Great candles *(when they don't forget to add the scent) but they take their sweet time to ship holiday candles, and no indication when you place the order that they may take 5 days to ship during the holiday season. I ordered candles for gifts on 12/11 and as of 12/15 they are not even shipped!
This should be their most profitable time of the year they are thousands of people out of work who could help them ship in a timely manner ( 24 hours would be timely). You are missing a great opportunity to build good relationships, YANKEE!

Worst experience - Ordered 12 days ago- not even shipped no email nothing (shipping 10-12 days) Called on 12th day and cancelled order because I was told that it hasn't even been shipped. Ridiculous - disappointed

Ordered 1st December on a 3-5 day delivery, phoned up as nothing was received and my order said still in the warehouse. Asked to cancel the order as I can buy the same thing on Amazon and get it next day but apparently it couldn’t be cancelled and was promised it would be shipped last Friday. Checked today and it still says in warehouse, went on their Facebook page to find thousands of people commenting to ask where their orders were some were placed in November pre Black Friday! Not really sure if this is just Christmas rush (which to be honest they should be prepared for having been in business so long) or if there is a bit more to it. I’ve always loved Yankee however after the shockingly crap service and lack of any care from customer services I will now use another candle brand.

My advice AVOID AVOID AVOID

I WAS a loyal customer of YC for over 30 years but I will NEVER buy another thing from them! The last few years their product has gone from the gutter right into the sewer! Lest we forget the horrendous customer service. Constantly cancel orders when items show 'in stock'. I'm over using disgusting PARAFFIN wax anyway...carcinogenic, garbage! I refuse anymore to give my money to a company that can't run a company!

Unbelievably disappointing! I ordered 2 weeks ago and still has not been dispatched up to now. Based on their tracing order, my order is still in the warehouse!!! Seriously, it takes more than 2 weeks to pack 12 candles!!! I contacted them thru email and all I got is a generic email reply saying it will be deliver soon!

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM ONLINE!!! They don’t even deserve even a single star here!

Yankee Candle is by far the worst business I have ever ordered from. The in-store sales associates are really nice, but now that we’re all staying at home due to the pandemic, I’ve been buying candles online, and it’s an absolute bloodbath.

Shipping takes FOREVER. If an item you ordered is out of stock, they will offer to either refund you or send a replacement, but won’t make good on it. They simply steal your money and ignore your emails. I just had two messed up orders back to back, and YC won’t fix either one. It’s been such a bad experience, I doubt I will ever buy their products again, even after the pandemic. With a million companies out there making high quality candles, there’s just no reason to give these a-holes any business. I’m seriously shocked at how poor their customer service is.

I ordered from Yankee candle and the delivery firm UPS allegedly tried to deliver the package. I was at home at the time but later found a card in the communal hallway. There was no offer of redelivery but noted it had been taken to a supermarket about 20 minutes from my home . I contacted Yankee candle who said I had to collect it despite informing them I am self isolating due to COVID ( hence why I ordered on line). I complained again and asked for an immediate refund but was told to either go and collect it or wait until it is returned to them after 19/12 for a refund.
I am shocked by the poor service both from Yankee candle and the delivery firm they commissioned.
I will never order from them again

Ordered on 1st December, told 3-5 days delivery. No response from email I send asking for an update. 45 minutes on hold to be told it should be with me next week wc 14th December. Not very good service from a company who vastly over charge for their products

I ordered 4 medium jar candles (all different scents), a scent wall plug thing and a refill for that which were in stock on their website. The following evening I get an email from YC saying sorry but we’re canceling your order as the items aren’t in stock. Say what? Seriously? All of it not in stock lol. How does that occur??? I could even understand If maybe one of the items fell out of stock that there might’ve been a rush on and the system didn’t keep up, but ALL OF THE ITEMS? It’s a wonder they stay in business.

I have not yet received either candles or and explanation for their non arrival. The 10pc discount code did not work at checkout.

Literally the worst experience I've ever had ordering online. I ordered 5 personalized candles for Christmas. Two were canceled because of a blurry photo. It took 2 hours out of my day to get someone on live chat and get them to fix the problem.

I had used a 20% off coupon and also got free shipping on my original purchase. They wanted me to re-order the two candles and use a different photo, but I lost the 20% discount and free shipping. I told them I didn't feel comfortable ordering again without any reassurance on what discount I'd be given.

