I am absolutely delighted with the instruments I bought from Hassan.

I could tell by the smell of the shop and the demeanour of Hassan that he was expert at what he does.

The shipping of the Guembri tool about 4 weeks to get to Ireland in a very stable package.

Now , I am trying to get the hang of the instrument and am having fun doing so because tuning is easy and the tone and playability are good.

Hassan has been on hand by text for help. He is a gentleman.

I visited Hassan in his workshop, a nice and helpful person, he adviced me about the size of the Guembri I should use as a beginner.. Then I ordered one,he sent it to me in a save an perfect packaging.. When I touched my Guembri I felt that I can be Maalem korden in 1week :).. I'm proud that we have in Morocco such a great craftsman like Maalem Hassan

I was very impressed with Gimbri's sound when I first heard Gnawa music in Brooklyn 11 years ago.
Unfortunately, Gimbri is not distributed in Japan, so I could not get it.
When I discovered this site, I immediately contacted them.
The reply was fast and trustworthy.
I purchased it via PayPal. The shipping time to Tokyo was 11 days.
It was carefully packed in a wooden crate and transported safely.
I am very satisfied with the beautiful tone Gimbri.
I am a jazz bassist and I would like to use it for live performances in the future.

The shop owner and Giembri manufacturer Hassan personally guided me through the ordering process via E-Mail very friendly and transparently. Every question was answered quickly and the package arrived securely packed in a solid wooden box. The instrument is in perfect shape and sounds wonderful – unplugged as well as through the built-in pickup. I am super happy with the instrument and would love to visit the workshop one day.

Far exceeded every expectation! I actually came looking for assistance in finding a travel case for an instrument that I bought in Marrakech. Not only did Hassan handcraft a secure shipping container for me in the spot, but he so made some mechanical fixes to my guembri, replacing the tuners, providing a new bridge and restringing and tuning the instrument before packing it carefully and securely for it's journey to California. And while I was happy with the used instrument that I purchased in a shop in Marrakech, I could instantly tell that Hassan's hand-made instruments were definitely of the highest-quality and beautifully made. Even more, while he was working he gave me so much information and history of the instrument and Gnawa music and culture. He literally stayed very late into the evening past closing to help me out with custom work. It was incredibly great to meet Hassan and spend time in his shop with him. Hassan, Your instruments are beautiful and your passion for Gnawa music and music in general is inspiring. Thank you so much for staying late to help me, but also for your story and your hospitality. I ordered a guembri from Yellow Workshop. I appreciated the prompt and informative correspondence. The instrument arrived to me on the west coast of Canada from Morocco in exactly 2 weeks and was EXPERTLY PACKED. Very impressive. I love my guembri and I would shop at Yellow Workshop again in a heartbeat.

A beautiful handmade guembri and excellent service from Hassan! I love that he posts short videos of him playing his customers' guembris on his website - they all sound fantastic and it is so reassuring to get to hear them before buying. Shipping to the UK took just under two weeks and it was in a really sturdy waterproof box. Hassan was very helpful over WhatsApp throughout the whole purchase, shipping and even afterwards with questions about how to start playing etc. I also bought a black strap, amplifier and a set of krakebs and they are all great. Was doing some research on guembri and decided to make a stop at yellowshop while I was on vacation. Hassan was fantastic and gave me lots of pointers. The guembri I purchased is wonderful and I love supporting artisans and musicians who are so dedicated to their craft. He shipped it to me quickly and securely. We discovered Hassan’s workshop online while preparing for our trip to Morocco. We ordered two guembri prior to trip and on our arrival Hassan took the time to teach us and our kids the history of the instrument as well as the first steps to playing it. Hassan arranged to have the guembri shipped to us in the US - packaging was secure and it arrived quickly. Hassan is a master craftsman, a patient teacher answering the kids’ questions and was very responsive before and after our purchase.

Fate made that i stumbled across hassan in the alleys of Essaouira. I discovered his work on the networks and when I was in his workshop, he took the time to explain and make me discover this magnificent instrument. A few days later, i received my guembri in perfect condition in paris.
