Yahoo's new 2026 Unauthentic commentary "system"
Well we all knew it was coming; the robotic censorship of Yahoo's commentary system, in relation to news. It is a gentler, much less effective and disingenuous, if not a nonpulsed, robotic system. It removes the REALITY of what people are thinking and saying, even though it isn't always what Yahoo would like (-which is what the censors were for but then again; little kids without life experience & maturity doing so) It was REAL; it was AUTHENTIC. Now we have a false system of mere "feel good" commentary without strength and conviction. How sad that they have succumbed in cowardice to the reality of our lives; the good with the bad - they just can't handle it. I even received a new email just today, 3/23/26, telling me they removed my commentary response though it was simple truth. The upshot? They will lose business with their unrealistic 'touchy-feel-good' nonsense, totally AI generated goofiness and now be known for their disingenuous topic reply column akin to good 'ol Mister Rogers "feel good at all cost" without real world, adult if not clear thought, solid messages.
1 star
1 star. Hijacked my Google, forced Yahoo down my throat. Totally unacceptable.
Dont even bother wasting your time with…
Dont even bother wasting your time with this trash service.
They waste hours of your life just to tell you the verification was not successful.
Yahoo tried to force me to use what's…
Yahoo tried to force me to use what's app by pretending they couldn't send a text message. I'll see what my state's attorney general thinks about that.
Yahoo miles off
Yahoo search consistently brings up businesses 50+miles from the zip/city I entered. Today, it's first result was a therapist 449 miles away! Ridiculous waste of time.
My email account stopped letting me log…
My email account stopped letting me log in. Tried to recover things via the "do you know you can use the internet" (read, we don't want to pay anyone to fix your problem). It seemed to work, but when I tried got the same error messages about being unable to log in. Went through the phone support. Their initial response was you need to wait 24 hours and then call us back so we can see what is happening when you try to log in. Did that and it was "oh, we need to verify who you are. The verification of taking my picture and a valid state ID picture failed(?) even though the app they had me use said it was successful. Got hung up on. Tried calling back. Nope, we can't verify you are you good-bye. Really odd that my email I've had with Yahoo since the late 90's is still accessible but the one through my internet service provider (Cox) isn't and is not linked to my Yahoo account like it was when Cox first transitioned email to Yahoo/AO(hel)l.

I changed my default search engine back to Google. These scammers find a way to change it back to their shitty engine every couple of days.

Yahoo Mail is Getting Worse, definitely not better!
I have been a Yahoo Mail user for over 30 years. My Yahoo email address is essentially my personal brand at this point. It is the address that everyone in my personal and professional life has used to reach me for decades. Changing it would be extremely disruptive, which is the only reason I haven’t left Yahoo already.
Recently Yahoo rolled out updates to both the desktop and mobile apps, claiming they were making the service more “user-friendly.” Unfortunately, the opposite is true.
The new interface is less intuitive, less functional, and clearly designed without thinking about how real people actually manage email.
The most frustrating change is the removal of a very useful feature in the mobile app. Previously, when you long-pressed an email, you could choose to view all messages from that sender and then quickly move them to a folder, archive them, or manage them in bulk. This was incredibly efficient for organizing an inbox.
Now that feature is gone.
Instead, the only options are to delete the one email or delete them all from that sender. Or select one by one manually and move to folder. That’s absurd! Many emails are not spam or trash — they simply belong in folders for later reading. Yahoo has essentially removed a practical inbox management tool and replaced it with a blunt delete button.
When I contacted Yahoo support (after trying for about an hour), the representative confirmed that the feature was indeed removed. The suggested workaround was to copy and paste the sender’s email address into search and manually process messages.
That is not an improvement. That is a step backward.
Calling this an “update” is misleading. It feels more like regression disguised as progress.
I genuinely don’t understand how decisions like this are made. Features that helped users manage their inbox efficiently have simply disappeared, replaced by a clunkier and more time-consuming process.
After more than three decades as a loyal user, I am seriously considering closing my Yahoo account. If Yahoo continues removing useful functionality instead of improving it, there is little reason to stay.
Yahoo Mail used to be a solid service. Unfortunately, with changes like this, it feels like the company is pushing loyal users away instead of listening to them.

They are the worst and most unhelpful
They are the worst and most unhelpful. I am trying to sign into an e-mail i have had for decades and it need sto verify it's me with only option using phone number indont have anymore. Try to use support. All it offers is to sign in (can not do that without verify it's me) and when I try to call can never get to talk to someone and on their Facebook messenger they offer no help. 0/10
This comppany should be out of…
This comppany should be out of business. I was going through Poshmark, just looking, no buying. Two day later I get a notification that my order shipped. I Never ordered this item (a purse). This purse was in horrible condition. Plus, I have never purchased a black purse. First thing I did was contact the seller, her response was contact Poshmark. Only to be told they do not except returns under any circumstances. Except for if the item was not described as advertised. I told them I never ordered, they didn’t care. So, I contacted my bank and put in a fraud claim. Poshmark was disrespectful, rude and uncaring. All I can say is “buyer Beware “.
ZERO respect for their loyal email users
I've had the same email account with them for over twenty years and haven't been able to log in for the last year or two. I managed to get into it today and what do I find? They arbitrarily took it upon themselves to delete over twenty years of contacts and important emails and act as though they did me some huge favor. The smug little "Empty! Hooray!" really sold it. This is how little respect they have for their loyal users. I'm glad I made the switch to protonmail and I encourage others to do the same. Never again will I use ANY of their services.

The Yahoo's AI is not function at all !!!

Yahoo detrimental to my personal health and bad for keeping business
Chris wanted a photo of my driver's license, which I provided after date of birth, apnd then wanted a selfie and again a selfie I can't access yahoo email recovery since I have a different phone number than when the account was set up more than 12 yrs ago, and I can't get an email from the account as that is the reason for my call. After all of those efforts on my part, simply to open my own email, she said "the system" denied it. She would not give me any more information nor allow me to speak to escalation. This is not poor service. It is no service. I am contacting my government representatives to ask for help and creation of regulation to ensure customers do not suffer miserable treatment. I am 69 in questionable health and cannot have so much stress. Shame on you. YAHOO.
