I'm sad to see these one star reviews from people (person) who have/has only left one or two reviews ever. I guess if you have a grudge?
I have sourced 99% of my tech from XS Items over the last 10 years. Cameras, lenses, Apple kit and more. I have always found the company to be 100% exemplary to deal with. Only once did I get something below expectations and the response was overwhelming is its customer service excellence. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Hi I have recently purchased a product from your company and unfortunately the product is unfit for purpose. I have rang you and sent 7 emails to your current email address and still no response.
I have never bought anything from eBay and will not purchase again because no satisfactory customer service.
I have purchased lots of items from Amazon and Groupon and the service and customer loyalty is extremely high.
I am very disappointed and waiting for response and support.
Kind regards

Excellent company - accurate descriptions and fast delivery
I’ve bought quite a few items from this company from a refurbished mobile phone to a white company bed. Everything is always as described, the customer service is second to none and the shipping has pretty much been next day or within a couple of days. Can’t grumble at all. A very honest and open eBay seller.

I purchased an iPhone XR for my daughter
6-7 weeks after purchase I had to take it to Apple for a check and then a repair
I was astounded to find it was fitted with a non-genuine battery and non-genuine screen and a further part holding the battery was missing
Apple invalidated the device - meaning they will never repair it
XS have refunded me but kept 15% "because eBay says they can" for usage/wear and tear
Quite ironic given the phone failed whilst in use because of their non genuine parts usage!
They don't tell you that in their glossy eBay ad's!
Just another company with bold promises on their website of "honesty, integrity and fairness", none of which have applied to me
You just made a little girl's Xmas 2020 miserable when all you had to do was fully refund me and do the right thing
Why so hard?
Why not state in your adverts that you use non-genuine parts on Apple products?
Why? its all about the money!
An embarrassing way to trade and I feel so sorry for all the people that will be duped

XS ITEMS - IS IT A SCAM? I WON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM.
So......
The rant below did bring a response very quickly. XS say the item was 'used' and therefore simply sold as they received it, even if not working. I don't think that was clear and that XS could and should make it clearer.
However, they did ring up and arranged to take the machine back free of charge. They have arranged a full refund which I am waiting to see credited to my wife's account. Assuming the money arrives I revise my opinion as they took the trouble to get in touch and very quickly. What I do say is that you obviously need to be very careful that what you buy is what you were expecting. CHECK that if it is 'used' it is in working order and has all the bits you need. Or be prepared to do your own rectification - in which case you may have bought a bargain.

I bought a Sage the Barista Touch Coffee Espresso maker BES880 at £529.99 (refurbished, I believe) although that was not made clear when buying, nor on the invoice.
The machine arrived within 2 days, but without instructions, water tester, ground coffee filter inserts, but most important with no insertable FILTER. The machine appears to need this to operate.
Contact XS Items. Ha bloody Ha! After getting engaged tone first 6 attempts I got a recorded message to say they had sent all their staff home and couldn't take messages. I emailed them as they suggest. No response. What are all those house-bound staff doing? Not responding to emails, for sure.
XS Items get a lot of stick on Trust Pilot and unfortunately my wife ordered the machine before I could check up on the supplier.
So first off: DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.
Second: I'M GOING TO TAKE A SMALL CLAIMS COURT CASE AGAINST THEM.
Third: COMPLAIN TO E-BAY.
I'd like to think they will respond but I'm not holding my breath.

Get ready to be scammed
I wish I could give them 0 star but there is no option for that. I bought an Iphone6 that stopped working within 4 months. It had 12 months warranty, so I contacted them. First of all they were making excuses saying that I needed to remove the phone from iCloud otherwise they won accept the return, which I did. Then they emailed me saying that if it is the battery it won't be covered, so thought I will check it before sending it back, anyway it turned out it was not the battery issue. So, I sent the phone back, initially, they said the screen has been lifted which it was never I told them that was not the case, I told them that I did put a battery to check whether it was the battery before sending it back but then installed the original battery back. The story changed from lifting of the screen to battery. I was truthful but it seems they were never interested in fixing the phone. I gave up and lost money that should have not been if I had bought it locally. My advise to the rest of people is, please don't buy from these guys they are scamming people and their after sale service is a joke. We may hear from these guys giving some sort of justification but they are really bad unfortunately.

Selling dodgy phones
I brought a phone that was dodgy, suspect criminal activity was used with this phone that the company agreed to sell for greedy profits
Blacklisted phone
I bought a google pixel 2 and it wouldn’t connect to the mobile network so I got it checked out and it’s blacklisted
Avoid
I bought a phone and it was broken. The phone was ok just for a day. Suddenly the screen was flickering and freezing up. I couldn't use my phone. I contacted this company that they sold me a faulty phone. I asked them for refund. They said that they can check out my phone. I sent for analysis. Then they sent me back the same faulty phone. I never use it as it was broken.I had to buy a new phone from different company. What a waste of time and money '' £150''. Utterly bad service.

new open box lg G7 mobile…sold a sample model
Bought a new open box lg G7 mobile phone via E Bay.when it wouldn't update I contacted LG and received the following :
Thank you for providing your IMEI number. I have run it through our system and found that you have been sold a sample model. Sample models are manufactured to be sold to retailers, not to customers. They are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and receive very few, if any, software updates, precisely because they are only intended to be used by retailers for short periods.
I did get quick customer support and a quick full refund .

