Subscription service unethically Tricky

Product is ok but subscription service is unethically tricky. They don't give you any warning before renewal, whatsoever. Furthermore, you can check and there is no active subscription 1 place, but then later find out that you have an active subscription another place! There are 3 seperate places they do subscriptions!

Horrible Product, Horrible support

7 bulbs all lost connectivity at the same time and customer support just kept telling me to perform the same troubleshooting that was in their faq, which I did many times. Over a week later, they said the bulbs would have to be replaced, but couldn't since they were out of warranty. 7 bulbs all stop working at the same time and wyze won't replace them. Its not normal degredation over time when 7 bulbs stop working on the same day.

When the NY Times and CNN find the…

When the NY Times and CNN find the product so bad that they openly state they won't waste space even writing about this company you know you should be looking elsewhere!

First off wyze has made sure that their customer service people don't really understand English and they WILL NOT transfer you to someone who does. Instead they will make up answers. If you go to their website you will find yourself in Al hell and if you wait for a live agent your wait time can exceed an hour and your rep will disconnect you if you question the very often stupidity of their a
answer. I was told of a delivery to my front porch and got a view of someone's, but not mine because I don't have one. I live on the 4th floor of a condo. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Ghost Company

This company has no way to contact them, you are on your own. Also, my alarm went off and even though my address is listed on my account, I was called by the dispatcher because they didn't know my address. What happened to this company?

I purchased 2 wyze cpan 3 cameras

I purchased 2 wyze cpan 3 cameras, and they do not stay connected at all. it lasts less than 30 minutes connected, then it says connection failed to trouble shoot.
I followed all directions, then it worked for less than 30 minutes to have to do over and over.
Waste of time and a total waste of money, compared to other cameras. Cheap is the key word for these, because they were cheap to buy and i understand why now. JUNK. You can't get any tech support on the phone. I called and waited for exactly 1 hour on hold for a customer service advisor, and then it told me to call back another time. Do not take risks buying this product.

Customer service is nonexistent

Customer service is nonexistent. You as a customer do not matter to this company so I wouldn't trust that your home or security matters either. I tried to place a large order. It got canceled automatically due to some fraud system they have in place. I reached out to customer service, they assured me all I have to do is place another order and it will go thru. So I did. It was canceled and flagged again. I was then told to split the order up to multiple orders. But I was paying to have the shipping expedited so it would mean an extra $20+ per shipment. There was no attempt by customer service to help in this matter. So I chose to spend my $600 with ring where I got free 3 day shipping and customer service that actually cares for their customer. Are ring cameras more expensive than wyze? Yes. But its well worth it. Money well spent.

Don't use subscription! It's a trap!

Bought wyze sprinkler 2 years ago. It stopped working this Spring and their support is awful so I junked it. I forgot about the subscription. Got charged today and went in to cancel for a refund. They won't refund. I cancelled same day as renewal and no refund. Absolute joke of a company. Their decision to keep my 10.00 cost them me replacing the sprinkler at 59.00. cutting your nose off to spite your face. Real smart wyze.

Very poor customer service

Wow. Absolutely uncaring customer service. I purchased a device (thermostat) that just fell out of the warranty period, and despite being a good customer with multiple devices and subscriptions, I got the "so sad, too bad, you're out of warranty, so we won't do anything for you" speech. The thermostat recently started to fall off the network for no reason—apparently, this is a widespread issue, and there is no (known) fix (that I can find). I spent $80 for a thermostat for a year. At most, they would offer me a $10 gift card for my trouble. Insane. For a local company, they don't really seem to care about their customers. Now to find a replacement -- hopefully a much better brand. There was a time I would have recommended WYZE, but I cannot do that anymore. My advice: spend a little more and get a better product.

Take the money and forget you.

Sent me the wrong power plugs.
Worse - I am in the country they sent them from.
9 emails Global Wyze says 'we are too busy'
Wyze America says sorry we can't help.
Terrible support for a simple fix on 2 cameras that I paid a premium for buying them from 'Global Wyze'.
Is it that hard to do the right thing?

