We would highly recommend Aaran , Fabian and the whole team at Winkworth Kensal Rise. Extremely supportive and helpful, especially for first time renters. Very smooth transition and felt supported by this trustworthy team throughout.

AVOID NOTTING HILL BRANCH IF YOU ARE A RENTER!! This agency will priorities profit from a commission on a 2500 flat than morals and basic human respect. I have been verbally abused, a neighbour attempted to force entry into my flat and physically assault me and my partner has been called a bastard and numerous racist remarks made to him and all they care about is a sad little one bed flat. I have police reports and video evidence of this which they cannot deny. I rented a property on Newton Road as a single woman and the building had the most anti social and dangerous neighbours I have ever come across! The landlord knows about their behaviour as she rented the flat out for many years. I’ve been shouted at by the man on the second floor and had an attempted physical assault by the men on the first floor and constant abuse throughout my stay! The landlord did not apologies until the agency told her so they could save face! They could come and say I could’ve left but is the landlord willing to bear the costs and the time I have to spend viewing flats and costs of transporting my belongings that are already in the 3rd floor of the building with no lift? Prioritising money and landlord over tenant safety is extremely low as they went ahead and still marketed it again. The property is a one bed, below average and they are treating it like it’s the most precious castle while treating tenants like peasants! Been living in London for over 5 years and never in my life been so disappointed by an agency and landlord! Really atrocious behaviour by the rental management team.
They also have no idea what is in the apartment contacting me to ask if its furnished or not to market it like its not the lazy landlord’s job! They have no manners or respect bombarding me with messages for viewings when I have clearly stated I am with my mother and I cannot accommodate more viewings!
I was living there for 6 months with a gas leak which I did not make too much fuss about because I had great landlords before who deserved the benefit of the doubt! This landlord however would ignore my messages requesting a fan for the oven hub! How cheap and pathetic.
On top of all of this it took them 3 weeks to release my deposit, first the landlord wanted to take too much money then it was passed as an “innocent mistake of miscalculation” then they want to put in the deposit release that it is “required” of me to share proof that I’ve informed the suppliers of moving out and proof of that all of my council tax is paid what an absolute joke! They did not clarify admit that they legally cannot request such things until I have confronted them that I know I am not legally required to give them anything.
The lettings manager and the landlord are such disgusting human beings for being two women okay with this insanity, all for a sad little commission from 2500 a month flat if your morals and manners are that low and cheap don’t work at an estate agency there are better fitting industries for you to thrive in.

I've had dealings with many of the estate agents in Highcliffe over the years. I only wish I had chosen to use Winkworth first instead of last. I can recommend Winkworth Highcliffe wholeheartedly. They have been professional, friendly and competent. They respond to phone calls and emails promptly. Harvey was proactive in chasing the sale along and liaising with all concerned. And when the sale hit a problem Mike was amazing at dealing with solicitors on both side to overcome it. Frankly, I would have given up if it hadn’t been for the hard work of Harvey and Mike. Winkworth have been a lifesaver. I had a bad experience with another local estate agent before coming to Winkworths. The contrast was night and day. Which is not surprising given their many years of working knowledge in the Greenwich area.

They were open, friendly and honest from the start. From Guy Epps the Director viewing my property and working with me to shape the description together with Deborah taking amazing photos and a video walkthrough, they really showed off my property to its full glory.

Then taking the new house profile and activating their extensive network of buyers, they were so successful that I received an offer on the first weekend of viewings! Which was amazing given my previous bad experience.

Their team work to carry me through the full end to end process then kicked in. Gillian fielding requests from solicitors And both parties with supreme professionalism and tact was always reassuring even when I was feeling the stress that invariably comes when selling a house. Even John in lettings was equally in my corner helping me with my next move.

I really can’t recommend Winkworth enough. You really can’t beat them.

Based on my experience with Winkworth Beckenham, I would not recommend this estate agent to anyone who intends to rent out their property. It was the first time for us to let our home and we rented it out with some furniture. When the tenants vacated the property, they walked away with the furniture and the attempts made afterwards to recover it were in vain. We had to spend over £1,200 to replace the furniture. What is perhaps even more concerning is that Winkworth Beckenham found another property for the tenants in question, in full knowledge that they were not people of integrity.

Steve Brown and the whole team at Winkworth were superb. Commercial, responsive and courteous. Highly recommend the firm and in particular Steve Brown.

Winkworth handled the sale of our house in Streatham, taking over after we had an awful experience with another agent. They were amazing from start to finish. Charlie from the Streatham branch was our initial recommendation, who was great, and then the actual sale was dealt with by Simon from the Herne Hill branch. He was brilliant, finding us a serious buyer on first viewing, and then going above and beyond throughout the process to ensure everything progressed smoothly and taking the stress off of us. I would absolutely recommend.

After sending many emails trying to arrange a viewing, calling and being cut off, I was rudely and abruptly spoken to. Incompetent and incapable employees. My interest was dismissed and my situation wasn't even asked after, nor my telephone number or name for the viewing. Awful customer service from their NW office.

We recently sold our house through Winkworth Greenwich and we’re happy about how Guy and his team have managed the operation, in particular getting the exchange and completion dates was complex, and they truly made the difference getting things done.

In particular, John, did an exceptional work moving the chain along to agreement and making sure things were in order on both ends of the chain.. I do recommend them.

Absolutely rude and disrespectful staff. I have never been spoken to in such a rude way with an employee raising their voice with me. They do not have respect for people time and get frustrated if you have a slow response time (couple of hours if less) because you are at work.

Stay away from Winkworth Shoreditch

We had a great experience with Winkworth, both their Blackheath and Greenwich branches. Gillian, Nicola, Becca and Guy were all warm, friendly and professional. I was so impressed because not only did they get back to me quickly with answers to my many queries(!), they also were speedy at communicating between myself, my solicitor and our buyer. After feeling jaded from dealing with another estate agent previously, (who we frequently had to chase up), working with the staff at Winkworth was a welcome and refreshing change.

The worst company to deal with as a cash buyer. Incompetent and incapable of putting a deal together.

Aaron and Shaun did a great job renting out my property. I would highly recommend the team at Winkworths. They were always on hand to offer advice and provide assistance.
