I did buy 2 refurbished kick scooters which had failures after 3 & 9 months. The company was very responsive and accepted to repair them for free (free shipping). Very pleased with this experience (except for the failures) ;-).

I am a 61 year old male and bought my Xootr in early summer 2018 so that I could more easily move around the many summer outdoor festivals that I produce. It performed perfectly! However, an issue developed with a connective part during my final festival of the season, but I was able to "jury rig" it and got through. Following the event, I reached out to Xootr who insisted that I return it to them (free shipping!) so that they could either repair or replace it. In less than 2 weeks, my original Xootr was returned, fixed and as good as new! Couldn't be happier with the item and with the treatment I received from customer service!

The shipping went as expected, and the price was great for an amazing scooter. Their prices and the prices for add-ons are super clear. It's great that they don't force you to buy things like the hand brakes, fender, etc. and instead choose what you'll use. Saves me a bunch of money! I use the scooter daily for my commute in combination with the bus. It's the perfect size to tuck under a row of bus seats, and it's super easy to fold and unfold. Once you get the hang of it, you can do it while you walk and just hop on. I get compliments on the scooter frequently. Light, high quality, and has stood up to my clumsiness. Highly recommended this company!

Very good scooter I would recommend it to anybody

I have been riding most places on my Xootr for 8 months now, and it is a great help. Better than a bicycle because I don't have to lock it up, and can take it in with me to shops. It has a learning curve of how to gauge its sensitivity to sidewalk bumps and potholes, but only fell off once. Highly recommend it.

I love my Xootr. Got my first one in 2002 and have been riding ever since. I don't have a car and this is my main mode of transport, including the occasional 95lb load of groceries. I've tried other scooters and been disappointed. I just got a new Xootr because after close to a decade of nearly daily use on all kinds of urban surfaces my old one needs enough repairs to be honorably retired. The new model is even nicer now that there is no ergo pin to lose. Besides it being a fine piece of equipment, customer service is awesome.

Purchased a couple of used scooters that needed some parts. I searched the internet for places where I could purchase the parts I needed. I researched several and decided on Xootr. I was not disappointed. Their service was great ! They answered all my questions and gave suggestions.
I was very please with my purchase.

Awesome scooter and great customer service. Questionable quality control. Unfortunately, my scooter shipped with screws holding the collar and the handle bars to the frame that were too small causing them to strip after 3 months of very light use (failing on the second day of a two week vacation with my 10 year old daughter).
Could have been serious if they failed at speed. Luckily customer service was quick to acknowledge the error and approve the repair (nothing could be done for my vacation, though).

It came back repaired in short order.

Customer service follow up has also been incredibly impressive.

Good service. I had to replace brakes and parts came quickly. Not overly expensive.
However, scooters have a flaw that is really irritating. The handlebars are constantly loose and have too much play. You have to take the wheel off to tighten the nuts. Big pain. This is a constant with both Xootrs I own.

A solid scooter with superb durability. Its lightweight and foldability are unmatched.

This is very a very sturdy kick scooter and I’m really enjoying it. I’m 64 and am actually using it for mobility issues cuz I can stand but not walk. It’s lightweight, folds easily and easy to transport.
