I've have invested with Cult Wines to build a balanced portfolio for a number of years & made multiple introductions. Bertie who looks after me has been a total star on multiple fronts! Fantastic access to under valued product + analysis + responsiveness + fun tastings. A very interesting non beta asset class (if you can access the right product at the right price and diversify your portfokio imhv).
I’ve invested with Cult Wine for number of years and my Invesment Manager is now Paul Declerck. Unlike my previous manager Paul had kept me informed and been very patient with me, not pushy at all and been very helpful. If you’re thinking diversifying your investment it’s worth giving Cult Wine and Paul a call!
We have worked along side Cult Wines for many years inviting our HNW clients along to their wine tasting events. The staff at Cult Wines are friendly, welcoming and professional. The events are relaxed and fun and the hosts/wine ambassadors draw you in with their passion and wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend.
As a low risk investment novice and without any wine trading or fine wine drinking experience, I took the leap into wine investments with Kenny. He has been a great source of information, recommendations and support for me so far into the journey of investing with cult wines. My favorite qualities of Kenny as a wine advisor is that he is analytical, balanced and shares insights and opinions over the various regions of wines. He helps me understand the what and whys of my portfolio and patiently answers my questions.
I respect Kenny and he has become my go-to for queries on wine investments, recommendations and wine logistics.
Cult wines is also a great wine investment firm with a wide variety of wines and great insider prices to buying fine wines. Their technology platform to see the portfolio on is a smoother user experience akin to modern traders.
Joined cult as a client 1 year ago, it's been a wonderful journey. Great wines, even greater returns.
I have started investing with Cult Wine for the first time in Jan 2022 and I have really found the whole experience enjoyable and rewarding. My Invesment Manager Paul Declerck has been extremely helpful to educate me first on the Wine investment in general and to come up with some brilliant investment advices that are starting to pay off. Looking forward to keep investing and building my portfolio...
Just wanted to say a big thank you for keeping an eye on my portfolio and keeping me informed on what to sell and buy so as to make the best of my investment.
Cult Wines have served me well over the years, and their advice has been invaluable. So my thanks to you Bert and your colleagues for making my investment work for me.
Kenny has always been willing to go above and beyond in terms of providing advice on my portfolio. He is very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. I will refer any of my friends that are interested in wine investment to him.
A joined cult wines two years ago; and the results have been excellent, with good gains across th board. The projected benefits have translated well when I asked for stock to be sold. The service, notably Bertie Stemp has been excellent.
I have been with Cult wines for 18 months now and have found the experience to be very positive. I have learnt a lot, stimulating/promoting an interest in wine, not only as an asset but for pleasure also! A great relationship has developed with Bertie, who appreciates i'm still learning but also gives me enough info to challenge my understanding. He is very open, super responsive and my portfolio has done really, really well so far. I have recommended to others and they all have had great experiences.
I have just completed a programme of investment I greed with my account manager, Bertie Stemp and feel compelled to post a review.
I had been discussing wine with 'Cult' for a number of years and began investing in earnest in 2019.
I have found them open and transparent and I have diverted some other assets into wine for them to manage.
The staff I have dealt with on the phone have always come across as helpful and responsive with a good knowledge of their subject and others I have met at their offices are equally knowledgeable. I am happy with their advice and the performance of my portfolio, even taking into account the bumps in the road caused by Covid.
I'm sure this is typical, as I would recommend them on my own experience
I was initially skeptical--because the investment level required to "realise true gains" kept moving up--but having now been invested for a couple years I have nothing but positive things to say about Cult Wines and specifically my advisor there, Bertie Stemp. Bertie is incredibly attentive to my portfolio, pro-actively suggesting when we should close positions to take a gain, identifying new opportunities, even remembering small things I said years ago and acting on them. He's much more attentive than professional money managers I have taking care of much more investments in other asset classes. I've recommended Cult to several friends and wouldn't hesitate to do so for anyone considering wine as an investment category.
I have nothing but praise for the quality of service and investment returns that I have received from Cult. Always very approachable and knowledgeable, a pleasure to deal with. I have been impressed by the proactive approach that they have taken in managing the portfolio, and the returns generated. Take a bow Daniel and Bertie.
I have just started investing with Cult and I am really happy with the full service I receive from my sales manager Paul.
Let’s see how my portfolio will perform:)
My wine investments started in 2012 with different company having 10 positions in my portfolio. Moving my assets to Cult Wines in 2017 I was advised that my portfolio is not balanced, have some poor positions so I listened and agreed to rearrange stock selling vintage 2012 after 5 years earning on positions +14 %, +13%, +40%, +31%, +54%, +32%, +30%, +42%, +31%, -11% --> just one Pontent-Canet was on the loss side. Instead of 10 items I had now 8 item, bought in 2017 (vintage 2010-2016). In 2019 seeing very poor behavior of portfolio I've decided to sell all my assets and exit Cult Wine Investment, but ... time went past and I didn't pay much attention, simply forgot. It took Cult Wines 2 years starting 01.10.2019 to 04.10.2021 to sell my assets with following losses on positions -20%, -19%, -7%, -12%, -1%, -12%, +19%, -3% --> only 1 position C.Dugat on plus side. Vintages 10, 7 years old sold with a loss? How is it possible? They have laughed about positions in my portfolio when I came to them and all of their picks except of one - lost!!! lost my money. It's good previous company did way better so it wasn't that pointful. More, I have wrote to them asking about my portfolio and I found out that they were sitting on my cash for more than 6 months not even telling me they have liquified my portfolio in full :D Hang on, according to Scott Fisher "We would normally process the cash back on request after the completion of the sale" - so remember, you are their secretary, you have to ask, as they will not let you know, why would they? Needed to threaten with my solicitor to receive a reply from Bertie Stemp. Needed to threated with a solicitor and going public to receive answer from Scott Fisher later on. Oh! he didn't informed me the wire was made as well, needed to remember that for him too... and ask. This is truly bad. Maybe because I'm not British but Polish they treated me the way they did, had a problem with it, simply ill-will, not professional at all. I really wonder who writes them that flowless reviews ...

Being in asset management myself, I spent a lot of time doing due diligence on wine investment firms and am very glad I chose to work with Cult Wines. It's been 2.5 years now and their service, performance and professionalism, have been as advertised.
I'm especially glad they have established a permanent presence in the UAE. Their tasting events in Dubai are a great place to taste some well crafted wines and to meet some like-minded wine enthusiasts.
Very professional and hands on team .
They have a lot of industry insights as well .
A highly recommended company
Happily invested with CultWines in the past year and the service / product / team / process is excellent and I am positively surprised. The curated portfolio and investment recommendations helped me in diversifying my portfolio while also learning about an asset class that is intresting to me.
Glad that CultWines now have an office in Dubai to serve the regional market and get likeminded investors connected locally.
Just joined Cult Wine. Really impressed with their website and user portal. The onboarding was super easy and the account pages are really intuitive to navigate and exceeds our expectations as to content. Well done to the Cult Wine development team! Plus the people I've dealt with so far, Jonathan and Lorine, are so helpful and generous with their time.
Updated review from 2016 to 5 stars. The managers are exceptionally good and their knowledge second to none. By diversifying my wine allocation has paid nicely and I have a portfolio that is only going to grow from strength to strength. Very interesting way to invest and now my knowledge of wine and champagne has grown. Well done to all at Cult Wine look forward to another good year
