A beautiful fun and easy cardigan kit
The yarn is beautiful, vibrant and soft, I’m knitting the cardigan kit for my daughter as a birthday present and we chose different colours to the pattern suggestion. I have almost completed the cardigan as it knits up really quickly. My only issue is that the dusty denim yarn had quite a few ‘joins’ other than that it was a wonderful kit. I highly recommend it.

Your cotton yarn is wonderful! It is so smooth, easy to work with, and no splits. I will definitely be buying all my yarn needs from Wool and the Gang!

Problems with delivery
My order didn’t turn up with Evri, and I had to follow this up to find out more. I was told it had been damaged, and they would re-send via DHL. The first DHL parcel turned up with two balls of yarn in the wrong colour, then when the right colour was sent only one ball was sent, so it ended up being one lost Evri parcel and 3 DHL ones to get a fairly small order right.
All the contact I had with them was great, but to choose Evri in the first place to deliver parcels, and then make mistakes when correcting the issue means I don’t feel I can rate them higher.

Fantastic Customer Serive
I received my order in good time. Loved the kit with the pattern, needles and wool. Beautifully presented and great quality.
Then disaster! I left my pattern on a train. Wool and the Gang were so quick to respond and in no time I had a pdf version and was able to continue with my project. Excellent customer service!

The videos & the booklet really helped…
The videos & the booklet really helped me figure out how to knit! This is a great beginner project and got me through the days I was struggling with a bad cold. It was a good experience to have a kit with nice fluffy wool, pretty wood knitting needles, & a helpful booklet. ☺️
I haven’t finished it yet, it’ll be a while, but I’m grateful to have learned a new skill.

DO NOT BUY this wool until Wool and The…
DO NOT BUY this wool until Wool and The Gang find a new manufacturer. It used to be a 12 out of 10. Now the way it’s woven into the ball it won’t allow you to easily find the end to start knitting and it becomes a big knot. I bought 12 balls last year and they were amazing. 8 this year and I cannot knit without stopping to take so much time to figure out how to unwind the knots. That’s why it’s on sale

I'm so sorry to hear that you've experienced an issue with your yarn. We work closely with all of our yarn manufacturers and conduct regular inspections of our yarn to ensure that the best quality yarn is being produced for our customers. However, in some instances, you may find small knots in your yarn (particularly natural fibres!) which sadly cannot be 100% avoided by any yarn manufacturer and is not exclusive to Wool and the Gang.
