Very informative and motivating.
The course offered a lot of information and pointed out things I may not have otherwise considered when writing my first children's book. I think the course improved my writing and saved me a lot of failed attempts at submitting my story/stories. I wish it had contained details on the Canadian publication process as much as it did the British specifics, but can fully appreciate that this is not a Canadian course and I am capable of researching the Canadian equivalent now that I know what I am looking for.
Interesting content, good graphics, an easy way to learn
Having just retired and missing the stimulation of a busy professional career I decided to give this course a go. I have often wanted to try writing stories for children , especially as I have a lively imagination and four young grandchildren who love bedtime stories. This course gave me the insight and the theory to make writing a children's story a very possible reality. I would recommend it to anyone. However, I did think some of the test questions were rather ambiguous and from the information given in the course I felt more than one answer could have been correct.
I would recommend this company to anyone
The course is visually pleasing, informative and enjoyable. I always looked forward to starting the next module.
The main change I would suggest is to make the test questions less ambiguous; there are some that feel like 'trick' questions which is not productive in this learning situation. Also, I would not advertise other writng courses during the actual course as it felt as if making money out of me was more important than making me a writer!
Overall, 'WriteStoryBooksForChildren' has been hugely encouraging and worth the cost in both time and money.

well, i passed
I'm glad I did this. I learned a lot. My one complaint is that there are many of the test questions that are unclear or just not covered in the Modules, so I feel like my score was pretty unfair.
An invaluable insight into every step for writing for children, from developing your idea to marketing your book. This course was fantastic!
This course gave me both the inspiration and the motivation to start writing. An experience I will never forget!
Fantastic insight into the world of writing.
This course was better than expected. It was captivating enough to hold my attention and intriguing enough for me to complete the course. This course is packed with useful information. I would definitely recommend this course to others.
Ready to Write!
This course gives you a comprehensive look at writing for children. I knew some of the information, relearned some information that I'd forgotten, and learned completely new information. This information was presented in an easy to understand format with questions after each module. This kept me engaged throughout.
The individual modules were too long for one sitting.
I didn't appreciate being advertised to during this learning process.
Really simple, easy to follow, informal conversational style learning! Love the layout, pictures, really useful info!
I found this course really easy to use, simple and clear. I liked the fun layouts using lots of variety so the course never felt monotonous. Really great information, I learnt so much, I feel like this course covered everything!
I really enjoyed doing this course and couldn't wait to log back on and get on to the next section.
This course, although online, felt really friendly and generous, I never felt alone and I progressed easily and swiftly!
I'm so pleased I found this course, would do it again and recommend to others who have an interest in writing :)
Excellent delivery! Course filled with relevant information, realistic expectations & encouragement.
I've always had a secret desire to write but never got further than starting a diary in January with all other good intentions. I have two daughters, 3 & 4 who were constantly asking me to tell them stories of when they were babies & toddlers, I found myself running out of 'true' stories so started making up my own. I began telling them tales involving the family and our dog going on magical adventures. My earlier passion for writing came flooding back so I started writing them down and loved it. I saw this course on Groupon for a very reasonable price, so here I am, passed & enthused!
Time and money well spent
Great course with in depth material and insightful tips. I was pleasantly surprised at the detail the course went into and definitely felt I got my money's worth. I also appreciate the life time access to the course, so I can go back and reference material. My only complaint is some of the animations in the modules seemed a bit hokey, and I would've liked a more hands-on approach to the testing that included actual writing. Overall, wonderful course though!
Very good!
Didn't take long to complete at all and very interesting information!
Lots of sensible practical stuff
Really enjoyed this course. It's full of sensible, simple advice on the practicalities of planning, writing, and on getting work published. The modules are straight-forward, well-presented, and as long as you take plenty of notes, the tests are not difficult - although they are obviously designed to - well, test!
As the course suggests, writing is 99% perspiration, 1% inspiration, so be prepared for a no-nonsense approach. As a Groupon deal I thought it represents remarkable value for money (£14!)
Now I'm looking forward to putting my learning into practice. Thank you, Team, for an enjoyable experience.
Write Story Books for Children course is better than many conferences.
I learned a lot and gained a better understanding of many things I already knew. I thought the course seemed dated in places regarding books and typing instead of internet. Errors in the last few modules were distracting.
An enjoyable, challenging course full of useful tips and information about writing in general and writing for children specifically.
The course consists of 14 well paced and informative modules which you can complete in your own time. Once you have registered, you can dip in and out of the course whenever you like. Each module has an associated test which you can retake if you fail, but cannot resit once you have passed. The modules cover a wide range of topics from initial planning, research and outline through character development, pace and plotting to writing for different ages groups and tips about how to approach publishers. I got this from Groupon for £20.00, and having completed (and passed) the course I would say it is well worth the full price.
A writing course that does not require you to write?
The course did have some very useful information and was fairly well written but had one or two errors in my opinion that simply let the whole thing down.
A course on writing that did nothing to encourage the student to actually write and share what they had written for evaluation seems somewhat contradictory.
The course was about writing storybooks - so why was it filled with bits about radio plays, tv drama and stage production - these should have been omitted.
The course mentions reviewing your work and ensuring that it is in the correct order and continuity works and yet the last chapter has information about self publishing that obviously belongs at the end of the chapter, stuck into the middle where it doesn't make any sense

I love this course!!!
I just completed the write story books for children. It was incredible. I have taken other courses and they are usually just the meat and potatoes of writing. Here you give the most accurate and detailed layout that any one can follow . You just need an idea, and this course, and PRESTO you are a world renowned best selling children's book author! I have so much faith in this course I am fully prepared for the riches your course will bring. Thank you again! P. S. It is harder than you think to pass these courses. Take notes and really pay attention!
good bargain for a $19 groupon
I am surprised by the new things I have learnt through this course. Being a grammar nazi, however I can't help but notice on several occasions, the sentence ended with two periods, like this.. it's either one or three, but two makes me feel unsettling. Anyway, this is small in comparison to the benefits I have reaped from this course. Thank you Groupon for making this available at a low cost to a housewife (with no pet or child duties) finding things to make good use of her time.
future writer
This course was very helpful the only thing thing that I would change is possibly another Module of how to find true publishers.
Fantastic experience
Really enjoyed completing the whole course. I have managed to do that in 3 months while still working full time, and looking after my 7 year old son, husband, 3 cats and a new house. The course is simple and straight forward to follow, and can be fitted around your normal day to day routine. I took advantage of the voucher available on Groupon for the course and paid £14. In my opinion it is worth paying the full fee for the course as it is very comprehensive giving you a warts and all view of what you need to do to be a successful writer, it doesn't stop when the book is written!
Well Thought Out.
I felt this course, was easy to follow. Gave a lot of information and kept you interested in what was coming next.