eBay - XS Items
Lenovo H30-50 Desktop PC 1TB HDD 4GB RAM Windows 8.1 Intel i3-4160 Computer
Obviously, the first thing you do when receiving a newly bought computer is to open it up, turn it on and set it up to your own liking. This should not have been a problem, I've done this many times before.
Furthermore you had, as the seller, " refurbished" the item in addition to Testing that guarantees full working order. So no worries there then!
How wrong can you be?
The first that showed itself was the desktop clock (bottom right-hand corner) was about 12 hours out of sync with GMT and was working on a place/time of somewhere in the middle of the United States of America! This was confirmed latterly when needing to adjust the alphabet to write emails! Having loaded an ISP I duly start to receive advertisements for all things 'Lenova American' and beguiling of all, Lenova Notebooks!! I was also forced to change the DVD Area Code. I took all this as proof that I have been sold an American laptop version of Windows 8.1 installed in a desktop computer case (maybe why the CD/DVD player was non-existent and doesn't work even after installation of a replacement Lenovo CD/DVD unit?) I'm now using an external CD/DVD device when needed. A test on the Hard Disk reported two sectors are likely to fail soon meaning the whole thing needs replacement.
Would you still say this item has been fully tested and in good working order?
The Bluetooth only works when it feels like it. The card reader doesn't work. The Copy, Paste and Cut feature didn't work. (I've fixed File Explorer to repair this undiscovered fault.)
The updater part of Windows consistently refused to update but I managed to install a new version of Windows 10 Home edition, version 1909, OS Build 18363.657 from Windows Update. It's about four versions better than it was but I suspect the HDD will give out in the near future. It is still too mixed up to operate as a "full working order condition" computer which it never was!!
There's more to come but not on here says eBay. Maximum 2000 Characters.
--------------------------------------------------------
In answer to this email came the following..............
Hi Dennis,
I am sorry to hear of your issues with the computer. How would you like us to turn your negative in to a positive experience? I can obviously set up a return for you.
I've no doubt they can set up a return for me, they have already issued an order to pick it up from my house next Tuesday, 10th. Mar. completely unknown to me!!
The Feedback I left including the above epistle is nowhere to be seen, how does a seller get rid of your Feedback??
That's not all but it's enough to demonstrate how this company deals with such 'issues'. Treat customers with with utter contempt and of no consequence and perhaps they'll go away.
I'm going to write to eBay and ask them how such an item can be sold on their platform in such a fraudulent sale before reporting it to the police. I will also be writing to Levono and Hewlett Packard in a private capacity bemoaning the fact that they have a connection to this most disreputable of companies.

Ordered iPhone 7 from eBay
Ordered iPhone 7 from eBay, condition: Good. Arrived quickly and there were no external signs of wear and tear. However, the battery ran out quickly and went down 25% in 1.5 hours where I wasn't looking at the phone but was just listening to music. Another time it went from 67% to 10% in one minute. I could not make calls on it at all as I couldn't hear anything when I tried to ring people. I sent the item back, the customer service team were fairly quick at responding but upon its return they said there was nothing wrong with the phone and they could send me it back if I wanted. Obviously I didn't want it back so I asked for a refund which they did straight away.

Avoid - they are hassle and are of questionable honesty.
In 2020 I ordered a manufacturer refurbished sage barista express coffee machine for £349 via their eBay storefront. What was delivered was a dirty, well used machine with parts missing. The machine came in an over large cardboard box, badly packed with a little bubble around some pieces. Avoid this seller, they sent me old repaired goods rather than an lightly used “manufacturer refurbished items”. They appear to accept returns but you will have hassle and be out of pocket for several weeks before you get a refund. Interestingly the invoice they provided states a used machine and is silent on the 12 months warranty they advertise as provided for the higher priced refurbished machines, so presumably if you are luckier than me to get a complete machine and it then breaks after 30 days they could claim it was one of their cheaper used offerings with only 30 days protection and try to avoid the 12 month warranty. It looks like this seller lists similar (same?) items with 3 different descriptions , I.e. auction. - used with parts missing, BIN - used with parts missing or BIN - manufacturer refurbished with majority of parts present. What I got Was a dirty, well used machines with parts missing and badly packed. Avoid, avoid avoid - In my opinion, they are of questionable honesty and not a reliable seller for expensive items. If you do buy, make sure the invoice provided matches the description of the item you bought (especially warranty) as this appears to be part of their modus operandi.

Warranty
Be very, very careful. Tried to claim on a warranty for a coffee machine which I am reasonably sure was advertised as refurbished. If it is refurbished the item should have come with a 12 month warranty. They now claim that the warranty is for 30 days because it is "used". They have cleverly not made it clear on the invoice whether the item is used or refurbished. I would not buy from them ever again.

I just sent back my Google XL Pixel 2
I just sent back my Google XL Pixel 2. I have kept this phone immaculate in a case and screen protector since I bought it from this company. As the phone has been repeatedly crashing I sent it back for repair. Now to my amazment this is the message I just received from this company. "Hello
Just to let you know that we have received your item and our engineers have informed us that the screen is cracked.
Accidental damage is not covered under our warranty.
In this case the phone needs to be returned to you.
Please confirm the address the phone is to be sent.
Kind regards,
Sharon"
As my phone was perfectly kept and also packaged for the warranty claim I am going into a dispute with this company. Okay it could be Royal Mail but I doubt it. If necessary I shall be claiming from Royal Mail however I am very dubious and extremelly dissapointed with XLItems response.

Avoid at all costs
Purchased an I phone which stopped working after about 3 weeks. Returned it and the service for the return was efficient. However I then received an email saying the phone was water damaged and they would not honour the guarantee. This was a reconditioned phone and as it has not been in any water since I have purchased it I can only assume it was damaged prior to my purchase. I telephoned to try to resolve the situation. The attitude of the staff was uncaring and dismissive and the they admitted that the guarantee is worthless. I am appalled they have taken 375 for a faulty phone and will not honour the guarantee and basically imply that I am lying about the damage.
