Gavin the sales guy here seems to think it’s ok to tell lies to customers and gazump them should a better deal come along. Watch out!! I reserved a car and agreed a deal, only to be told later they couldn’t find service history and they could not sell me the car. I agreed to take the car without the history and then they suddenly say the car is now sold. Ha this in not the way to treat customers. See attached messages and times all on same day - this is on my Google review .

I bought a car of these guys about 4/5 weeks ago. PX my car with them and they delivered my Renault Megane to my door where i exchanged car keys and deposited £3K into their account along with a separate deposit of $400. When the driver/mechanic left he didn't bother to inform me that there was a knocking noise on the front end of car or the drivers passenger window didn't work nor the horn along with other issues, he did tell the salesman when he got back about knocking noise that got worse as he was driving the car down. At first they were great at answering their phone and replying but now when i ring or text they ignore me. My mechanic took a look under the car and the track rods on both sides had movement but rusted solid so he replaced them and Wirral cars gave me back the labour money minus £20. Knocking noise is still there and mechanic has booked car in for the 12th to replace driver side strut etc at my cost as wirral cars say we put the fault down to the track rods so i have to pay for this work out of my own pocket. i've paid out for the wheel alignment which is probably why Wirral cars had 3 x new tyres fitted on the morning it was delivered to me. All the other issues of the broken drivers passenger window, the horn, the spanner warning light when you press the button on the drivers door that is supposed to control the rear passenger windows still haven't been rectified. All these faults should have been picked up by their mechanics at their workshops and rectified but obviously haven't hence why i keep calling Wirral cars. The car has a 6mth warranty so why are you not answering my messages or calls and sorting this out a.s.a.p?. If they don't sort this out i'll contact an Ombudsman and report them. I'm not shelling out £3.5K for a car with faults. People/dealerships think if they just ignore you you'll go away, we shall see shall we Wirral Car Sales.
