My husband posted on here about these crooks and I've done research. The address they use at Adam House is not where they are. They have a virtual office there which they pay £65 a month just to have their mail sent there. They do not have an office or trade from there. I have contacted the owners of Adam House and advised them of the practices used by these crooks. I am also going to contact their bank and tell them what kind of people their customers are. We have reported them to Action Fraud, trading standards and police.

Stay well away from this company they …

Stay well away from this company they are bad news. Sold a 24 month contract via cold calling to my elderly 81 year old relative who is not of sound mind. No evidence of any paper contract/welcome letter in the post the recording of the sale was shocking & quite clear he wasn't fully understanding what he was agreeing to. Just says comp entries on bank statement so I didnt even know who they were when I cancelled his bank card. They apparently continued entering him into totally unsuitable competitions for a further 2 months b4 sending an arrears letter. I then sent them a polite email enclosing a copy of a letter from my fathers GP explaining that he is not capable of managing his financial affairs etc due to his condition & could they cancel the contract. What I got back was a rather rude & very unprofessional response. To cut a long story short my elderly relative received a letter from the debt collectors asking for more money than previously requested.I was prepared to take this all the way reported them to Trading Standards & still thinking about going to the media mental health is a hot topic at the moment so I have been told there would be a lot of media interest (my relative has now been moved to a care home) the debt collectors have now closed our account (obviously agreeing that we have a good case) & passed us back to Win24. Will continue to fight them if we receive further correspondence, absolutely disgraceful treatment of an elderly vulnerable gentleman.

CRIMINALS!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

I URGE EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN CONNED BY THIS COMPANY TO REPORT THE INCIDENT TO TRADING STANDARDS VIA CITIZENS ADVICE. I HAVE!

Win24 have been hounding me for money since January, £103.73 they claim I owe them in unpaid subscription fees. When I first had a letter from a debt collection agency I had no idea what it was about. It's since come to light that back in October last year I foolishly agreed to a monthly subscription of £12.95 following a telephone call from a Win34 representative. I was told I could cancel at any time & that I would receive all the information in the post. I have never received anything from Win24 via post! At no point in the call was it made clear I was agreeing to a 24 month contract which could not be cancelled untill after this period & no contact details or terms & conditions were given to me. I never paid any money to Win24! The first I knew of any issues was when I received a letter from a debt collection agency. Numerous emails have been sent to try to resolve this with no success. Like everyone else the one telephone conversation I tried to have with Win24 was pointless. Not helpful, terrible attitude & very condescending. I'm not a stupid woman but the person I spoke to left me in tears & feeling like an absolute idiot. They've yet to be able to explain to me how I owe them £103.73 which by my calculations is over 8 months of fees at £12.95, yet I only first spoke to them in October!

Although this is causing me a lot of stress I'm not budging! Win24 mislead me into agreeing to a subscription I never would have agreed to had I known the facts. I will not be paying this company a penny & I'm willing to fight it all the way. If you've been unlucky enough like me to be duped by this company, I urge you to report it to Trading Standards & not pay these fraudsters another penny! Sooner or later the law which catch up with these criminals!

Wow seeing all the reviews is …

Wow seeing all the reviews is shocking, luckily I only had one payment taken even though I cancelled within 1 week and they still took money,I cancelled my card and hadn't heard from them until today.
The same woman Melanie who took my details last December,we are now nearly in May,rang and was all nice to me until I said i cancelled within my time and have notified my bank she then put phone down. It's a long story but Jesus what stress and never have I had this happen before. Don't worry all they will have the law onto them soon enough as they have been to obvious that they are a scam company and should be ashamed. I hope they get sued and everyone gets money back. And the email address goes to South Africa apparently who know nothing. And the phone number just gives an automated message, that's so you cant cancel however I have many emails so I'll be suing them if I dare receive a debt letter.
Bless you all

I had to cancel my membership due to financial reasons. On speaking to someone at win24 I got nowhere! I have been a member for some time and it sounded good from the way it was sold to me, but I have never won a single thing, and they refuse to acknowledge the fact that I can't afford to throw money down the toilet. Very condescending over the phone!!! Everyone beware of signing up to this!!