I didn't want to have to spend more money to order the same candles. He said he'd refund the 20% and shipping charges once I placed my order.

Those two candles cost almost as much as my entire order of 5 candles after it was said and done with. But I went ahead and ordered them anyway, expecting a refund.

I gave him my order number. He said, "Awesome, thank you. Let us just wait for the items to be shipped."

I said, "Okay" and have been waiting on live chat for 30 minutes ever since. I even asked, "Are we supposed to wait online together while the order is shipped?" and he never responded.

I had time to fill out a customer feedback survey on their website and fill out this Trustpilot review while waiting on a response. I'm pretty sure he left the conversation, with no reassurance that I'll be getting my refund.

I ordered 24 wax tarts from Yankee Candle! When they arrived over half were broke and crumbled! I went to open them and they fell apart like grains of sand and had hardly no scent at all! I ordered a variety of fall fragrances and the variety of cinnamon was not hardly scented at all! I thought once I put them in my tart warmer than I would be able to smell them but no one in my household could smell my wax tarts! I feel like it was a waste of money and time! I went online and hand-selected each scent I wanted! I was so disappointed to have a box come with broken tarts and what a mess trying to get the grains of what was left of my tarts! It spilled all over and most was stuck in the wrapper! I will not do business with Yankee Candle Co again....

If you can't smell the candles, go get tested for COVID-19! This is one of the symptoms of COVID. Get tested before you leave a negative review.

Yankee candles are pure garbage. In order to increase their profits, Yankee Candles has sacrificed quality. There is absolutely NO scent emanating from these useless piece of crap. DO NOT even think of wasting your money on these. Goose Creek Candles and Bath and Body Works offer candles with quality FAR superior to Yankee Candle. And they are actually even cheaper. Let's send a clear message to Yankee Candle - You give up on quality to increase profits - You will have no profits. BOYCOTT this company.

I will never order from Yankee Candle again. I placed an order and all items were shown to be in stock. I got an email that two out of four items had shipped but that two had to be cancelled. No explanation and my card was charged for the entire order. I emailed customer service and got a response that the items were now in stock and they would be sent to me at no charge as a customer courtesy. The next day I received another email that once again the items had been cancelled. Since I could not get any further response from customer service via email I called and spoke to someone. He was very nice but could not resolve my issue. I told him I was owed a credit for the items that were not shipped. He could not do that and said it would happen automatically within 48 hours. It has not so my next step will be to file a complaint and a dispute with my credit card company. I will never buy directly from them again.

We really feel ripped off. At $17 per candle, we only got about 80% of the candle use. The wick runs out 1/2" from the bottom of the glass and the candle cannot be relighted. It lasted only 24 hours. So we just bought the Walmart brand "Mainstays" for $5; it's 20 oz. compared to Yankee Candle's 7 oz. AND IT SMELLS JUST AS GOOD! Never again buy Yankee Candle. I also read that Yankee Candle puts out cancer-causing toxins!

I was so very, very disappointed when I went to the Yankee Candle Outlet today. The large jar candles WERE 5 for $55.00 (key word "WERE"). They are NOW $15.00 per jar. So much for the "Outlet" pricing.

HORRIBLE customer experience. I have been emailing them and no reply. I have now two failed deliveries, one of them has been delivered to a reception that i have no idea about so they not only have my products but also all my personal details. I raised a GDPR claim with them and no response . They apparently sent a replacement which is nowhere to be found . I havent received a refund. I have completely been scammed

Yankee Candles are my favourite! Their scent fills the room up so beautifully and is not too over bearing. I once had an issue when a candle burnt out too quickly, so I contacted customer services to tell them, and they were so kind and replaced it for me. Their response times are very fast and they gave really good advice to prevent that from happening again. I also visited their store at the London O2 shops and they have a great display of candles with such a wide variety. Their customer service in the shop was really good and the person serving was very friendly.

I ordered a lot of candles on sale. They emailed saying we were unable to ship one or more items. They canceled ALL but one candle! No explanation in email. I called and they said candles were out of stock. But when I checked their site, sure as poop, they show in stock! They just didn't want to sell them for the $6.63 price they had on them! FALSE ADVERTISING!
Then they wasted a bunch of my time with emails saying they would make it right, asking me a bunch of info about my order, saying someone would call me to reorder. Weeks later...crickets. BS!
Shady business I will STAY AWAY from. NEVER shopping there again.
