I purchased a second hand
I purchased a second hand, grade E, GX7 just before heading off on 6 month travels. Unfortunately one of the dials was broken on receiving the camera, I made do with changing the settings around in the mean time. Once back in the UK, Graham at Wilkinson Cameras helped get the camera repaired under it's warranty. It took around a month to fix, but this was explained to me that it was due to a shortage in the part. Overall very happy with my experience of Wilkinson Cameras. Would definitely use them again.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for providing your tracking number. You placed an order choosing next working day delivery, which meant delivery on Friday 14th July.
We dispatched the parcel with DPD on Thursday 13th and this was marked as "out for delivery" with SMS updates sent by text message on Friday 14th as planned.
When you contacted us via Live Help on Friday asking if you could meet the driver on the way to you we politely explained that this was not possible. Upon checking the tracking, we clarified that the parcel was shown as being delayed and advised that it could come any time that day until 6pm. We also said that if it didn't arrive in time then to get back in touch and we would refund the postage charge.
Checking the tracking we can see that DPD attempted to deliver on Friday, but looking into the GPS co-ordinates of the attempt, it looks like they were in the wrong location.
Your parcel is out for delivery again today (the next working day) and it scheduled for between 15.25 and 16.25. As promised, your delivery charge has been refunded. We have taken on the instructions you provided over the phone a few moments ago and have given these to DPD to make it easier for them to find your property.
We hope you will realise that we have done everything we can in this instance and that an issue with DPD is beyond our control. I would ask that given our fast dispatch and quick replies to emails and Live Help and our support throughout the delivery issue that you would consider amending your review accordingly.
It is also worth noting that we do list the couriers we use on our Delivery Information page: https://www.wilkinson.co.uk/delivery-information - we do have some customers who contact us to ask for a specific courier, for example if they have had issues with a courier service in the past. We will always take these requests into account when selecting a courier. We chose DPD as they are usually extremely reliable.
If you do wish to purchase the item elsewhere, then please let us know ASAP as we can simply cancel the delivery and have it returned to us. Once the return has been confirmed you will be refunded in full.

Went into Wilkinson’s Preston shop to look at a new LUMIX FZ2000 but saw a secondhand camera for sale. The camera was in excellent condition at a very fair price. When I got home I purchased the camera on line. Delivery was very fast so I was very pleased.

It's five stars from me
I have bought my last 5 cameras from Wilkinsons in Burnley. They have always given helpful and honest advice, without being over pushy to sell. I did have one that I was not satified with and they quickly sent it back to Canon for re-calibrating, and it was back within a week, sorted. I can highly recommend Wilkinsons.

Wilkinsons had the products in stock.
The lens I chose was in stock and was kept updated on delivery. Wilkinson so good I ended up purchasing a teleconverter a couple of days later for my new lens.
