Absolutely filthy

Absolutely filthy! Bought a coffee machine from these guys and it so disgustingly dirty! There was mouldy coffee grounds all over it, covered in cooking grease all over the outside, stagnant water and mould inside the water tank. And the box was covered in coffee grounds also. They say "small residue" but it was absolutely covered and filthy!

Do not buy from these guys. They have incredibly low standards and disgusting respect. The communication is all robotic and useless.

Misleading warranty and advertising

Very poor customer service. I bought a coffee machine from them for nearly £900 which was refurbished and advertised as excellent cosmetic condition and had been fully serviced and came with a 12 month warranty. After 4 months it broke down and they replaced the machine without being able to identify what went wrong with the original machine. I asked for a new 12 month warranty as this was a different machine or a refund and I would buy a new one as I have no way of knowing if this will last beyond the 8 months remaining. They refused despite it being my legal right so they will have a legal case to answer if it goes wrong again.
Do not try and save a few quid as their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Save your money and buy a new item

If you need a like new phone, don't look further

Dear XS Items,

I am writing to express my thanks and gratitude for your second to none services. The phone (S. Galaxy S5) I received really is in mint condition, feels brand new. This is the third phone I bought from you and you again have exceeded my expectations.

A week earlier, from a DIFFERENT seller, I bought a 'sealed' (I was not 100% sure about its authenticity when I got it) S. Galaxy S4 and it had various problems of not charging and starting up on its own when the battery was inserted. Fortunately I was able to return that.

My decision to specifically buy from you after that incident was the best decision I could have made. Thanks again.

XS items - polite and helpful staff

purchased a Humax PVR via XS items on Ebay. The box developed a fault 5 months later. Received a full refund. Staff were polite and helped to resolve the issue very quickly.

Excellent customer service!

I had bought a Samsung phone from E bay them which had 12 months warranty. After a couple of months of usage it broke down.I contacted them and they promptly arranged a return and refunded my money as it was faulty.Quick and easy to deal with.Will be shopping with them in the future.

Think twice before buying an iPhone …

Think twice before buying an iPhone here.
Bought an iPhone including their warranty but had to returned it a couple of times for repair with an intermittent fault. The last time they said it was just out of warranty but when I complained advising it had just been returned to me after they repaired it under warranty they said they would refund me the purchase price. I was therefore surprised when they then contacted me to say they were returning it to me as they could see no fault.No doubt the intermittent fault will reoccur soon so I'll raise a chargeback claim via my bank/credit card company.

In July I won a double four poster bed …

In July I won a double four poster bed from the white company exdisplay, in the description it was a complete bed. Was collection only. I drove a 100 miles there to collect the so called bed of my dreams trusting that they had it all ready for me. I collected what I thought was all the parts after not been given instruction manual which I found online after. I paid left only to find they sold me half a bed. Communication with the company, was terrible waiting days for answer. I finally had one main person called Kieron that was dealing with me now he stated that i should wait a few weeks for other shipments to come in and he hoped the parts would be in there. They had me wait til October to decided the parts hadn't come up and that I could now be refunded what I paid and the petrol money I paid the offered 20pound. They also said they would keep an eye out for the parts and have them or the same bed come in they would sort it out that it was delivered I would not have to make the journey as he realised was so far. Seemed like they was genuinely sorry for mistake right! Wrong. It's now nov24 2017 and I few weeks ago scrolling there site what do u know I come across the bed brand new right. Oh I thought let me call Kieron. Could not get threw for about 4/5 days then he calls me back we have ur bed parts he proclaimed! O wonderful I was going to mention the new bed you have put up on your site. Will arrange delivery and get back to you. Then comes an email we are sorry the parts are to big we cannot deliver the company we use don't deliver these but items! Hold on a minute. The have washing machines sofas all sorts on there site 49.99 delivery. And they cannot deliver ok . I'm boo boo the fool now. Ok I will collect I respond just wanting what I should have received in July. Another 200 mile journey. O I forgot they said coz I was was refunded I had to pay for they parts they was giving me. Hmmmmmmm none of this was mentioned in beginning or in first arrangement. But anyway ok knocked off 20 pound for petrol which might I add didn't cover the journey. But anyway rented a van to collect this time to save my car the miles. Get there given these parts and drive home . To only find the parts they have given me are from the bigger version to my bed I was given in the first place. Now is it just me or are these people crazy. Unprofessional and completely dense?? I emailed I receive an email from Kieron back he measured the parts himself how is this possible ? So I call him frustrated now... you sold me double first time round I said. Is it not on the sale inventory?? He said it says a king size on our end. So I state in coresponding I emailed in regards and spoke to you about a double bed that's what I actually won. He said he could not see this. I said this unacceptable if you actually listened when I contacted you I contacted in regards to the bed listed on your site now. You choose to come me about you found my parts you made me drive 200 miles for the wrong parts again. And you got a bed sitting there could have gave me. This isn't on. And I paid also. I then asked to speak to someone above him. He said would call me back in 5-10 mins I asked if the person above him could call me coz this had peed me off. The the person that calls me back is some Ian Mont manager of MD he states. Seemed cool first few mins. They starts ranting all I'm giving u is a refund. No bed no proper resolution I heard you was abusive flips the whole thing around on me. I'm like abusive because I stated I'm peed off. The man hanged up me said he would not be dealing with me anymore they actually hanged up on me bearing in mind I was not rude to this man at all. He really had not common decency at all. They are a disrespectful company on whole. I have never been so disturbed by there behaviour for a listed complete bed might I add. And the fact the refunded me months later does not compensate for the day it took out my life the 400 miles the rental I paid for the sheer disrespect. The company I will be seeking further compensation that's ridiculous. I mean at the very least I should have a bed. What the hell?? Please anyone reading don't buy anything from these people they if nothing a fraud. And they think taking people's money and listing none existent items is acceptable in this day and age. STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!! Shoddy back street company. And after reading there answer nothing I stated was untrue. I never swore at them I stated was pee’d off after the incompetence of these people. If that’s a crime maybe your forgetting the reason I’m writing the review in the first place so people don’t waste there time with a company that sells mix and match half of pieces items and puts up as a complete item which is false advertising!
