woolworths is by far the absolute worst company i have ever purchased from
the experience of purchasing from woolworths has been catastrophically bad , I was going to list all the issues I had but there are too many so in brief . Everything was done wrong , the staff on the phone although very polite are inept at dealing with anything I requested , my complaint emails were answered but clearly not read , the courier company are abysmal in every aspect . and still months on all the issues have not been rectified . I hate woolworths and don't ever want to have to deal with them again ...
Great shopping experience
I bought a bed for my daughter from Woolworths online. It has great products with great prices & you can choose a delivery time that suits you. Its fab. The bed arrived when it should have & the bed is great my daughter loves it & its just what we needed. I would order again from Woolworths Online its Fab.
very dissappointing service
I do hope this is treated as a serious complaint re recent Order Reference: 601577754617 . Firstly it was not delivered on the agreed date, thus I had to use 2 holidays days from my allocation for the original intended date and the subsequent received delivery.
To compound the unit had two missing important parts, this was reported to your customer services team this week, but I have neither had any info baco to resolve this issue nor have I had any replacement parts.
Before I speak to trading standards I would like some one to treat this case seriously

cancelled item with no explanation?
After ordering the new Samsung neo 2 watch I checked the order status and watched it go through the stages without any issues. On the day it was supposed to be delivered however it came up cancelled. I then phoned customer services to see what was going on. Firstly I was blamed for it, they said I had cancelled it and re ordered it which I knew I hadn't but I had to persuade the staff member that was the case. I then got transferred to another department thinking my account had been hacked. I was assured it hadn't been but a staff member for some reason cancelled my order and re ordered it.. I still don't know why. The fact I specifically booked a day off work to receive the delivery frustrated things further. The item was sent out in the end and I received it 3 days later. NOT GOOD.

The mattress cool cover is lovely.
The quilt which is advertised as cool by Silentnight and good for the hot summer is a 13.5 tog and seems warm to us- but soft and new and snuggly.

Fantastic Service - Exceeded my expectations
I have ordered several items online and they were mainly in stock and arrived when they said they would. I was quite surprised that some items even arrived earlier than thought. I think that the whole shopping experience is good and easy to use. The only suggestion I would make is for your delivery company to provide me specific times for delivery or allow delivery to a nominated address as I am sure you can appreciate people work and do not want to be taking time off to collect the items.

Poor Customer Service
I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Delivery time was estimated about five days out. Yodel delivered two days before that.
Wrong product. I opened the package and there was a box containing a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 inside. I called Woolworth immediately.
They told me they would set up a return pick up from courier. I asked for the correct product to be sent out, but I was told I would have to wait until the wrong one was returned and examined, and that would take up to 14 days. I replied that as it was their mistake, and not mine, they should be prepared to send out the correct item immediately.
They refused. Very poor customer service, as they obviously are not interested in correcting their mistakes, nor caring about their customers.
The courier didn't arrive the next day, so I had to call their expensive rip-off 0844 number again, and waste more time and money to get a pickup the following day.
Meanwhile I located the item online at another major retailer, ordered it, and it was delivered the next morning.
I'll be much more likely to use this other retailer in future, rather than Woolworths.
Great product, terrible delivery by Yodel
Ordered some curtains, which, when they finally arrived, were fantastic, great quality and just what I had been looking for but unable to find anywhere else. However whole experience let down by the use of Yodel (whom I have reviewed seperately). I contacted woolies customer service team by email about the lack of/poor delivery service and was impressed with the speed at which they responded and kept me updated. In short, great product but choose another courier!
shameful!! Woolworths hang your heads.
Ordered bunk beds and mattresses 24th January paid in full. to be delivered on many dates not cancelled by them, took time from work sat waiting no beds. I have lost 5 x days pay from work waiting!!!! Today when they are expected tomorrow they have sent me an e-mail stating as we suspected they cannot supply them. They continued to ignore my calls and e-mails sent daily per Trading Standards and this has now gone to court for recompense and a refund after two months! Not one person has spoken to me personally despite recorded delivery letter of intent to go to court sent to Liverpool.
They have breached the Trading Standards Act and have been so ignorant! Shop somewhere else and save yourself the hassle as there are other reviews saying the same. Beds now supplied by Argos delivery next Tuesday, but we now have a court case to deal with. Woolworths have a gesture of GOODWILL refunded our delivery charge!!! A refund for something they did not provide - This is a measure of the company, please TAKE OUR ADVICE SHOP ELSEWHERE - THEY ARE SELLING THINGS THEY CANNOT PROVIDE AND MEANWHILE HAVE YOUR MONEY!!

Wouldn't order again
I ordered a number of items at the same time that were delivered separately. I received text messages saying parcels were delivered then didn't turn up at that time, wasting days. I was told that one item would be nearly 3 months for one item and the date for delivery kept changing.
It has yet to arrive and when I asked the customer service I was told it was the suppliers fault and nothing more than "sorry for your inconvenience"
Overall I would not recommend and would actively discourage ordering from Woolworths.
online as good as the high street
I used to shop in Woolworths on the high street and found their quality, service and value excellent, I have to say their online store is just as good. I found their website easy to navigate and understand, ordering the item I wanted was simple and quick and delivery was speedy, efficient and simple, with delivery men who were polite and helpful. I would recommend Woolworths.co.uk to anyone and will certainly be shopping with them again
