Hi,
Here is a lesson learnt. There is still a lot to be said for shopping in a store, you can actually assess the quality of what your purchasing. The bedroom furniture I bought was about as poor as you can get for flat pack. bad fixings, bad drawings and poor quality with holes drilled in the wrong place etc. Needless to say I wont be using this store for anything again.

The worst company I have ever used
The worst company I have ever used. Bought a bed and mattress , bed fallen to pieces, to late over a year so no refund , mattress fell apart. Waitin* on refund . Meant to be collected today . Taken a day of work courier lied that road was closed , never in the ten years that I have lived at this address has the road been closed ,passed from pillar to post , still waiting for mattress to be picked up . Shocking products and customer service. Avoid this company at all costs people . I will be taking them to small claims court

Great prices and delivery went like a breeze.

Ordered bed for my 70 year old mum and advised delivery would be Tuesday 14th August. On the day had phone call saying courier van broke down and unable to deliver that day and would deliver the next (wednesday 15th), not a problem i am reasonable and these things happen. Wedneday 15th courier delivers matress and box 1 of 2 only. Due to working late on Wednesday i phoned world stores the next day (Thursday 17th) and customer service informed me they needed to investigate and may take 72 working hours to complete this (frustration now starting to build up as mum is now sleeping on matress on the floor as we got rid of old bed expecting order to arrive Tuesday 14th with the weekend this would mean waiting further 5 days). They refused my request to contact me the next day to update me but i could ring them. Phoned up Friday 17th to see if any progress - they have located missing box and scheduled delivery with me on Tuesday 21st yipee!! I was reassured this delivery would go ahead and if there was a problem they would communicate with me. However by 3pm on 21st, still no delivery, phoned world stores to ensure delivery would still be arriving (suspicious now). Very hesisitant customer service can see its in the stores and she will email courier to find out what happened (boiling point now). I requested a phone call back same day and was told i would get communication by email i told them this was not good enough and demanded a phone call back with a threat they can collect their incomplete order and give me a refund as the way my mum and i have been treated is unacceptable. I will purchase bed from ikea! Seriously dissapointed i feel i have been fobbed off and lied to.
Update:
17.50 on 21/8/18: No phone call back so i phoned the company for an update. Hudson (decided to take name this time) informed me that i had earlier been informed that there was not going to be a delivery today, i responded that was not the information i was given. Anyway after venting out my frustrstion to Hudson not using any foul language and stating the facts in a firm manner (i sensed he put me on mute during this period) he offered me an alternative delivery date of Thursday 23rd August (accepted as i am desperate). Hudson stated he is unable to give me the name of the person who is head of complaints and the CEO name is in the public domain but my complaint will never reach him.
22/8/17 rang worldstores to ensure delivery was still scheduled for tomorrow as per conversation with Hudson yesterday (as above update). Guess what?? Oh no delivery has been scheduled and there was confusion on which part was to be delivered. Marco this time reassured that delivery will be Friday 24/8/18 of the now located missing bed frame......"if the van doesn't break down" mmmmm.. sounds familiar. The saga (lies) continues!
23/8/18 update:
Received this text yesterday:
REMINDER: Your Bedroomworld order, xxxxx, is due to be delivered 23/08/2018. You will receive a text message with your time slot on the morning of the delivery, we deliver from 7am.
And then this text this morning:
We're sorry, we are unable to deliver your Bedroomworld order, xxxxx today due to a problem within our network. We apologise for the delay and the local delivery depot will be in contact within 48 hours to rebook your delivery.
At least i am now getting communication so should be grateful (😤). Will phone worldstores later this pm to see if i am 'really' scheduled a delivery tomorrow.......... and it goes on
24/8/18 Update:
Received following text on 23/8/18 15.00hrs

22.30hrs update:
Well well well the missing bedframe was delivered today despite the text message i wasn't to get a delivery. Phone call from courier at approx 14.30hrs stating will be delivering item in an hours time. Dashed home as wasnt expecting delivery and low and behold .... da'dahh.....IT ARRIVED!! (Bravo to Marco, please promote him to head customer services). Assembled bed no missing parts and looks pretty cool.
Stuart you can don't need to investigate where my missing delivery is but if you have any clout in the company, overhaul your whole customer service dept (except Marco of course), it is a shamble.
Seriously though:
Its a shame as a previous order to this one, i received promptly and completely hence why i chose to order via Worldstores again. This experience has left a bitter taste and will not go back. When it goes well it goes well but when it doesnt the system completely and utterly breaks down.

Good product and service
We bought a slimline wardrobe for my daughter's bedroom. There weren't many around in the dimensions we wanted and at a reasonable price. This product won on both points. Though the next day delivery advertised wasn't available to us, it arrived when predicted with two excellent (friendly, professional and helpful) delivery men. Very good experience. Husband was also quite impressed with the sturdiness of the product.

Bought wardrobe. Everything is fine except costumer service , missing assembly instruction in the pack, contact them for few days, but unfortunately I can’t reach anyone not by phone, not by online form. So not very happy about this purchase.

Do not order from this store, very poor service, they have still not delivered our sofa but have taken our money, we have tried to call every day 5 days in a row and we were put on hold for 20-30 minutes every time and never got through, we've emailed - no reply, we left a message through their website - no reply. Still no sofa delivery and yet they have taken our money. I'm not usually one to complain but this is very poor customer service.