From fan to highly disappointed

When Wyze first started making cameras, I was an early adopter. Their v1 camera was pretty darned good, and at a price point that was (and still somewhat is) amazing.

As time went on, Wyze released additional smarthome products and I went all in. Multiple cameras, robot vacuum, floodlight, floor lamps, scale, thermostats, headphones ... I owned a lot of their products and would excitedly wait to see what they were putting out next. I even signed up for a monthly WyzeCam Plus subscription.

Then I started noticing the problems.

Cameras that would disconnect from the network on a regular basis, the couple times I suddenly saw feeds or screenshots from cameras that weren't mine, the "deprecation" of the v1 camera that turned out to be because of an unfixable security issue, the time somebody broke into a car in my driveway and for some reason the camera hadn't uploaded the event to the cloud like it was supposed to.

The robot vacuum that needed to be "fixed" repeatedly. That kept losing the floorplan so I'd have to rescan my house and re set up schedules. After having had the vacuum replaced 2-3 times, the latest version just plain died a little over 2 years after I got it and sorry ... out of luck, it can't be repaired, and it's past warrantee so we won't replace it yet again.

The thermostats that ALSO kept losing their network connection (one of which was literally less than 10 feet from an access point in the same room). That lost their schedule a couple times, without notifying me. That, in early spring, started repeatedly alerting me that they were too hot and were activating cooling ... when they were off, and only ran the heating system.

I've gone from a big fan to swearing never to buy another Wyze product in my life, and am actively working to replace all of the ones I have, even when the replacement devices I'm getting are sometimes as much as 4x the cost. At least I know they'll work.

Do Not Waste Your Money

Do Not Waste Your Money! the worst customer service i have experienced! this year there was some kind of update from them that basically no longer allowed me to view my cameras if my phone is not connected to the same wifi the cams are connected to. I searched the internet for solutions, followed them, nothing. I tried to connect with them (no number to call, you can only chat) no solutions/no help/no response. I figured if i did the annual plan for cloud $100 a year only, no big deal that it would solve my issue. did not, I cancelled the next day, and guess what, I wont get refunded for having the service less than 24 hours. regardless they has some BS policy that you cant even view when purchasing the plan. etc etc etc. I am emailing back and forth with them and the customer service rep is like a robot, not listening to anything at all. I told him he is not real and he is a robot. anyway, dont use them. Ring rocks, i moved to ring and worth every penny!!!!

Don’t wast your money

I was given two outdoor Wyze cameras as a gift to replace two Nest cameras that could no longer be supported. I only hooked up one camera to try it out. There were several things that were not working. Called customer support twice. Neither time could they fix the problem. The cameras are pretty useless. I’m going to toss them and go back to nest or simply safe.
The price of Wyze reflects the quality. Cheap.

They sell defective products knowingly

I just bought 2 new cameras, neither of them have worked properly since I bought them (connectivity issues). I've tried everything with their support team, who pretty much can only copy and paste pre-written messages. They are like bad AI.
Anyway, after a month of back and forth on chats and email they finally admit there is a problem with all of these cameras, not just mine.
Now, not only are they actively selling products they know are defective, but since it took more than 30 days to get that response from them, now I can't return them for a refund. So now I am stuck with two cameras that were sold to me knowing they had defects with them and I can't even return them.
They are a borderline scam company

Bogus charges over $150, no refund or credit. Crooks

I was signed up and charged for a Cam Unlimited subscription by Wyze without my knowledge for over a year before I caught it (my bad). They had my payment information for a Cam Plus Lite subscription for ONE functional camera that I did sign up for earlier (but the service never worked). I was charged for both subscriptions for ONE camera. Why would I do that? I was out over $150 additional for services I never asked for. When I contacted customer service they were simply uncaring and unresponsive. Absolutely NO refund so I asked for a credit towards any subscription........NOT.
These folks are a bunch of crooked clowns, and their software is really poor. I have an Arlo system with four cameras that has pretty much functioned flawlessly for several years with NO costs. WYZE is an awful company. Don't give them the time of day.
