Received email stating a free bonus to play on a slot machine had been added to my account. When I logged in bonus was showing until I tried to play said slot . After contacting chat help first operator said she had resolved issue by adding a pound to my balance to nudge bonus into working didn't work , contacted chat operator got a fella named Glad he tried several times to fix issue and eventually cancelled the bonus and said I will send you a link for another bonus.Never happened .I sent email to customer services and received a smarmy email stating I had cancelled the bonus and therefore it could not be re added. The attitude of Glad and email sender seriously lacks customer service skills and feels like I'm wasting their time when these....have wasted hours of my time ,when I did not ask for a bonus in the first place. Really weird way to run a business.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Received an email from William Hill offering a 100% bonus. When I clicked on the link at the bottom of the email it took me straight to the sites banking page where I deposited £30. But as there was no sign of the bonus I contacted the live chat help. 30 minutes later they said they would have to tranfer me to the casino team! Then another 10 minute wait for them to establish that I should have made the deposit through the sites promotions page rather than on the page their email link had directed me to. They were totally unwilling to rectify the situation by manually crediting the bonus and insisted the full instructions were there for me to read in the small print. Money swiftly withdrawn and I am playing elsewhere.

Do not deposit money to William Hill. You will not receive your withdrawal and you will probably go through the most infuriating process trying to do so.

I used my credit card to deposit $50USD and it didn't work, I then deposited the money with Instadebit. My money was accepted but then my account was immediately blocked because my credit card was supposedly stolen.

I was then asked to verify my account with a picture of the credit card I used, photo ID and proof of address. I sent all three photos as asked and the picture of my credit card was approved, my picture ID was approved but not my proof of address, they asked that I send another document.

Well two months later and countless emails back and forth my account still wasn't activated. They declined every document I sent and constantly asked for new ones. I went to my bank twice for bank statements that were stamped and signed by the teller and those weren't good enough. The "security team" from William Hill even went as far as saying that I had to take a picture of myself holding these documents.

Talking to online chat employees from William Hill is also infuriating. They offer no help whatsoever and keep on using the same lines over and over. The $50 really wasn't worth the trouble and I simply stopped trying.

Seriously avoid at all costs! Not worth your time, money or effort. They wouldn't activated my account for $50, I have read many reviews stating the same problem for small sums of money. Imagine if you were to win something big, being very happy and then having to go through this mess? DON'T DO IT!

Its one of the very worst sites, i won big time and what happened the game froze as it was paying out so complained to them, what they did was nowt all, they still in the 80s, who is too blame for online farce is former CEO James Henderson, scammed too many times. I refused to send sensitive documents to people I do not know and whose security processes I have no faith in. As a compromise I offered to go to a local William Hill store with my ID. This was agreed by customer service agent. I went to the store and contacted the customer service team. The line was poor and I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes. I told the agent I would call back and left the store. I called for m a better line only to be told they had no record of the earlier calls and I needed to send in the documents. I refused and asked them to check their call log and send me the money.
