the back of the stacked ones and hidden at the back. She said she’d have a look for me. Her name is Canlene. She was absolutely brilliant. She went out of her way to take all the paint cans off to look. And she found three tins. It took a lot of effort for her and time. One of the male staff even said she shouldn’t be doing this and to go on the till instead. She really saved the day for me and should be recognised for the outstanding customer service. What a superstar. Thank you Canlene for your help!

Callum went above and beyond to help and assist us. We admire his patience, helpfulness and honesty. We would love to see more staff with Callum’s attentiveness.

Really bad customer service, staff walk away when you ask a question at the Waltham cross branch no help whatsoever. 👎🏼

When Tom arrived at my house he was informative helpful and very friendly, I felt at ease which was very important. Also Pete who installed my kitchen was great nothing was to much trouble and I am extremely happy with the result. A big thanks to you both, I would highly recommend Wicks

I have had an amazing experience with Wickes with designing and ordering my new kitchen.
In particular, Vanesa helped so much - from our friendly first encounter when she measured my kitchen, to promptly sending drafts/ prices over (for different styles too), and then finally sitting together to design the final kitchen. Vanesa was very knowledgeable about all kitchen styles that Wickes had to offer, the specs they offered and comparisons between styles. My goal was to keep costs low due to personal circumstances due to be changing in the coming months, and Vanesa helped me do that.
Thank you so much again, I am looking forward to the kitchen arriving!

What made my experience good today was a young lady called EWELINA was so helpful and helped me with my purchase a perfect experience.

We had a gentleman called Tom Bolton looking after our kitchen refit. He designed and ordered the complete kitchen and was in constant contact all the way through from start to finish. Nothing too much trouble. The kitchen looks amazing and Tom even popped in to see it fitted when he was passing. Well done Tom and Wickes! Good quality product and great service,thank you
