It used to be so good did this app. Now it sends you all over the place and the longest way.
I don't know what theyve done to it?
I thought it was just me but reading the other comments it seems im not alone.
I don't trust it now so have to plan my route using Google maps which is a pain.

Used to work fine now directions constantly interrupted by ads. Directions are screwed up. Thank God for Google maps or I may have never gotten home

It was a mistake to start Waze business account.
I started a business account. After the initial free amount of money given by them, my credit card started to lose money without any result. Their advertisement is not shown to anyone who drive to your direction. Their support send automated responses:

"Pins appearance on the Waze map is influenced by many factors such as your CPM and budget, your competitors CPMs and budgets, user driving speeds, current map zoom and display and more.
The amount of impressions may be influenced by the number of Waze users passing through the area, but also by how many other advertisers are advertising in the same area. Even when there is a high amount of users in the area, a high amount of advertisers may still limit the amount of impressions."

I have been trying to cancel this app for a few months now and they still charging my account. You cannot cancel this app once you sign up. Scammers!

Good app! But please stop showing advertisements every time I stop at a red light.

I live in the Bay area. I used the waze carpool app about 7-8 times, and the different driver stood me up three times! I don't have any reminders at all. I don't why! I called the driver, they just said they can not adjust. I think this app is very difficult to use!

I am using waze ever since it was launched. As an Israeli, we had the privilege of getting this App first and it was a game changer. However, since Google purchased waze, and since the options were removed about a year ago, the App is not behaving as it used to. It is not choosing the fastest route; it is making unreasonable choices when there is no reason to make a huge detour to my destination; it alerts about a nearby interchange when that particular interchange has been already past half an hour ago... and the list goes on an on. Shame that such a great App has been spoiled instead of improved. It is no longer a trustworthy App and in our last trip to Europe, I must say we did not trust waze as much as the installed App in the rental car, which was accurate, quick and very convenient. If anybody reads this - DO SOMETHING to give us back the great App we all loved.

I've been a WAZE champion for 2 years, but lately it seems the navigation is not providing work-around options for heavy traffic delays when able. Yesterday's situation was the clincher for me. Simple day drive from middle GA to Murfreesboro, TN, which is basically a straight shot I-75 to 24, turned into a nightmare. Since it was raining, I used WAZE to help guide me around possible issues. BIG MISTAKE. The 285 loop WAZE directed me on took me straight into a driver's nightmare of backups. The diversion added more than an hour to my drive in congestion that moved 0-5-10 MPH. I left Murfreesboro almost an hour and a half before my friend for return drive. He stayed on I-75, avoided the nightmare on 285 I hit, and got to the house before me. It was pouring rain and we both drove about 65-70 when able. Maybe it's the number of folks using the app? Very frustrating.

I find it most frustrating that the major roads on the map are only referred to by their highway number. The actual name should be provided if you zoom in. It does not help if you are wanting to preplan a trip or review the way that WAZE took you. There is nowhere on their website that you csn make a suggestion.

Waze kills dogs and people by redirecting traffic in Hollywood Hills at rush hour for streets not built as thruways. And google suppressing search results that look for this. FTC should investigate. Three dogs and two accidents have killed people because Of this

Useful app, especially when driving around a city which you are completely unfamiliar with. Takes care of such things as traffic jams and helps you avoid it. However, sometimes the routes chosen (in the city I know well) is not the fastest/best ones.

Wouldn't do any journey without it & I drive for a living. New roads appear fairly quickly. It constantly updates as you drive & you can quickly & easily report problems for other motorists. ie accident, traffic jam, pothole etc
It shows the speed limit which is great if you are unsure of an area.

An absolute disgrace of an app. Im certain that waze for most people causes the traffic, then for select people avoids it. I have honestly looked at waze and not understood the route it’s taken me, on instinct decided to go another way and then it knocks 10 minutes off the estimated time? Seriously if you live around London, do not use this app, it’s absolutely atrocious and will have you ripping the hairs put of your head.

I am in my 60s and I drove to Florida by myself. First time driving such a distance on my own. Waze helped every mile of the way. If not for Waze, I don't know where I would have ended up...lol. thank you Waze.

My trip to work 6 years ago was 25 minutes and pleasant! Since the Advent of Waze now it takes 45 to 50 minutes Waze traffic app is cluttering neighborhoods that had low traffic now they're streets have become highways thank you Waze what a disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡

I use Waze in the GTA area in Ontario. Waze used to be great, always helped to pick the faster route and avoided traffic. However, since around 18 months ago, it has failed to do so (rumors said it started to work with the city traffic center). It always directs me to get off highway to use city routes which 7 out of 10 times is a lot slower because of traffic, waiting for traffic lights, left/right turns ... etc.. Also, only occasionally gives me the route option with HOV lane. Reporting incident is much worse than before, so many clicks/taps, very distracting during driving. I’m starting to use Google map more now. Waze, you need to go back to the wait you use to work if you want to get more people to use it!!

Trying to get to a an actual person at Waze to remove a persons personal phone number from the Dulles Toll Road description. This person lives in Pennsylvania and doesn't even use the toll road in Virginia but gets multiple calls a day for someone wanting information. Tried logging into the community forums with no luck.

Good in the car not at all good for lorry drivers would be 5 stars if they had an update for it.
