The ordering process was easy. The delivery not quite so good.

The ordering process was very straightforward. I came to woolworths through quidco, and have now had to raise a claim through quidco as I am not sure that the cash back is coming through or not. As it was a £620 order this is very frustrating and I hope that woolworths will sort this out immediately. The delivery did NOT go to the address I specified (which was not my home address). The product was fine, but the delivery man did NOT inform us about removing transit screws from the washing machine and this was found out by chance. Overall I would be slightly hesitant about using them again.

Unhelpful Customer Service

My first order, a bike for my sons 4th birthday, I build and on completion the last piece a 'BEN 10' sleeve is missing. I phone up and ask for them to send out the missing piece. Which they say they will. I wait one week and phone for update, they no longer sell the bike. I check website, bike still selling. I phone and ask for missing piece again. They say they will apply for and send out. One week later I receive a letter asking me to send back the bike my son has been riding around on for three weeks because they cannot send! I ask, they cannot reach into a box and pull out the missing item and stick in the post. No its easier for me send back a bike fully built and them to send a whole new bike. First order, last order. Not sensible

FAILURE!

I`m being asked what I think of the product/service but I think you`re a little bit premature in asking as I havn`t received the flaming thing yet!! Was told May 29th and tracker says "DELIVERY on 29th May" but here I am with still no item on the 9th of June despite 2 phone calls to ask why. As it was ordered as a birthday prezzy for my autistic son I was hoping you`d be reliable. Alas.....not! The customer service team (while very friendly) give absolutely no information what-so-ever!!
Someone will call me back they say.
When??
When they know something.
What am I supposed to do then just sit and wait indeffinately???
Woolworths....... It takes time to build up a good reputation but it`s very quick to lose it!!

Don't bother ordering if you expect prompt deliver, and good customer service

My daughter's 8th birthday was fast approaching, and she had her heart set on a Disney "Frozen" costume. After trawling through all the online toy shops and ebay, it seemed that I was never going to find an Elsa Frozen costume at a reasonable price. I had already bought her the dolls and lots of other stuff so didn't want to spend too much more. I was delighted to stumble across Woolworths online and discover that they sold a reasonably priced Elsa costume in my daughter's size, that was actually in stock unlike so many other online retailers.
I placed the order over 2 weeks before her birthday, feeling reassured that it would definitely arrive in time for her big day.
About a week before her birthday, I became concerned as it hadn't yet arrived, so I rang customer services. I was given some vague and garbled explanation of it being missed off the courier's van, and when I asked if likely to arrive in time for daughter's birthday she said she could not guarantee this.
My daughter's face when I had to explain to her on her birthday that it had not yet arrived, said it all. Thanks Woolworths!
Her birthday was on a Friday, and the following Monday still no parcel, so I rang them again. I couldn't believe it when she said that the order had been cancelled for some reason! I then had to place and pay for the order again (they had refunded the original payment onto my card, which I shall be checking asap). Although in fairness to the lady I spoke to this day, she was apologetic, and she also arranged for an express next day delivery at no extra charge. Finally the parcel arrived the following day, and yes I am happy with it, and my daughter loves it, but NO I shall never ever order from Woolworths again and I would never recommend them to a friend either am afraid!!!

Excellent service can't beat it

Ordered washing machine and fridge freezer both delivered at expected time problem with washing machine scratch on front was soon sorted and a new washing machine was delivered very shortly i would recommend Woolworths to anybody who wants quality products and fast delivery thanks i am a very happy customer :-)

Nice product, nice price, nice service- but wrong SIM card

I ordered a Nokia 105 phone for my daughter who has a record of breaking/losing phones. The is one seems good and sturdy, unlocked, which is handy, and not too expensive. It arrived in good time too, well- packed. And she loved the bright blue colour. But the free SIM card enclosed was a micro-sim, whereas the phone takes an ordinary larger SIm.

Didn't have item in stock even though it was stated as being in stock on site.

