Pattern is good for beginners, yarn is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend this kit to beginner. The fuzziness of the yarn (which would be soft if I could ever finish) keeps tangling on itself and the smoothness of the yarn means it is constantly falling off the crochet hook when it isn't tangled. Very frustrating experience as a first time customer
