I wish the instructions were more clear in the hat kit. Instead of saying “back or front of the stitch” it should state BLO/FLO. For example, for front of the stitch, I did a regular single crochet and my hat came out more flat.

Pattern not great.
Disappointed to discover that this kit does not contain enough raffia to complete the hat. It would have been much cheaper to buy the pattern and the raffia separately, but I was happy to pay the premium to ensure I had the precise type and amount of raffia that I needed, so very frustrating to end up with not enough.

bought this kit as a gift for someone with intermediate crocheting skills, they love it! kit comes complete with everything you need to complete the project, the directions are very easy to follow and very informative, guiding you step by step, great gift!!

I'm still working on this hat--not finished yet! The pattern instructions are clear and easy to follow. I'm looking forward to the finished product!
Really enjoyed making the hat, but I did run out of raffia, so the rim is slightly smaller than the pattern. I'm a fairly loose crocheter, which may be why.