DO NOT SIGN UP!!! Ripping good honest people off. Extremely hard to get out of a 24 month contract. The telephone representatives made it sound amazing how there are always winners. I've been with them now for 12 months and won diddly squat. SAVE YOUR MONEY and STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

UPDATE 03/07/18 - Thieves! This company has just set up another DD without my approval and just tried to take £100 from me!!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM. LIARS AND THIEVES.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. I was not advised I was tied into a contract for 24 months. My husband has been taked seriously ill so no income coming in. I cancelled the direct debit after speaking to a Nick on the telephone at Win24, he said he would cancel the contract and that was that! I was then bombarded with calls from a Kyle was is the rudest person I have ever dealt with and said no matter my husband is seriously ill and I have to provide for our 3 children I am legally bound into this contract until September and if I dont pay they will pass to a debt collector. They have lied to me me and have shown NO compassion and basically told me I didnt speak to a Nick and said that conversation never took place. I have asked for the Ombusman on numerous occasions and they refuse to give this to me! This has made me ill!!!!!!! Shame on them!

Not to be trusted

A representative from save £ win, also known as Win24 contacted me via the phone, during the month of November 2016. After a lengthy discussion I foolishly I gave over my account details, but not before expressing I did not want to be committed to any type of long term contract, and I would need confirmation via the post of legitimacy. I was reassured by the rep that all information regarding terms and conditions and contact details would be sent to me shortly. After not receiving anything, no letters, calls or any correspondence from save £ win, I assumed it was a 1 off and forgot about the whole thing. To my surprise, mid February, I received a letter stating I now owe £39.99 to Win24 which could not be retrieved from my account. I called to inform them that I was unaware that I had been entered into a contract, and had received no correspondence from them stating this. They in turn sent me the recording of the conversation, which clearly hear's me saying.. I do not want to be entered into a contract, and everything else previously mentioned. I contacted them again, to explain AGAIN that I had not received a welcome letter which would have provided my terms and conditions, which outlays the 14 day cancellation policy and that its a 24 month subscription! They sent me a "duplicate" welcome letter and certificate a week later after the telephone conversation, dated 16/03/17 but received on the 22/03/16. And a week after that I received a letter from debt collection agencies stating I now owe £79.99. In their save & win terms and conditions, it states "A contract between you and us will be formed and binding on receipt of our welcome letter". And that you can cancel your contract for any reason within 14 working days on receipt of our welcome letter. This letter never arrived, and it has caused suspicion as to whether it was sent at all, so to bind people into a contract without the option of cancellation. The first correspondence was to inform me I owe them money. It seems to be a matter of my word against there's. And their " friendly" customer service team have not been particularly helpful at all. I would advise when embarking on these telephone conversations with these companies, do not give over your account details, investigate the company first so your clear about what your getting into, as I have found them to be completely misleading. Also insiste they tell you if there is a contract and how long the it lasts for, as they fail to mention this during the initial conversation. They more evade that question or in my case dismiss it.

Stay Away

I am now in my final month, thank the lord. Like the other reviewers I feel I have wasted my money. It was never made expressly clear to me that after the initial 14 days there was no way I could get out of the contract. After 5 months I decided I didn't want to contribute any more, I cancelled my Direct debit and then received intimidating phone calls which I would go so far as to say were menacing in the tone taken. It was made clear that debt collectors would be used if I didn't continue. I have since paid by bank transfer each month. I have now written to them informing them I do not wish to renew. Don't go anywhere near this company

Throwing Money Away

I joined Win24 over 2 years ago and never had any form of a win or contact since joining, this was an utter waste of time and more so a waste of my hard earned money, I would have had more enjoyment throwing £11.25 a month ( £270 over 2 years ) down the drain. Also when I called to cancel I was told I had to email in to do so, every email I sent under the heading of cancellation came back as unable to find domain, as Win24 had my debit card and CVI number they continued to take further payments on my card. The only way I could stop this was to cancel my card and have a new card issued with a different security number, take my advice give then a wide berth and keep you money in your pocket.
