Wasn’t quite enough yarn in whichever color the gauge swatch was in to finish the blanket. Ended up having to unravel the swatch. Even just a little scrap yarn in the kit for gauge would have been helpful. I’m a tight knitter, so many folks may not have this problem, but especially for a simple project, allowing for a little more variance would be great! Aside from that, this was an excellent first project, and I’m super happy with the results.
I was worried after the mixed reviews, but this kit is great! The cotton is very soft and the instructions are clear and very easy for a beginner. This was my first complete project and it came out great!

I haven’t started working on this project yet, but I love the cotton yarn already! I look forward to making it after I order the needles, which were out of stock when I purchased the kit. They have informed me via email that the needles back and available for purchase again!