Purchased a Supergirl outfit for my daughters fancy dress day at school. Stated as being in stock on website also received confirmation email and payment was taken. Item never arrived so I emailed customer services who said the item was out of stock (still stated as being in stock on site). Took 3 days for money to be refunded. I managed to get an outfit just in time thanks to Amazon and Express Delivery!! Unacceptable. I didn't want a credit account. I only wanted to buy 1 item! Worst website ever. Also was sent 3 emails telling me to fill this in. So now I have and I bet they wish I hadn't.

great product shame about the service

Woolworths was easy to order from no problem there. but they REALLY need to change or have words with their courier: Arrow xl. first I get a delivery date that I am unable to keep because of my work, but the email and card said I can phone to arrange another date. brilliant or so I thought. the person on the phone said I could not arrange another date as the parcel was already on the truck to be delivered regardless of whether I'm their or not, so they made a wasted journey. I phoned a second time, they said arranged a new date, I sat in and no one turned up. I had to phone them. they said they had lost the parcel, it's a double mattress how do you lose something this big!!!
I was told they would contact me to arrange a new date, after waiting two days I had to phone them myself AGAIN. arranged another new date . as it happens it was third time lucky, the delivery men phoned early in the day to give me a window and they turned up at the end of this window. the delivery was over and dune with in five minuets.

website was good - delivery was a total disaster!

The website and product i purchased was very good. Unfortunately the whole experienced was ruined by the delivery.

You stated next day delivery. I had a text from woolworths to confim it was on its way. I followed the tracker link which said it had left the depot.

I waited all day til 7pm on the friday and nothing arrived. I phoned up and was told it must still be on the van and would be delivered the following day. The tracker said that the parcel that evening had in fact just reached the Hull depot... so there was no way it would of been heading to me!

I waited in again all day saturday and nothing arrived.

Monday was a bank holiday.

On the tuesday i had a live chat on the delivery service website at 9am. All of my delivery details were confirmed and i was inform that i would definitely have my order by early afternoon.

By 2pm nothing had arrived so i made another live chat on their website.... only to be told that they had no recolection of my previous chats and that the delivery would now be heading out to me on the Wednesday.

At this stage i blew my top and insisted they keep to their original conversation that morning and deliver on the Tuesday. After a lot of agro and phone calls i eventually got delivery at 5.45pm on the tuesday.

They used the excuse that they didnt have the correct delivery address... but this was confirmed with them on numerous occassions.

This was supposed to of been a birthday present for the saturday. It turned into an expensive and time consuming waist of of a bank holiday weekend.

If Woolworths were a decent company, they should compensate my inconvenience.

TOOK MY MONEY AND WONT GIVE IT BACK

Ordered a laptop from them for £1500 which i paid for with my card. A few days later recieved an email saying order would not be fullfilling the order. I rang and asked why but yet they wouldnt tell me. I asked for my money back and they said they didnt have it yet my bank confirmed they did. They now wont give my money back and keep hanging up when I try, Total fraudsters and the worst customer service i have recieved.

hard work

good web site easy to order, different when deliverd, just had a washer deliverd damaged rang woolworths told i would have to reorder then told it was different price, could have it deliverd on friday but could not collect damaged washer at same time this would be next week some time so left in a one bed pensioners flat with little room and two washers, customer service made me feel it was my fault and they were doing me a favor , so now im owing for two washers on my account got a damaged washer in middle of kitchen will not fit under unlesss i unpack it , so helpfull woolworths,

Great product & a brilliant service from start to finish

I've sorely missed Woolworths since its HIgh Street demise so was delighted to see the name pop up in a Google search for a TV. Good old Woolie's didn't disappoint! My Samsung TV was cheaper here than anywhere else, delivery was free & the guarantee longer than that offered elsewhere. I was updated by text & email on delivery & the TV arrived bang on time - no waiting in all day as if my time isn't important! I really couldn't fault either the product or service (actually I couldn't offer any improvements either). Perfect!
